Silver Couture

CREAMSICLE! Or an Orange Julius. They smell almost the same, I think. Either way, that's the initial burst of "Silver Couture" (which I recently purchased along with "S.O.C.K.S." and "Lemon Pop" as part of Ganache's "going on a break" sale), which stays fairly linear. Not that I'm complaining, I don't mind linear - especially if the scent is as lovely as a Creamsicle. I did like, however, that there seems to be an underlying spiciness to this that helps it from becoming a sugar overload. To my nose it's black pepper at the base, but going by the notes I think it's the bergamot acting *particularly* spicy! Sillage is moderate, and I can still detect this faintly on my skin six, maybe seven hours after application. So while I fawned all over the scent of "S.O.C.K.S.," I'll admit "Silver Couture" has it beat in terms of longevity while still providing citrus goodness.

Orange dreamy creamy popsicle with petitgrain. It starts as a cocktail and settles into the skin like a cool treat/dessert. Really fun and dynamic scent for the price and good performance. It's not overly sweet because of the bitterness of the orange, the smoothness of the musk, and the underlying scent of vodka. The vodka doesn't make it smell like you've been hitting the bars by any means. It's just taking a back seat to make a fun scent more mature. Pour yourself some cream soda, add a shot of vodka, and put in a scoop of orange sherbet. That is pretty close to what this smells like. Good stuff.

I was really excited to see cream soda as a perfume note, since it's one of my favorite sodas/pops (I am a MI native, lol). When I sniffed it upon opening it, I recognized it immediately. It is practically identical to Gaiac 10 by Le Labo!! NO way!!!! While I was hoping for something new and exciting to sniff, I am not at all mad. I ADORE Gaiac 10, and this was less than a quarter of the price. Eat your heart out, Le Labo!

Yep, this is awesome. Orange creamsicle but with cream soda...wish I would have bought a bigger bottle.

Gourmand but not overly so, and more dry than sweet. Simple and restrained, quite a lovely light scent.
