Dark Roast

I bought several bottles of Ganache when the shop was reportedly going out of business due to owner illness. I am not a fan of gourmands and so I do not know why I bought so many. This is the only one I like. It is a strong, true coffee. I get some vanilla, and there is definitely sugar in there! It is fun, but not something I would wear out of the house, except maybe to a carnival. A like (despite the obvious sugar) but not a love. Just something that makes me smile. The scent it strong and linear, moderate to heavy silage. The only thing I can compare it to is Montale Chocolate Greedy, but with coffee instead of chocolate. I have 3 bottles of Ganache I would be delighted to exchange (not being a gourmand person). ;) I do need to set up a swap list!

Reminds me very much of my original bottle of Mugler's Pure Coffee but less "perfumey" and more like waking up to the enticing scent of coffee brewing when you've set the timer on the coffee maker before going to sleep the night before. Maybe just a hint of vanilla but definitely no cream, no sugar, no chocolate or caramel, just lovely dark roast coffee beans. No incense either, to my nose, although that possibility seemed intriguing when I ordered. All said and done though, I just knew this would be lovely and ordered a back-up even before my first bottle arrived when I read about Ganache closing. So glad I did! Pour me another cup, please.
