Bluegrass

A nice Friend sent me a sample of this because she knows how much I love the brand. For some reason I never got around to sampling this one because I never had been a big fan of sweetgrass in general but this is absolutely gorgeous. I grew up on a dairy farm and I know what nature smells like. This fragrance reminds me of late summer days mowing hay baling hay. It is dry and warm outside the smell of freshly moan hay. Meadows are filled with clover. Collecting wild honeycomb from the bees filled with honey. The cool grass under my toes in the evening after a hard days labor on the farm. The smell of the Earth's bounty. Wildflowers a barn full of hay for the cows to eat in the winter. For me it smells like security knowing that we got through another summer. The animals will be fed and so will we. I love this one. It brings back memories of hard work, But good memories of being outside and enjoying nature's bounty. Will be wonderful to wear in late summer and autumn. Harvest Time is just around the corner and I can't wait.
