Pêle-mêle

I wear this one a lot when I'm going out especially to parties. It's delicate and sweet, a tad sickly if you spray it on too strong but if you're careful it's beautiful. Lasts all day and all night which is perfect for going out.

A very pretty scent. Very french. I get the peach and rose. I do get why others pick up the melon vibe. I suspect it's created by the combination of rose, plum, peach and tea. A classy scent for casual wear. It's not really a formal scent for me. Too pretty and not enough depth. There is a bit of the j adore Dior about it. A nice base of sandalwood and lots of clean musk. Average sillage and longevity.

The trail you create with pele mele will be much more enjoyable then what comes wafting off your bosom. This is a younger, heavier fruity floral. I enjoyed it more 12 years ago than I do now, as my preferences have shifted to drier compositions

This is pure melon to me. It's pleasant enough, but just a bit boring. Don't feel excited to wear it.

This is another fragrance from Galimard that's supposed to resemble another fragrance - J'adore by Christian Dior. There's a long time since I've tried J'adore, so I don't remember the exact smell, but I do remember that I didn't like it when I tried it. And I don't really enjoy Pêle-mêle either, so they might be similar. The opening is quite nice though. It's a pleasant, but very safe, fruity jasmine scent. But as it develops on my skin I pick up on an undertone that reminds me of a floral scented dishwashing liquid we have where I live. And although the dishwashing liquid smells nice, I don't want to smell like it. Strength is a solid medium, and longevity is 5-6 hours.

I wish Galimard had spray samples, because every time I try their foil packets, way too much comes out. This might be a okay scent on the right person, but it’s too strong for me. My take is that this is a common designer fragrance—and less natural than I anticipated. It’s the kind of scent that smells like it could be anything open to suggestion: Strawberries? Sure. Sandalwood? I suppose. Jasmine? If you say so. I really dislike Pêle-mêle, I didn’t make it to the one hour mark as I had to wash it off. Spray with caution, and/or be more careful than myself when opening those annoying foil samples.

Pêle-mêle by Galimard has a strong note of melon that overtakes the entire perfume. I was hopeful that I'd love this one, but it's the melon note is overwhelming - even only with a single spray. To soften it up, I had to layer on a vanilla-centric fragrance until I could scrub away Pêle-mêle. It wasn't for me, but two people who were near me when I tested liked it a lot.

To me this smells exactly like original J'adore, with a slightly woodier base. Becomes a skin scent very quickly, which is a real shame, I couldn't get any longevity out of it whatsoever. But while it lasted it was very beautiful.

Smells like J'adore, with a bit more body. Interesting, dupe is better than the original.

It is pleasant enough. It sorta reminds me of Rexona.
