Ballerina

I received a very good size tester from Parfumado. I am absolutely in love with this scent. To me it is hard to describe, but it is the perfect balance of sweet and creamy, without being overpowering or too intense. On my skin, this is easily a signature scent, and can be worn all-year round. My partner is obsessed with this smell, and strangers have asked me what this is.

A pretty rose floral, very pretty girl esque

Narciso vibes, very rose, flowery, fruity. Very feminine. Another one that is pleasant, but not super memorable for me. Smells like a mix of many best seller perfumes on the market.

A year and a half has gone by since my first review, and I have danced with Ballerina on many occasions. She's too moody for spring, too rough for summer, and too pink for winter. Autumn should be Ballerina's season, but it really isn't. She seems like such a sociable gal, but I cannot think of anyone I know who would like Ballerina. Words that come to mind are paper, potpourri, winter cold. When I wear Ballerina, I always feel like scrubbing her off, because she gives me the same cold and dry sensation inside my nostrils that true Scandinavian winter cold does. Truly uncomfortable to wear, every single time.

To me, Ballerina is one single note; a very dry and powdery floral note. It smells like strongly perfumed clothes that have been kept in a small space for way too long, or a floral version of what wafts from your clothes if you spend an evening indoors with a bunch of cigarette smokers.

For me it's a mature smoking ballerina which reminds me of the perfumes I didn't like 10-15 years ago. Maybe it's because of my skin, because on my sister's it is totally different which is usual for us but still not charming.

I liked the sample of this in the store in Spain. So I bought a bottle. Okay, the creator's interpretation of a ballerina is one who has a pleasant entrance and then turns quiet, disappears, returns on stage, performs, to disappear again. I think this is why some posts here say it is moody. To some it is strange. But this might actually be the intention of the creator. At any rate, if you are used to strong, or distinguishable perfumes, this is not your perfume. If you simply want a moderate one, then this might work for you. It is spring as I write, and I just use it even if it appears and disappears.

A fresh, feminine rose, slightly fruity, powdery and mature at the same time, a timeless perfume that can be used in everyday life but also with old school DNA. It reminds me of my grandmother's perfumes and lipstick as well as the fresh perfume caressed by dew and sun on summer days. It's great! It is exactly what I wanted from a rose! I can wear it regardless of the season and context! It is with two other dear Aqua Allegoria traddafiers Rosa Rosa Guerlain as well as Rose Eau Fraiche Yves Rocher

This is actually not a bad evocation of ballet dancers, given that, surprisingly considering the nature of the art, they do often smoke. Or at least they used to, I expect many have switched to the vape now, but smoke they often did, to reduce appetite. Perfumes based on ballet always seem to be based on the ideas n image of ballet, rather than the concrete reality so full marks it has a subtle cigarette facet.
