Sea Mimosa

A really nice, soft mimosa scent. And I don’t know if it’s the power of suggestion, but I am picking up on an aquatic sea note. Could be the kind of musk that’s being used, but I’m really enjoying this scent. It’s a little sweet and a little powdery, combined with above average performance. First time I’ve heard of this line, Gas Bijoux. I appreciate that they make scents that smell natural and are reasonably priced for this level of quality.

I'd say - soliflore. Mimosa is dominating. Sea Mimosa does not turn into a powdery fragrance, it is not too sweet, even though it does have almond (and heliotrope?) Lemon leaf - bergamote or grassy note (?) adds a bit of freshness. The promo said there is iodine note and saltiness, I don't know if it is there, but I like the suggested visual: I am looking at the Mediterranean sea from a high cliff, wind swirls around me bringing whiffs of sunny mimosa from the fields. There is longevity, the smell is pretty linear. It won't be my signature, but I wanted a nice mimosa in my collection, and I think I found it.

Bought it mindlessly, because when I was testing other perfumes in the store, this one smelled like watery aloe vera perfume. I was on my way to find the perfect spring perfume. I was so mistaken when I purchased it and applied on my skin. This one is citrusy, floral and musky. I hate that a bit sour citrusy note that the lemon leaf gives. I was disappointed with it. But never mind it, it just didn't live up to my expectation. In reality, Sea mimosa is a pretty realistic perfume. I like how it smells and projects. Once you spray it on yourself, you'll smell like a bouquet of freshly cut mimosas. A citrusy note gives it that green freshness. It's a good late spring/summer fragrance. It starts citrusy and then after a few minutes you smell like fresh mimosas that were just cut. The longevity is impressive the first 1-2 hours but then it fades away quickly. After 4-5 hours I can't even detect the smell of it, though on clothes it lingers much longer, like 8 hours or something. The sillage is good the first 1-2 hours, as well, and then you can only smell it up close to your skin. It's am average good perfume, but I wouldn't buy it again. Cons outweigh the pros. 5/10 Solid "OK" fragrance.

Very interesting. On the one hand, iodine, especially at the beginning, a certain scent of refreshing watermelon and sea salt, a watery accord not declared in the fragrance. On the other, a scent of creamy flowers and something reminiscent of toasted almonds. The powdery/creamy floral dimension gains strength as time passes, but the atmosphere of salty air remains constant and throbbing in the background of the perfume.

I've been disappointed by most things purporting 'beach', they usually field coconut suncream or salty water (a plastic version) or both together (even more revolting). This is less mimosa for me than sand n sea air, freshly mineral, the inside of found shells, freshened into wearable fragrance. Very very good.
