Gas

It's not something that can be easily found. It smells fresh and good, way above my expectations. there are scents that have similarities. but for now I can't remember. It will remain a valuable part of my archive.

This might be the strangest fragrance I currently own! I was intriugued by the Gas Jeans logo bottle which looks like someone melted an original Kenzo Pour Homme with a lighter. It opens soapy-fresh with the labdanum and is then dominated by the tea and vetiver notes. It is moderately strong and threatens to be unpleasant but I keep coming back to it as it is not cloying. If you miss the tea-note of Gucci Pour Homme II this might be a good replacement, I'm not saying they are the same, just have some similarities. Gas seems to be widely available at discounters in the UK and Europe, maybe because it was probably too daring for the average consumer who is used to fresh generic perfumes. There is no info on the perfumer or launch date but I believe it was around 2014. If you love tea-vetiver chypres and can find it chealply, give it a try.

Nose Note #492 Well, it's not bad. It doesn't present anything special. It must be from 2005 or earlier, because the scent profile is telling. It's coming from the 90-00s age of mens perfumery. Citrus, vetiver. It's following the direction of Terre d'Hermes, but very loosely and it's darkened down by labdanum. It's not very bright and dies down rather fast. Doesn't feel so well balanced. There's little to catch on to because it feels flat. But overall it's not a bad average perfume from the early 00s. 6.5/10, no gas problem

There are chypres, and then there are chypres that blow your mind. Gas for men (Gas is Italian jeans brand) is an unknown treasure that went under the radar after its release, and sunk into oblivion quickly after discontinuation. Taking a modern approach on a classic chypre structure with bergamot and lavender - labdanum and Paraguay tea - vetiver, sandalwood and patchouli - this cologne radiates sophistication and quality with no effort whatsoever. To the notes listed above, add a touch of fruityness and a dash of seasalt, and the picture will be more complete. Gas for men smells modern, fresh, erotic, natural and attractive - and at the same time feels familiar and comfortable. The blend of ingredients is outstanding. But the drydown is where the pure chypre magic starts to begin: those low-frequency analogue vibrations of vetiver and sandalwood that get under your skin and together are more than the sum of its parts. This is awesome stuff of rare quality, both in artistic concept and execution - if you see this bottle standing somewhere in a corner of the shelf, just get it, you'll be glad you did. I was looking for a fragrance that smells like gas but found another gem im glad I brought this it's unreal how cheap it is and how nice it is nothing to write home about but it's simple and very versatile for any occasion basis nice smelling soap like for $20 can't go wrong im surprised more people don't know about this hidden gem not a single review on YouTube which is rare 9/10

My friend bought some mens gas eau de toilette/colonge over 10 years ago and can no longer find it.It was not in the same bottle design as shown above then, it was quite oily. Is this the same fragrance or where can i purchace this ????
