Rosé Noir

I just ordered a sample of this because I was intrigued by the reviews and it did not disappoint! This scent is gorgeous, sexy, and sultry. The first few min are very leather heavy, but not unpleasant. I kept smelling my wrist. It just smelled like leather. I started to get worried, but after a while, it changed into a sweet leather scent. After about 15 min, I caught the scent of the sillage and fell in love. The scent had developed into a sweet leather woody scent with an identifiable plum note. It smells absolutely beautiful. The stainless steel note is very interesting. It adds a sort of depth to the frag that is so unique. I honestly wouldn't have been able to pinpoint what this note was if it weren't annotated. It's such a well balanced and well blended fragrance. Surprisingly, I don't smell the rose. I know it's in there somewhere, but to my nose this leans more animalic, woody, leathery, with varying notes of sweetness and plum. A man could wear this, but to me, it's more suited for a woman. This scent is giving sexy, dark, mysterious, femme fatal vibes. I really love everything about it. It's so unique. I don't have anything like it in my collection. It's definitely a winter/ fall scent so I'm bummed I have to wait a few months to wear it, but I definitely plan on buying a full bottle of this.

I tried this in a fragrance event and didn't like it enough to try it on my skin. I considered it masculine and meh. But then, a Decant shop gifted me a 1 ml decant of this. I didn't want to try it on my skin because of the sharpness of the leather on the paper strip, but then I thought I should give it a chance since I already had 1 ml. And Oh my gosh, how it transforms on the skin!! This is magic!! I can say this is one of the most sexy, attractive and delicious smelling fragrances for men, but a woman could totally pull this fragrance off. It's such a different approach on rose, so mysterious with a touch of sweetness, A-MA-ZING. I gave it a 3 when I smelled it on the strip, but after trying it on the skin and finally gave it a 5. This is such a discovery. Very enjoyable. And I can't take leather as a note, but somehow I can stand it quite well on this fragrance. Quite recommend.

Surprised how much I enjoyed Rosé Noir. Started with smoky patchouli and some oud and a bit of dark leather standing out, then it evolved pleasantly over time to reveal the honey, brown sugar and apple crisp. It is blended very well. I do pick up the rose, sandalwood and musk but as part of the chorus of scents. The opening and short time following were a little bold, but the dry down makes the journey worthwhile. Very interesting how the fragrance changes over time worn. Truly outstanding! One of the best uses of oud in a fragrance. Often I find other fragrances have too much oud. But Rosé Noir has just enough oud and patchouli to balance everything. Great quality, longevity and very good projection.

This is one of the most INCREDIBLE rose/oud style fragrances I've ever smelled! This is sexy, sweet, a tiny bit metallic and anamalic.... how can anyone dislike this fragrance? Rose Noir completely steers away from a typical middle eastern style which is a great idea. Modern and intoxicating, succulent sex driven aphrodisiac, bold & powerful filth. Why does everyone want to smell the same? Yeah cuz ur a basic bitch with a basic Nose and no taste to boot! Walk into a gathering wearing Rose Noir and demand the room, control it, own it! 10 out of fckn 10 fragrance

Ooh, this is nice. I find the leather and oud prominent, creating the noir aspects, while the apple crisp, rose, and vanilla notes help balance things out. It all makes for a dark, sexy, and addictive scent. I think this would work in a lot of situations, from formal to more casual, but I think this would be more of a fall/winter scent...which is exactly when I might have to pick up a full bottle, as this is a good one and I don't have anything like it.

I did not think I was going to like this version because I am typically not a fan of strong leather notes. I own and love the original Rose All Dae version so much I figured I would get a tester to give this one a shot. I actually love this version as well! I don’t think it’s repetitive to have both. The leather is there but not at all in an off putting way. I really don’t get a lot of Oud. It’s blended in very well so I get leather more than Oud.

I love this perfume! The honey, sticky apple beneath a strong leather is mesmerizing. I kept inhaling deeply in order to succumb to the harmonious armor. There's this thrilling balance of strength and desire. It makes me feel like a girl version of Lancelot. The Steel note perhaps is the sword with a thorned rose tucked at my side. The memory of a love worth fighting for...

I love it. This is exactly what the notes promise, so your like or dislike of leather and oud will largely determine whether or not this works for you. Both notes are prominent on top of the original's spicy rose apple crisp. Definitely test if you are wary of either leather or oud, but for me this is a great twist on the fantastic original.

In my opinion, this is much better than the original. I really love this one. Finally, a fruit other than raspberry being combined with leather. The oud is fantastic, as well. The best from the house, by far.

I get Rosé All Daé up top, but it is overtaken by boozy leather. Beast mode fragrance! I'm not a huge fan of leather notes, but the booze brings it to an Overture type of level. Gallagher, ALL DAY !!

Besides the original Rosé, this smells just like Cadence and Amber Absolutely (by Fort & Manlé).

According to the brand, this is a different interpretation of Rose All Dae-and that's very obvious by smelling it. This does smell like Rose All Dae with oud added in. This starts out with the fruity, jammy rose base and a slightly medicinal oud. As it develops, the oud goes in more of a woody direction and the leather starts to emerge. As someone mentioned in a review below, this is a unique take on a rose-oud combo, because the rose in this is sooo jammy and sweet (it's like a fruity rose jam!). I personally enjoy this interpretation with the leather and oud more than the original Rose All Dae...which I found to be borderline too sweet for my taste. The oud and leather help to ground this and cut down on the sweetness; this leans more unisex than Rose All Dae (which I found to be more feminine). Also, as with most Gallagher fragrances, the perfomance on this is fantastic---a little goes a long way and it lasts all day.

You wouldn’t get it from the notes, but this is surprisingly juicy. The fruity notes with the metallic feeling makes it almost a cold drink-like. All that is behind the massive black, shiny leather and oud notes. This will last you a lifetime as a single spray fills the room, leaves meters of sillage and lasts a day, and the night. Two sprays will get you through any cold. A unisex, if you tolerate oud and leather as a woman and rose and fruits as a man.

Spicy rose BOMB!!! It’s very radiant. You will be blown away with dusty saffron then you’ll get a dark dry rose with sweet yet gothic base. And of course oud, you’ll get lots of oud (not too clean, not too animalic). In general, it’s great but punchy :) Follow me on IG: scent.guide

The honey is way too much for my liking, sort of like sweet tobacco 18.21. This would have been fantastic if it wasn't for that :(

It's just leather and metal, slightly woody on me. It is sharp and punchy. I don't like it but people around me noticed it and they loved it.

A predominantly leather fragrance with a honey rose scent to round it off. A fine fragrance but not for me.

Immediately no. For one half second after spraying this perfume, I thought, “Wow, this smells exactly like Rosé All Daé!” (Which I REALLY liked!) And then came a dark, unpleasant note–a combination of burning tires, oily patchouli, and camphorous wood. All of that sits greasily on top of the lovelier apple and cinnamon liqueur and ruins this scent for me. I'm glad there are folks who love this one, but on me it is super unpleasant.

Nonono Leather and metallic. It's like being stuck in a new car. I have washed my hand 3 times. I think it might have traveled into my brain and laid eggs. Makes you smell like a robot

[Rosé Noir] ⚫️⚫️⚫️⚪️⚪️ ...is centred around the accord used in another Gallagher release: Rosé All Daé. Featuring the same overdose of cinnamyl alcohol and damascones for the same rough rose experience. It is strange and edible too as the cinnamon/almond nuance of Cin’Alcohol nods to the tonka materials, bringing to mind tasty pastries. The leather accord isn’t smooth and jet black. It has texture with the grain still perceptible. The accord paired with the heavy application of damascones and saffron, turn the leather an interesting deep purple colour. During the heart of the perfume, the fruits give way to a sharp ambrocenide reminding me of Malle’s The Moon with the similar ambiguous oud faucets. I like this perfume but do not love it. I think if Dan Gallagher were to revisit this in a few years time, he’d want to change some things around. I personally wish the rose was more fresh and fruity to really contrast and create tension with the leather and brutal woody amber materials.

Oh God, instant No. It’s very similar to Rosé All Daé but with a huge dose of Oud and leather combining to make a seriously dark rubbery licorice mixed with booze. The review below me describes it perfectly. Oily, smoky woods, that sharp metal, ugh...it’s 96 degrees here today. I sprayed one tiny spritz of this on me and I feel faint and I’m inside in the AC. Even in the dead of winter this is a LOT. This is nuclear strength and the longevity is not kidding 12+ hours.

This is an epic leather oud. This really deserves the name ‘Noir’ - it is really deep and dark and thankfully does not have animalic, truffle or tobacco notes which I can’t wear. I do get a touch of roses peeking through to add richness and colour, but this is all about the noir notes. Love it! It is truly beastly so go easy on the spray but I can’t wait for winter to break out my leather jacket and boots! This will go brilliantly.

Beautiful fragrance! It’s sparkling at first, like champagne. I get the leather, sugar, metallic, it’s so well made. This develops like a perfume with a price tag of $300+. The scent bubble is huge, compliments galore. I can smell it on myself hours later. After about 2 hours is when the magic really happens! A very unique rose scent. I’m happy to add it to my collection.

It's a very interesting mix by Gallagher but ultimately, you're not hiding away that big fat leather and oud raving house party in the back garden (with a garage attached right adjacent to it) behind the quaint opening and unassuming front doorstep and small hallway of light vanillic apple pie the air-scenter unit pumps out from the ceiling. Sorry. My rating: 4/10.

What’s with the fancy silver top? I just bought two fragrances from them and both came with plain plastic black tops. Anyone else have same experience? Very nice perfume. Well blended, the Oud is not nasty and skanky and the leather blends in well. But u have to love leather and Oud. I highly suggest a sample first.

The plum note is luscious, full and juicy while the suede note is dry and so very smooth. Probably my favorite Gallagher fragrance. ✨
