Cheat Day

Can you imagine being unhappy while eating a waffle cone filled with Neapolitan ice cream? I can't either! That's the aroma of Cheat Day and the ambiance is one of happiness and relaxation. The strawberry, dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream notes are bold and very sweet but Cheat Day is not a children's sweetie. No, the sweetness here is tempered by the slightly sharp bitterness of roast coffee and it's that coffee note that makes Cheat Day very much an adult gourmand. Nonetheless, like a child, you'll find yourself wanting to lick your wrists for the entire 8-12 hours it lasts. Ganache perfumer Jarek Covarrubias has a gift for creating truly edible-smelling top notes. In Cheat Day, you get the scent of chocolate-covered strawberries. One whiff takes you back to Valentine's Day. Sillage is moderate during the first two hours or so, but then the scent disappears. Longevity seems to be the weak point of Ganache fragrances. Still, though, the fragrances smell yummy, and may be a good choice for a date night when you aren't trying to keep the same scent going all day long.

Cheat Day is such an interesting gourmand, and a fun one to wear on a weekend morning at home. Puts a smile on your face, and a rumble in your tummy! You will be raiding the fridge in no time! This was not as long lasting as I would have hoped, and the silage didn’t seem that much. I like this, but prefer the longer lasting “Starfish and Coffee” from the same nose at Ganache Parfums.
