Ugly Christmas Sweater

I wore Ugly Christmas Sweater to work last night and everyone said I smelled like a Christmas party. I was thinking it would be more appropriate if I smelled like Hanukkah but can't argue that fried potatoes & onions topped with sour cream or applesauce would make a more delicious perfume than eggnog and gingerbread cookies ;) And Eau de Latkes just doesn't have the same ring to it as Ugly Christmas Sweater, right? My bottle is from 2018 and it seems to have deepened, the "flavors" have blended and somehow become more intense. The fragrance is now a creamy, thick, rum spiked eggnog accompanied by gingerbread cookies and it smells AMAZING! Maybe a little Yankee Candle-ish but that's OK because it's sooo sweetly festive and tasty. Faded to a buttery vanilla on my skin after a couple of hours but the full spectrum of notes was still strong on my clothing after a 10 hour shift. As tandaina said, totally fun to wear! Edit Oct 2, 2020 My original bottle has lost the eggnog note as it has aged and is now a very cinnamon-centric fragrance. I have a newer 50ml bottle of the extrait de parfum and the eggnog note is very much the star of the show. My advice: order the 50ml bottle and plan on using it up this fall/winter/spring before the cinnamon note takes over.

Spicy sugar cookies. My bottle has a penguin in a funny hat on the sweater, which makes it even BETTER. Seriously fun and easy to wear. If you want something serious skip this. But if you like gourmands, go for it!

While it definitely has a "candle-esque" perfume vibe that I'd normally avoid, I gotta say it works for me. The concept is perfect, it smells like a Christmas party. Absolutely a light hearted perfume, but admittedly it has a nice boozy dry down that can pass for a much higher end perfume. Honestly I love it, I keep smelling my arm over and over again. Well done. 8/10

Wearing this today after finding it in the back of my closet. It is a soft, gently spiced cookie scent with minimal longevity. Barbie got the cute sweater.
