Lemon Pop

To me, this smells like a really convincing lemon-lime sparkling soda. I really like it a lot, it is so refreshing. In my opinion ideal for spring and summer and hot weather. Unlike Lemon Eclair or When Life Gives You Lemons, this one is nice and airy-fizzy instead of thick-creamy. After smelling all of the Lemon scents they had to offer I would recommend WLGYL over Lemon Eclair if you're looking for a sweet-creamy lemon. In my opinion, WLGYL smells better and performs better than Eclair. I'd recommend Lemon Pop if you are looking or a lighter, more refreshing lemon with a bubbly effervescent quality.

Okay, so I ordered this, along with S.O.C.K.S. and Silver Couture, in Ganache's going out of business sale. I used Haught Perfumes' notes for it as an additional guide, that made me choose this over Lemon Eclair (which I feared would be too sweet) as my gourmand lemon. I should've gone with the Lemon Eclair. Let me state for the record, however, that this is not a "bad" perfume. It's well made and lasts at least 8 hours on skin. That said... this is not a "lemon" pop. Lemon zest barely makes an appearance. No, this is JUNIPER POP. Juniper is the star of this show. The opening is a nice, tall Gin & Tonic, with the lime (none in this frag) swapped out for a slice of grapefruit. Eventually it becomes more lemony, before that disappears, too, and you're left with gin. Edit: I've become fond of spraying this before sleep, because the scent is so refreshing. It's something of a palate cleanser. 2nd Edit: The lemon actually comes out more if you wear this in humid weather. So if you're looking for sweet lemon that's not *too* sweet, and live in a humid / tropical climate, then this is for you.
