The Indien

I like it a lot ! Cardamome is my new thing ! and I always liked green tea perfumes so this is a great combination. It smells great but stays close to skin. Can't wait to wear it in Summer.

My perfume has turn within few years in thé box in the dark. Very sad because I liked it.

On paper Thé Indien sounds like my dream summer fragrance- cardamom, tea, and bergamot are all notes I love. But on skin, it's a bracing, unforgivingly sharp tea scent for the first 1.5-2 hours, with occasional pleasant wafts of lemon. After that it gradually fades into lighter hay and even sometimes lightly floral-y green nuances, making it much more bearable as it progresses. The drydown comes on in about 3 hours and is all sandalwood, but much to my sadness, throughout the whole fragrance there is no cardamom anywhere to be found. As well, the bracing harshness at the beginning is the only stage with much projection. Once that passes, it stays very near the skin for the rest of its duration. Thé Indien lasts about 8 hours.
