Coconut Flan

Toasted sweetened coconut, not fresh, is the most prominent note and almost immediately after spraying I pick up a dense, warm vanilla caramel with a little almond tossed in for good measure. There's definitely the impression of a milky creaminess here, probably from the caramel. Imagine Tres Leches cake made with a drop of almond extract, soaked with dulce de leche & cream of coconut in place of plain evaporated milk & heavy cream, and topped with a generous portion of toasted coconut sprinkled over the whipped cream. I've had 2 sprays on my wrists for over 4 hours. I can still see the oily sheen and it's still projecting strongly as I move around the house. I have no doubt I'll still be smelling Coconut Flan when I wake up tomorrow morning. Delicious!

Blind test: I got a whiff of the most gorgeous coconut just from the cap. I guessed: rich coconut, almonds and a biscuity wafer smell. Probably also vanilla. I normally don't love coconut but this is so nice, like one of those nice biscuits. Gorgeous gourmand that will make a nice zero calorie dessert. My best guess here was Un Bois Vanille by Serge Lutens, definitely smelled niche. I am also getting a clay note I get this a lot with Almonds. Now I definitely want a delicious coconut almond biscuit smelling frag! Definitely need to check out this house. Lasts ages! Been going 12 hours!! ***Get in touch to swap samples, UK only ***

I bought a full two bottles based on a tester I received and loved. The tester started with rich coconut and caramel, later mellowing to a woody floral combination. The first full bottle starts the same way, but ends up smelling burnt and a little bit like mushrooms. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or its gone off? I've given it a couple of tries and it ends with the same result. I guess I'll give the second bottle a try? Fingers crossed for that tester's loveliness!

I have not been able to find this one & I LOVE Ganache. For the reviews about this one & some of his others, I can tell you, he isn't very consistant with some of his recipes, bottles, names, timing, shipping or anything. IF & when you get them, you will more than likely love them. I hope to get this one day.
