Norsk Snø

I’m obsessed with this one. After we both loved the scent in the Norway gift shop at Epcot (but were rushed away by the kids before we could investigate what fragrance we were loving), my sister bought Laila for me over the summer and Snø for Christmas. Laila is good, but something about the big bouquet of flowers with a burst of watermelon makes me get kind of tired of it before too long. This one is EXACTLY what I wanted. It’s crisp and clean and fresh. The green leaves are so bright and the citrus and orange blossom blend so nicely with the leaves and herbal notes. The lily of the valley and lavender gives it just enough floral pop without being overpowering. When I smell it I don’t feel like it’s super floral. The sweetness and fruitiness of the berries is there but it’s a less distinct sweetness than Laila; it doesn’t punch me in the face. I actually sprayed this after my shower the night before we went to Disney a couple weeks ago and then forgot about it. I kept smelling something incredible and fresh as we walked around. It took me way too long to realize that I wasn’t being hit with one of the piped-in park scents but that I was sniffing myself. 😂 I have NEVER felt like I smelled particularly good after walking around Disney but this one changed that! Even more surprising is that I was able to get whiffs of it even on a very crowded day. I’ll warn that when I sprayed it for the first time, I was thinking it was going to be too much for me to handle because it felt almost overbearing, like it might fill the room if I wore it (I did spray twice the first time), but once it dried down just a little bit it settled way down. The longevity on me is fantastic; and the fact that I don’t go nose blind to it is awesome as well. After the initial spray calms down, it doesn’t fill the room with the fragrance when I walk in but it does seem to surround me with a nice little close cocoon of it! I’ve also layered it with the OilPerfumery’s “Impression of Miss Dior Cherie” and I feel like they blend really well. The Snø adds something fresh to the miss Dior Cherie dupe that makes me feel like it smells even closer to the original. Final verdict: I really love Snø and highly recommend it!

The initial opening is a green and floral scent profile with some citrus undertones. 15 Min - I am still getting a very nice green and floral scent proifile, and I am now also starting to smell some citrus which is providing a nice balance to the fragrance. 30 Min - The fragrance continues to settle and transition, and i am now picking up the herbal notes along with a sweeter floral scent coming from the Lily-of-the-Valley and Orange Blossom notes. This fragrance is really becoming a smooth and fresh scent profile that is very appealing. 60 Min - The white florals continue to come forward within the scent profile, but there is still balance from the green and herbal notes. To my nose this is a fresh and airy scent profile that sits perfectly on my skin. Dry Down - The dry down of this fragrance is a soft white floral and citrus scent profile with undertones of a green and herbal scent and a very subtle fruitiness that comes out during the dry down. It smells clean and clean yet sophisticated and elegant at the same time. I could see myself wearing this for a work or special event during a warm or hot day. Performance: Projection of this fragrance is Good with the frangrance creating a scent bubble of about 2 feet for 2+ hours. The sillage is also Good with a scent trail of about 2+ feet for over 2 hours. Longevity is OK with the fragrance lasting on my skin about 5 to 6 hours, but becoming a skin scent at about 3 hours. My rating for this fragrance is an 8.5 out of 10.

Absolute perfection. Never have I ever smelled a more delightful fragrance. Never have I ever received more compliments on my scent than when I'm wearing this fragrance (it actually infuriates my partner how many compliments I receive on this scent, which delights me even more). Geir Ness somehow managed to harness the staying power of orange blossom which is so fleeting in many fragrances. Definitely get this one.

I love this perfume.. Starts off green and citrus-y, like a breath of fresh air and floral but not as strong as the accords make it seem. Stays fairly fresh for a few hours, then when it's really blended in with your skin it's a mild orange peel and lavender. I wear this when it's any temperature but I feel like it's at its best on a cool and sunny day. So beautiful.

This is such a fantastic and unique scent. As a guy, I love the freshness and the uplifting nature of the notes. So clean and vibrant, it's a great spring and summer fragrance and perfect for me for the office. It literally peps me up and keeps my mood and focus elevated during the day
