Yankee Dolla

Pass me a straw and a glass filled with ice cubes because I just want to pour in Yankee Dolla and drink it. The cola here is straight up concentrated cola syrup. No diet cola here, no sir; this is the full sugar soda fountain cola that's SO much better than the bottled or canned variety. Yankee Dolla reminds me of Outremer Cola but OC comes off like the Demeters which are "real scent and nothing more" fragrances and while Yankee Dolla is genuine cola, it surely has something "more than" cola. Also calls to mind Youth Dew but Youth Dew has an animalic aspect and a boatload of spices (especially clove) that you won't find in Yankee Dolla. And Youth Dew is more root beer than cola. All this according to my nose, of course; your experience might differ. Yankee Dolla is "unapologetically gourmand" with cola as the star that never leaves the stage for the entire performance.The "more than cola" consists of coffee notes that add depth and whiskey notes that give it a bit of fizz. I don't sense the tobacco or musk right away but they come into play about 30 minutes in to temper the heavy sweetness & sharp fizz of the cola. Love cola? Get Yankee Dolla before it disappears.

Wow! I see why others mention Youth Dew. It definitely has that vibe. Intense! I definitely get vintage Coco Cola. Coco Cola that has evaporated. There is boozy vibe. A coco cola cocktail like Cuba Libra perhaps? The coffee adds a curious twist. I like it and grow to like it more and more.. I will layer it with my Olympic Orchids Cafe V and see what happens. This is definitely unique if nothing else I get good longevity and sillage. Definitely an intense scent that should not be blind bought and not worn in warm weather!!

74th This was so weak and sad...NOT EDP, more like weak EDT or water based body mist. The coffee note ruined the cola aroma(added a weird burnt bitter smell), as scent was already fleeting in 10 minutes. TAKE NOTE: Outremer makes the best effervescent Cola scent out there!

Youth Dew quit its day job to become a popstar. an undeniable tangy cola. the opening tickles your nose with cinnamon, citrus, and tons of sparkle. like pop rocks exploding on your tongue. the dry down is syrupy, and a lot calmer, but it's still refreshing and summery. this was my first experience with ganache, so I had no idea what to expect. was worried I would get something obvious and tooth-achingly sweet, but this complex creature won me over completely. how easy to love, yet how substantial. suitable for all seasons, all genders, all ages. like the reviewer below, I want to guzzle this down from a frosty glass. I want to fall in love with someone just so I can stick my wrist in their face and go, don't you love this too, and then dump their ass for my new juicy love, yankee dolla.
