Strawberry Panna Cotta

This definitely satisfies my strawberry craving! Freshly picked sun ripened strawberries, sprinkled with sugar, drizzled with rum and topped with a huge dollop of whipped cream. Fabulous fragrance! Probably one of the best blind buys I have made. Love it!

Strawberries soaked in white rum followed up by whip cream and custard. The strawberries lend a tartness to all the creamy sweetness. The sillage is moderate and noticeable as I opened the sample box and could smell it eminating from the bottle before I sprayed it.its a good fruity gourmand. I think layering a floral with it would make it spectacular. A solid buy .

This is VERY similar to the Spring 2019 "Strawberry Sherbet" scent. That one has added creaminess that actually improves the scent. They're both good, but I prefer that one more.

I don't get strawberry... I get rhubarb that intensifies in tanginess as it dries down

Recipe for strawberry jam: 2 pounds fresh strawberries, hulled 4 cups white sugar 1⁄4 cup lemon juice Opening: A realistic homemade strawberry jam, however the cook poured in too much lemon juice making it tart and or the strawberries were picked when they were almost ripe (We have a strawberry patch in our yard and I have consumed strawberries in almost every state). Dry down: The cook poured in cream and added more sugar giving it an almost synthetic quality. It starts to resemble a third or second cousin to Burberry Her. The last I checked this was not on their permanent roster of fragrances and also not available in their "Bring Back My Bottle" offerings. I would not repurchase and never reach for it. A lot of fragrances from this house seem to use the same base that I am not fond of. It is as if one has consumed various meals (black cake, curry chick peas and pumpkin accra) throughout the day only to have the same aftertaste in their mouth. All the scents in this house that I own in descending order of greatness: 1) Uva-smells exactly like grape soda (LOVE IT) 2) Globos De Chicle-cheap hard bubblegum with the powder (okay) 3) Strawberry Panna Cotta- see above (okay) 4) Pr'Oud (not in fragrantica's database)-leans slightly masculine, but lacks the it factor. Safe blind buy for someone that just wants to test oud Awaiting: Cotton Candy Handmade Eau de Parfum Spray-Notes: Pink Cotton Candy, Blue Cotton Candy, Vanilla , Orris Root, Tonka Bean. (They had me at orris root) I want to find another gem like Uva, so the search continues...
