WOW! A three letter review, just WOW! The dominant chili is working beautifully with the marine notes. And what a brilliant idea to add geranium to the mix! (I repeat: WOW!) Blackcurrant is shining through this sea of spice from a distance and the patchouli is also staying in the background keeping it low-key. If rose is included (I can’t detect it properly), then it does a wonderful job taking out some of the sharpness. I’m not surprised at all that there are positive votes from men for this fragrance. It is so special (I try not to use the word unisex), I can easily see why it wows both male & female perfume lovers alike. Edit- Wearing Princesse Pauline for the first time since I posted my above review 2 years ago. During the drydown I'm getting a lot more blackcurrant now than I did in 2018. Still a fantastic composition IMO.

i love this perfume!! although on me its ALL rose de mai, I barely get any of the other notes. this is the epitome of feminine energy, I can't think of any other perfume as feminine as this. on me it's a bright and sparkling rose, even though from experience i thought rose de mais would be warmer. this is for those days you want to feel like an absolute girly girl princess with a fluffy dress.
