Agreed. Ganache is VERY generous with their samples, and I can't help but love how they packaged everything. It really gives you a vibe that they care about their products, and they want you to love them, too. Just got mine yesterday, and damn... this thing is nuclear! My 25% Iso E Super solution doesn't even give me wafts the next day like this thing does. I did 4 sprays, 2 on the same location of each side of the neck, and people can smell me strongly from like 20 feet away! I applied it at 8:00pm last night, I woke up at around 8:00am and it's still PROJECTING. How's that for performance? It smells somewhere between maple syrup, original Captain Crunch, and a cool vanilla ice cream with warm salted caramel drizzle on top. Very convincing gourmand. Go LIGHT on the trigger (perhaps 2 sprays in the same spot?). The potency will make it last a long time. High value, high recommend.

At first spray this has a sweet caramel butter scent that smells so delicious and real, it makes you want to eat it. As it settles down you smell the whipped cream. As I wore it throughout the day it would remind me of vanilla ice cream covered in caramel drizzle. The only downfall is the fragrance is very light and it doesn't have much sillage. Sometimes it makes me feel as if it has disappeared, but ocassionally I can still get a whiff of it. Not sure if I am a fan of the price on it's own. I WISH it lasted longer because this is such a delicious scent. edit:// Ganache re-sent me another more potent version of this and I can say it lasts a lot longer. Still has soft sillage on me however and I spray it on my clothing. I can definitely sense the maple syrup scent in this version as well. Still one of my favorite perfumes.

I can't say which version recent reviewers are smelling but the bottle I received a few weeks ago is heaven in a bottle. Ice cream heaven, that is. This is straight-up Neapolitan ice cream with vanilla, chocolate and strawberry jumping right out at me from a delicious freshly made waffle cone. It's almost trite to say but I am very much tempted to lick my wrist. I scream, you scream, we ALL scream for ice cream and Ganache's Ice Cream Shoppe is honestly what we're all screaming for. Keep in mind that JC returned to his original formulas in recent months after ill-advisedly having changed them in response to folks who said they preferred artificial ingredients that lasted longer than the natural ones with which he began. Back to natural with a mere 8 hour longevity... good enough for me!

This perfume is like wearing a cookies packet on. This kind of cookies with chocolate chips and some fruity arome. Very similar to chocolate greedy by montale but lighter and with more cookie and less chocolate. The opening is too much but after a while It sets down and is pleasant. It worths for the price although quality and performance is not the BEST. Therefore if you are a gourmands lover you Will enjoy It for sure! In my bottle says extrait de parfum instead of eau de parfum... Scent: 9 Longevity: 9.5 Sillage: 8 Quality/price: 10 Originality: 8 Versatility: 5 Global: 9

I love it ! The opening is really loud in caramel and vanilla I was afraid because it smells "candle like" but this sensation don't stay long. After, it's a gooey caramel with some biscuit and I smell some spices ? It's so fall to me. I don't see myself wearing it in summer. I think it would be superb as a layering perfume with for instance by the fireplace from margiela or a perfume with a strong coffee note or even a rose one. Endless possibilities !

This smells nice, just like ice cream. In the beginning, it smells like vanilla ice cream with caramel and I do get the waffle cone note. The dry down smells like strawberry ice cream on my skin. This lasted about an hour with low projection.

I have a few fragrances from Ganache and this one is probably my favorite. It had pretty good longevity as well.

This fragrance reads pastel mint green to me. Pastel mint green with white polkadots. Cutesy ice cream cone illustrations, pinterest arts and crafts with homely bespectacled 20-somethings, quirky hand-written fonts, cute minimalistic cat cartoons with thick, brown outlines... that whole estethic. You get what I'm talking about, right? It's a very springtimey gourmand. I get the ice cream reference, sure, but honestly I think this smells like pear-flavored mint liquorice. An oddly specific reference, maybe, but there's a type of liquorice candy that mimics the look of school chalk. A minty white filling with a thin cylinder of sweet liquorice surrounding it and a hard, very thin shell encapsulating the whole thing that cracks satisfyingly when you bite through it. In this particular case, pear flavored. It's uncanny, and 100 % lovely.

Surreal. Very vivid olfactory image of a waffle cone vanilla ice cream with hot chocolate syrup dripping all over. Yummy. Ordered blindly a long time ago, very very good stay power and longevity. 100% recommended for gourmand lovers only. I had to add that the company is very slow with shipping. I understand it is due to lack of staff, Ganache perfumes is a "just one man" company. I think the fragrance is worth the waiting. The creator must be a genius.

My boyfriend told me I smelled like waffles and syrup. The waffle cone/biscuit note is very pronounced and It doesn't smell stale at all. After that the syrup note is more Carmel than maple. The vanilla ice cream is clearly present, but never overshadows the Carmel cone, even with my vanilla loving skin. Longevity is solid, although the last part was musk and Amber and hard to distinguish from skin.

This is a gourmand masterpiece. It starts out with a quick scent of a slightly underripe banana being cut open to make a banana split. After a few minutes, the "freshly made waffle cone" scent begins to appear. It's definitely the scent of something yummy coming out of the oven! If you want to smell like a delicious bakery, this is the perfect scent!

I got the reformulated Ice Cream Shoppe, and I, I must say, HATE it. I smell like the interior of a new SUV. Everyone around me feels car sick when I am around. The new formula for Ice Cream Shoppe smells too artificial and very plastic-y. I am so disappointed for that blind buy after reading all the comments above :( Not work on me, sorry

I love this scent. Agreed it doesn't last long & I received mine today in a different bottle. Not the bottle listed, they had gone to a taller, skinny bottle which I was OK with. They sent it in the gaudy cheap looking bottle with a horrible sprayer that was too long for the bottle & 65% of it leaked out. It was a MESS! I sent them an email & pics, hopefully they will not continue w/ this bottle. I think the price point for this should be WAYYY lower. Like, seriously, Body Mist priced. At very most $29.99. I love it & will use it, but I will not repurchase it like this for the going price. I'm not a cheapskate either, but I do call it like I see it.

This review is for the "original version" (so stated on the website.) This is really yummy and definitely smells like an ice cream shop. It's sort of like Imaginary Authors Whiff of Wafflecone but way sweeter, like how I would expect it to be. Unfortunately I'm somewhat anosmic to this and after maybe 30 seconds, I can barely smell anything. Hubby says I smelled like cookies so I guess that's a good sign. But ultimately I sold it. Even though it lacks the sweetness I usually go for, I think I prefer Whiff of Wafflecone, and it seems a bit redundant to have both.

A very realistic waffle cone, caramel, and vanilla ice cream fragrance. Literally smells like the inside of a Baskin Robbins store. Lasts all day on my skin. Mr. Covarrubias runs a one man shop and makes small batches, so the variations in lots (as well as reviews) are understandable. The fragrances of his that I've tried so far seem to be unique and well made, with a very reasonable price point. It would be better if his online store was active year round, but his stuff is worth checking out when it is available.

A birthday gift! Lasted all day. The initial blast was vanilla, not only vanilla but ice cream. Waffle cone comes in a millisecond later.throughout the day I've caught other ice cream flavours peeking through, cherry aniseed and coconut. I don't know if I'll wear it to lunches and parties but on my own or with family it's a lovely reminder of a big ice cream parlour we used to visit in Germany. I love it. But just how do they do it?

i cannot layer with anything because of how potent it is. the waffle cone smell is turned up 50 to the point where it makes me so nauseous... it’s like waffle cone tootsie roll flooding the house, flooding my nose... suffocating me. this is a candle u don’t even wanna burn bc it’s an instant headache. wearing this on ur body????? god forbid. where is the vanilla ice cream in here? :((((((((

This perfume conjures up childhood memories of walks to the local Baskin Robbins on warm summer nights. From the icy blast of cold air from the freezers- to the heavenly aroma of creamy, milky ice cream and waffle cones- Ice Cream Shop captures it all beautifully. Incredible strength and longevity. Another winner from Ganache Parfums and a must try for all lovers of sweets!

This smells like a cheap and artificial candle or Glade plug-in. The Fall scented ones that have lots of caramel/ maple in them. I feel like I accidentally just spilled a glade diffuser refill on my wrist. There's also a strange plastic note I can detect. Yuck!

Ganache sent me a very generous pack of samples with my order of Ice Cream Shoppe. Just used one labelled ‘Sweet Sticky Thing’. It’s delicious but not on the Fragrantica list. Pastry , fruit, custard and maybe almonds! One for comfort and peace after a bad day.
