Lapis Lazuli

Amazing fragrance. First scary, overpowdery, aldehylic violet, but after a while...Wov:) I wore it in yesterday afternoon, and now in the morning I am wondering, what can smell SO good? Lapiz Lazuli <3

The vintage is a soapy floral aldehyde that smells mainly like hyacinth and narcissus. Maybe the violet and ylang and jasmine combining for that vibe? Some sandalwood, some vintage peach. Not a fruity floral or too sweet at all. Goes on a little sweeter floral and quickly dries to a sharp vintage that is very close to the skin. Pretty for spring. Not incredibly unique for the genre and some others are done much better with more complexity and staying power.

I found this perfume too overpowering and the longer I wore it , the more it irritated me. I love some of Galimards offerings but sadly this one is a big thumbs down from me. Not a pleasant smell in my opinion.

There is only one perfume house I'd trust to buy its products blindly, and that house is Galimard (note: it's written with one "L"). Not Chanel, not Ysl, not Guerlain e.t.c. "Lapis Lazuli" is a personal favourite. It is close to "No 19" but so much better! It is fresh in an intellectual way, marvelously floral like an irresistible woman and it has this unique ability to lift one person's mood like nothing else! Like all Galimard perfumes it comes in different concentrations, smells fantastic, it is all high quality ingredients (I have a 15 years bottle that stills smells amazingly!), projects and lasts good! Best of all? The price! If "optimism" was a perfume, it would be "Lapis Lazuli". I tell you, this perfume is alive!

expected this to be a dreaded aldehydic floral but can't see aldehydes in the listed notes and definitely does not leave that impression. Instead it is a classic fruity floral = not übersweet and fleeting like modern fruity florals but much better behaved and great lassssting powerrr! I wished to be familiar with Chanel No. 19 as it would be neat to compare both side-by-side! Sofar.. Lapis Lazuli goes above expectations.

Beautiful powdery and woody fragrance. I can smell the peach strong, but it`s soft and pretty not fruity. Elegant fragrance, very suitable for autumn and early spring. I have the perfume concentration which is very long lasting too. A little goes a long way.
