Heaven

All of these new or released Gap scents are safe scents to me- they are all easy to wear. Heaven is this easy to wear- it is a smooth, vanilla-skin musk-amber scent with a spicy note. The cardamom is not photorealistic, strong cardamom - it just provides a soft overall spicy quality that needs well with the vanilla and soft, warm amber/musk notes. Heaven is the most suited to cooler weather- fall/winter of the bunch imo. This version of Gap heaven does NOT really smell like the original. So if that is what you are looking for (the OG gap Heaven scent) you might be disappointed. It would have been nice if Gap stayed faithful to the og Gap scents. But this version of Gap Heaven is still a decent enjoyable scent in it's own right.

Leans more feminine but a nice scent. Very nostalgic, smells like walking through the mall. Like many of the scents in the set, nothing I haven’t smelled before but it’s a reliable fragrance that makes me smile.

Oh no! I couldn't detect the old Heaven anywhere in here. I know Gap felt they had to modernize the scent for the new Gap customer, but I bet they would've made a killing if they just rebottled the old stuff in frosted bottles (like the original ones) to appeal to the 38-50 year-olds. Also, I think they all had at least a bit of that creaminess that's so ubiquitous now, which the originals didn't have. I'm sure it's not a bad fragrance, but when you're an oldhead hoping for a scent memory, it's disappointing.

Smells like the OG pretty much to me. Maybe a little fruitier from the addition of the pear in this one. One criticism I have is the color of the juice. I would've loved the blueish color from the OG. Not the tan/beige color this one has now.

Notes are nothing like the 90s Heaven. Why not call it something else?
