Grass

I read countless reviews the second GAP announced they were bringing this series back. Which while as disappointing as it was to hear the 2026 series weren't 1:1 matches, it at least prepared me to treat them as their own scents. First spray from the sample, yeah..clearly not the original GAP Grass but really nice scent. The first blast doesn't smell remotely green but very quickly it settles into a grass/leafy smell mixed with a little creamy sweetness. It's subtle and not overtly strong, but very quickly I noticed it's one of those fragrances I find myself taking several quick breaths to capture the scent again. Very clean and simple. Groundbreaking? No. Something I'd love to have around all the time? Yes!

Ok so- if you are looking for the same Gap Grass scent as the original - you will probably be disappointed. This version of Gap Grass is NOT the same as the og. The og smelled like literally fresh cut grass. This 2026 version is not as outdoor/lawn/naturalistic smelling as the og. This version is more synthetic and men's cologne-like. This version is more complex but also more generic. This version of Gap Grass still smells somewhat "green" but it is a melange of matcha, green-leaf notes AND cypress, cedar, lavender and musk. The cypress, lavender and cedar notes give this scent a barbershop/aftershave quality. This version of Gap Grass is unisex but leans more masculine. Best for warm weather but wearable all year imo. It is smooth but fresh and fairly well-blended and not very screechy so I would consider this a "safe" scent. But it is not as unique as the original was at the time. And they are not the same scent.

This is the only one from the OGs that I have never smelled before, so keep that in mind. If this doesn't make you want to go out and live in a forest, nothing will. Honestly this is the one I thought I would like the least, but I ended up loving this. It is very green but SO wearable. I feel one with nature when I wear this. I want to go on a hike when I smell this. This lasted the longest on me (8 hours) out of all the new re-releases (except I haven't done a full body spritz with Harmony yet).
