Om

The whole collection is very pleasant. I couldn’t decide which one I liked most so I bought the discovery set. Om is beautiful, serene, and smells a lot like Father Figure to my nose.

I never smelled the original, so reviewing it as its own fragrance. Going off the title and notes, I was expecting a fragrance with a little more bite. Instead, an understated soft and creamy scent. Seems like the trend with this set is playing it safe. Which is nice, I could see myself buying several of these as full bottles; however, reading about the original scents it seemed like they were much more unique and daring. Which feels like a loss to not get to experience them.

Probably my least favorite of the re-release. Very dry, scratchy sandalwood and resin up top. Luckily it does soften with wearing. Strangely enough the resin smells more like myrrh than olibanum to me. I do detect a touch of ginger. I also smell a bit of the coriander flower. This is not at all a white flower scent, idk why Fragrantica scent notes says that. This is more of a fall/winter scent imo. If you enjoyed Lush's Icon you may enjoy this version of Gap Om.

This is just a shadow of the original Om. It doesn't have the same incense-like smell and spice like the original. The original Om lasted FOREVER on me, but out of all the new re-releases from Gap, this actually had the worst longevity on me.
