Ivy

Wow, no reviews? I'll do the honours. I recently blind-bought Gant Ivy for £65/$85 (50ml), and here’s my take: When you first spray it, the opening is a bright burst of citrussy-green freshness with an almost mojito-like vibe. As it dries down, it evolves into an incredibly fresh and clean scent - like a bar of ivy-infused soap. This fragrance feels effortlessly versatile, perfect for all seasons, though it leans more toward daytime wear. The standout here is the ivy note, which gives Gant Ivy its unique identity. It’s hard to describe exactly, but it genuinely smells like ivy—airy, green, and lightly soapy, with just a touch of spice around the edges to keep things interesting. What I love most is how under-the-radar this fragrance feels. Gant isn’t a well-known house in the fragrance community, so this really comes across as a hidden gem. For me, it’s a strong 8.5/10! Unique, fresh, and incredibly versatile!

One of my personal favorite green fragrances. If you think of “green,” this is exactly how it smells, fresh, herbal, aromatic and clean which makes it super easy to wear. It also has excellent price value.

If you like the smell of grass and want to smell like grass get this, otherwise don’t.

My first thought was that it smelled like Calvin Klein Defy Eau de Parfum, and when I checked, boom, they both include the IFF molecule ‘Saffiano’ (saffiano not listed here, but it is on the carded sample I have from Gant). That Saffiano molecule is quite potent, and it’s the main note I pick up here. Top notes remind me of Polo 67, and that might the ‘pamplezest’ molecule also listed on the carded sample. Bit odd for a brand to list two of the fragrance molecules they used in the note breakdown, but it helps me understand what’s going on under the hood!

Smelled it at the store, I love it a lot, considering making it my signature scent. Makes me nostalgic since it's reminding me of Irish Spring soap, super green and calming 🍀 I hope it's not discontinued since I haven't seen it gain popularity. For anyone reading this please recommend some more similar scents, thanks!
