Eucris Eau de Parfum

This is even more outstanding than its predecessor, Eucris EDT! English gothic medieval royalty, dark forests, old castles, and knights in a bottle. Geo F Trumper Eucris EDP carries essentially the same Eucris DNA as the original 1912 EDT version, with a few key differences that I'll get into in this review. What made me switch from Eucris EDT (1912 version) to Eucris EDP (2017 version) is the weak performance of the former and the great performance of the latter. Eucris is the magnum opus of the classic and venerable British wet shaving company, barbershop, and perfumer Geo. F. Trumper, based in London. Geo F Trumper Eucris EDP, from 2017, is a classy, elegant, refined, aristocratic, regal, luxurious, and gentlemanly scent, well known in the wet shaving community, but isn't too well known outside of it and isn't marketed or broadcasted across the Internet. Eucris is a "hearsay fragrance"; rumors about it and its scent profile make people interested in it. Eucris has a small but dedicated clientele, regardless of whether they’re into wet shaving or are just avid fragrance enthusiasts. What brought me to try and purchase Eucris EDT and Eucris EDP was my love for the Bond novels and Bond movies, since James Bond purportedly wore this scent in two Bond novels—"Diamonds Are Forever" and "On Her Majesty's Secret Service." Regardless if Bond wore Eucris or not in these two Bond novels, Eucris is a masterpiece with its own merits. Eucris EDP is a combination of Edwardian-era British royalty in a bottle, combined with an old classic English butch with an ultra-manly, no-nonsense barbershop feel to it that, in an olfactory way, probably resembles and belongs in a London setting of the late 1800s and early 1900s yet, interestingly, feels very timeless and up-to-date. The olfactory impression: a dark, thick, mysterious, inky, and surprisingly fresh and soapy; gothic (everything is relative); oakmoss; and old and rotten black currant combination, with sandalwood and floral notes lurking in the background. It smells like an old, ancient, other-worldly fantasy forest in a magical fairy tale, with old castles and knights in the background. It smells a little bit like wet or damp earth and tree moss in a dark gothic forest in the late afternoon, evening, or nighttime in the fall or winter. Eucris also has a slightly smoky, leathery undertone with something in it that reminds me of tobacco. Eucris’ bitter, slightly harsh and austere, butch, and ultra-virile aroma is probably attributable to the oakmoss, while the sweet and soft underpinnings are probably due to the black currant and sandalwood, while the fresh aroma is probably attributable to the floral notes. The ”old” or ”rotten” feel of the black currants is probably the key factor that adds to the darkness and mystery of this oakmoss-heavy scent. It’s probably the ”old” or ”rotten” black currant aroma mixed with oakmoss that lends Eucris its ancient and old other-worldly character. But the sandalwood and floral notes keep Eucris balanced, refined, elegant, civilized, and very gentlemanly. Eucris EDP is surprisingly elegant, refined, luxurious, upscale, aristocratic—regal even—in character. Yes, Eucris is one of the most regal-smelling fragrances I’ve put my nose on, next to Geo F. Trumper Eucris EDT and Penhaligon's Sartorial. Eucris’ black currant note makes it vaguely similar to the black currant note of Creed Aventus. Eucris’ olfactory impression makes me think of it as an absolute masterpiece—probably 1 of the 10 greatest men’s fragrances of all time, deserving a perfect olfactory score of 10/10. You might ask: WHAT'S THE FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EUCRIS EDT AND EUCRIS EDP? The fundamental difference between Eucris EDT (1912) and Eucris EDP (2017) is probably the following: 1) Eucris EDP, unlike Eucris EDT, has a massive projection and sillage for the first hour and lasts at least 10-12 hours on my skin. The EDT version has virtually no silage and projection at all and lasts for only 1-2 hours. 2) Eucris EDP smells more "smoky" and more intense, potent, and concentrated than EDT, but is equally dark and mysterious, ethereal, otherworldly, and spiritual as the EDT version. 3) The EDP version smells less gothic and less "gloomy" than EDT but is considerably more luxurious and worldly—more socially acceptable and friendly and less "creepy." Eucris EDP, in my humble opinion, tones down the "gothic" and "creepy" nature of EDT but amps up its dark, mysterious, regal refinement and sophistication and worldly luxurious opulence, which is the reason I prefer EDP over EDT. Occasions and settings: Eucris EDP is probably ideally worn on cold or semi-cold days, in spring, fall, and winter—primarily cold days, evenings, and nights in fall and winter. Definitely a suit and tie fragrance ideal for formal or semi-formal occasions and settings. Final score: A perfect and flawless 10/10. This is my signature scent and favorite fragrance.

If you are looking for something masculine, ageless and quite frankly immense, Eucris edp will give you all of that and so much more. It's so distinctive and a breath of fresh air from anything else available. I've seen and heard this fragrance described a suave, sophisticated, Gothic, gangster and many other things including references to James Bond. It's all and any of them. It's a throwback from another era that proves true quality and class does stand the test of time. Right, here we go. Initially, a wonderful, all encompassing spicy, mossy, aromatic and earthy blast will greet you. Accompanied seconds later by a deep blackcurrant, woodsy floral that just all blends together to create something stunning and unforgettable. The notes somehow entwine and change positions over the life of each wear, overall it remains reasonably linear though. A good thing in my book! It's hard to know how to describe the overall profile. It's somehow managed to be Dark and brooding whilst offering a beautiful freshness. It's a masterful creation. It's powerful, several sprays will stay prominent for many hours, offering anyone 3 metres plus an experience they will love or hate. You will leave a sillage a mile long and just as wide as you go about your business of demanding money with menaces or hunting down a criminal mastermind. It'll also happily do the boring stuff like going out to dinner or just effortlessly making you feel like an alpha at your work or leisure activities. It doesn't matter whether it's day or night, rain or shine either. Everyone will know you are around and pay their respects. 😂 I also use the Eucris skin food as a moisturiser, especially after a shave. Combine the two and feel your testosterone levels explode even more for the whole day, night and following morning. This stuff should come with a warning. Only opt for Eucris if you are a strong, willful person who knows what he (and she if you're tough enough. 😆)likes. Don't even contemplate wearing this juice if you are a softie, liberal or woke type. There are many unisex fragrances out there better suited to you. Just kidding....sort of! It's only available in 50 ml but be assured that this will last for a bit. A little goes a long way. My wife could detect this beauty from downstairs after I applied this potion on the level above! She loves it too and says it is a very manly scent, it really is. Seriously though, it's a divisive fragrance I think! If you have your heart set on soapy, modern products and are below 30 then you may not be ready for something this specialised and individual. Especially if you can't remember a time, say pre 90s when mossy, aromatic powerhouses were de rigueur for any well dressed fellow in the know. Perhaps your Dad or well groomed uncle, possibly even a dapper granddad wore something similar! Don't let that put you off though, this is timeless and shines even more in the modern world, you may well be surprised! I love all perfumery but my heart is truly with these kind of scents including C&S no.88, Rogues Mousse illuminae, Penhaligons Sartorial and Chanel Antaeus....yes, traditional old school barbershop, Fougeres and Chypre style fragrances. This sits right at the top of those genres. I can't recommend Eucris edp highly enough. If I had to pick one fragrance for the rest of my days it'd be out of the above selection and a bloody brawl would ensue. The offering from Geo F Trumper proving difficult to beat. Niche.....probably. Divisive.....definitely. Distinctive...... absolutely! For me a truly amazing scent.

I had scheduled an appointment for a shave and haircut at Geo Trumper on 1 Duke of York St when some business kept me in London over a weekend. I fully intended to pick up some of their Sandalwood cologne on the visit as it is lauded by many UK fragrance reviewers as a classic of old world British gentlemen’s scents. When my barber met me at the counter, I noticed his scent right away. I assumed he was wearing Sandalwood. It was an astonishing fragrance, and I was quite honestly shocked at how unique and extraordinary it was. However, after sitting in the chair, he told me it was Eucris, which I had heard about, but for which I had no particular enthusiasm. I can tell you now that I came to that particular dance excited about the wrong girl. Eucris is brilliant, and I bought the EDP. (I also bought the Sandalwood, but that is another story altogether.) I love fougere and barber-shop scents and own many including old and new. I love TF BDJ, Sartorial, and New York Intense, MDCI IB, but I can also appreciate the other two dozen in my collection that I consider either in this category or close cousins. That being said, Eucris stands apart from all of them, and in many ways, above or on par with all of them. I bought the EDP and it lasts and projects like mad. It is clearly a barbershop, but it also has that black current and a touch of cumin that makes it very much its own thing. Many people dislike cumin, and I get it. This cumin, however, reminds me of the cumin in Le Labo’s Rose 31. I always thought it was genius the way that fragrance used that note... as if putting a small neck tattoo on an otherwise conservative, well put together man in a suit. It is a way of saying, “hey, I am not your grandpa’s barbershop fragrance.” If you are confident and well put together yourself, you will make those around you follow this scent like the pied piper of fougeres. It stands with the best in my collection. How do more people not talk about this? If James Bond wore it in Casino Royal, then I can wear it to the office, a night out to dinner or just when I am home alone and want to be impressed by great British perfumery at its best. It is really that good.

For a fragrance that came out in 1912 it does evoke from the smell a sombre mood like a rainy day in Downton Abbey or something Mr Darcy would wear from Pride & Prejudice. The bottle is quite beautiful and ornamental with it's black and silver motif. The smell is fresh and soapy with lots of moss and musk. Out of this you can smell hints of blackcurrant, cumin, spices and light florals. The quality is very nice with vivid notes that smell Soapy smoky and ethereal. Everything is blended and balanced so that no one note overwhelms the other out of the oakmoss musk. Eventually the scent becomes cleaner with the musk becoming more prominent and the sandalwood showing up here and there. The fragrance is easy and very lovely to wear. Compared to the Edt the scent lasts over eight hours on my skin though it does stay close to you within half a arms length. It also smells more smooth and refined with some of the notes been more balanced. The cumin note has been dialled way back for example. All in all a very classy scent with a dark sombre mood suited for the gentlemen.

It's one of my favourite releases so far in 2018! After sampling it, I bought a bottle as soon as my preferred store had it in stock. It's a huge improvement on the cologne-like EdT, which only comes in a splash bottle. First impressions were "this stuff is potent!". The scent is an oakmoss overload. There is plenty of it in there. Others have commented how they "can be allowed to release a scent with so much moss in this day and age". I'm puzzled by this too but it is a welcome scent. To me it also comes across as "inky", dark, thick and mysterious, yet it maintains a certain freshness in the opening. The blackcurrant and cumin are both muted compared to its predecessor, but the association to Aventus is justified (to my nose) because of the oakmoss. 50ml of this though is ample as you won't need to spray a lot to get a good long-lasting scent into the evening. Two sprays max should do it. I personally have worn it to work a few times and its staying power is big. I've also worn it in the evening and can detect it on me well into the morning the next day

Eucris eau de parfum certainly brings back memories of the EDT I had a decade or two ago. While the aromas are very close, the experience is a bit different. Someone below suggested to layer the EDP with the EDT, and I understand that idea. The EDT gives a certain freshness that is simply unparalleled in my book. While it only last for maybe twenty minutes, it feels important as a part of the morning ritual, since the EDP feels as if it jumps right on what is the dry down of the EDT. All in all, the EDP is fantastic in its own right. As a standalone, it is well worth it if you find the EDT too short lived, or if you simply want "more". But I think it is only a matter of time before I add the EDT or (and...) the Eucris shaving soap, though. I loved that splash bottle on my shelf, at the time it also reigned supreme next to my shaving gear on the shelf. Mind you that this little bottle has very strong performance indeed, be careful. With the EDT I was used to splash on liberally, but one or two short sprays if the EDP keeps you going for the entire day.

I seriously was not going to buy any more colognes but after my last order at Profumeria Gini Roma I came across this wonder of Eucris. They put a sample in the package and what could I do.. Eucris gave me a huge flashback to my most beloved, long discontinued, Aramis Havana Reserva. This strong masculine confidence of a scent feels so fucking good. Indeed the Oakmoss.. but how? (Please DM if you know. I am curious) Restricted under skin sensitization concerns which must be bullshit for the majority though. I grew up in the eighties and all men that I knew then were drowning themselves in Oakmoss laden colognes. I never heard any of them whining about their skin becoming so sensitive due to using Antaeus, Aramis, Quorum, Loewe Esencia etc. All these masterpieces are around today but they are at best limping without that genuine and hefty dose of Oakmoss. I want it. Bring it back. It is sad to know that a whole new generation of men grew up without ever knowing the full experience of what those mens colognes should be.

After comparing Eucris EDT to Eucris EDP, I've concluded that they might be 85-95% similar, although I'll admit that's difficult to quantify since we aren't privy to the actual ingredients and formula behind the fragrances. Putting the aesthetics of the bottles and the performance of EDT and EDP aside, and focusing solely on the scent profile, I'd say that Eucris EDT is mainly driven by a winey and fruity black currant note supported by oakmoss, sandalwood and florals, while Eucris EDP is primarily an oakmoss scent supported by black currant, sandalwood and florals. Eucris EDP smells more inky, smoky, and earthy, while Eucris EDT smells more winey and fruity. But both of them are, in my humble opinion, perfect and flawless masterpieces. Geo F Trumper Eucris EDP never ceases to amaze me. It remains, in my opinion, one of the greatest men's fragrances of all time, regardless of price, niche or designer, old or new fragrances. It's still my signature fragrance. Final score: A perfect and flawless 10/10.

Finally the Parfum is back in stock and it was worth the wait. Been wearing this all day and is now my signature frag. It is quite uniquely elegant, masculine, classy and refined. The blackcurrant note hits me immediately and it is fabulously well executed, better even than the gorgeous raspberry top note with Tuscan Leather. It is markedly different to the EDT, which is just an after shave slap-on compared to this beauty. It has dried down to a musky, sexy, spicy sandalwood. My boyfriend is gonna love it, which is just as well because I want another bottle before it goes out of stock again. I think it can be worn in any situation and with any clothes and transcends the suited and booted-only cliche. This is just as good in battered leather, jeans 'n' boots, as in an expensive suit. I don't get much smokiness, and the moss and woodiness is finely carved into the whole. An absolute masterpiece. 10/10.

A broodishly dark, complex, and beautiful scent. I can imagine this being worn by Peter Steele of Type O Negative (circa October Rust album). It reminds me of a cross between Salvador Dali's Pour Home and Givenchy's Xeryus. Standout notes are black current and oak moss. The Lilly of Valley note is used effectively here, a great note to cut through and invigorate darker scent profiles. This is ideal to wear during chilly, rainy autumn days when the leaves on the ground are rotting. Score: 9 out of 10 Would I purchase a replacement bottle? Yes, and will purchase all the wet shaving products as well. This is really nice. My only compliant is that they don't sell it in a 100ml bottle.

Eucris EDP => Green, earthy, masculine. Smells surprisingly natural. Loved @MancFrank's review. And many thanks to @Peter The Fragrance Lover for steering to the EDP, performance is indeed strong on this excellent fragrance. The earthiness brings a formality and I can see this going with a smart suit or black tie. Sure this is good but is not an everyday reach. When I first sprayed I was reminded of Floris 1962, which if you like this sort of thing is a brighter, less formal scent. So Floris 1962 by day, Eucris by night? 4/5 PS I could 100pc believe Bond might wear this. Dark, moody, dangerous even. But Floris 89 - more suited to Blofeld's cat surely!

Finally a spicy barbershop without citruses. For a long time I had craved mossy sandalwood and spice and that’s exactly what you get here. The cumin is notable but not overpowering but those sensitive to it might not like this one, IMO it’s what makes the scent tie in with your skin, just the right amount of cumin. The EDT smells great too but the performance is not worth it. EDP is steep at $215AUD for 50ml but longevity is pretty good.

clean/soapy sophisticated Barbour shop scent that smells like it could have come out yesterday. the is a radox bath salt type of scent in this that i can't get enough of. the fruity note lingers very long. This is in the same family as Creed Aventus,Dior sauvage. nothing is really dark about this but strong and lasts a whole day.

It's 1888, Whitechapel and you're in need of a scent to mask the fetid stench of your misdeeds - but Eucris isn't formulated for another twenty four years. Damn. Better retreat to the shadows, then. Yes, it's everything you've heard and more. Women will be mesmerised and men will fear you. Cloak and top hat optional.

Heavenly older gentleman barbershop fragrance that is unique and timeless. The Oakmoss and spices in this are perfect! 10/10 fragrances like this one are becoming endangered species with the regulators lurking about because one out of 1000 people get a skin rash from Oakmoss.

Eucris EDP: I dig everything about it, from the one word name to the minimalist bottle. It's now my signature scent. Not a prolific review and there are better ones below but it's all I have to say about it. 10/10.

This is expensive, but worth every penny. If you want a rich herbal fragrance with a hint of oak moss that will last on clothes for 24 hours, this is it. The best of British.

While in Bologna, I stopped by Virginia1921 where I came across the Régime des Fleurs line for the first time. I liked the Green Vanilla so much that I sprayed some on my skin and left. Eucris, which I had heard of but never given a chance, was also there. I must have been influenced by the reviews describing it as dark, gothic, and ultra-masculine, because I just sniffed the bottle and moved on to the next one without even spraying it on a strip. Anyway, Green Vanilla reminded me of By Kilian’s now-discontinued Amber Oud, so I went back and bought a 10 ml bottle. While I was there, the helpful girl wanted to give me a decant, so I asked for Eucris. This morning, on a sunny spring day, I left the house after spraying one spritz on each side of my chest. Thankfully, my spouse didn’t say it smelled outdated, which they usually do with most scents. It had a beautiful opening and has gone on for six hours without fading. The cumin note is the same as in Kurkdjian's Lumière Noire Pour Homme. I'm honestly surprised by the reviews. It’s not that dark or ultra-masculine at all. It's a wonderfully clean, natural smelling fragrance that could even be considered contemporary. It may shake the throne of my 2019 release Antaeus. I can't decide which is better. Except summer, it is suitable for three seasons.

Finally got to try this recently. Perhaps curiously, I feel neither exalted nor disappointed. Relieved perhaps. Since the EdT has been my signature scent 'forever' it was my fear the parfum would tear apart all I've held dear for so long. I needn't have worried. The parfum is fabulous. But I won't be switching from the original EdT. The two are sufficiently different. The opening is flatter; less bright. The black current note is relatively muted. There is a definite density to other notes. As it settles and warms on the skin it actually approaches the EdT's dry down. Not noticeably longer lasting. The 'Eucris signature' that made the EdT so compelling is still present. So, they are not the same but definitely close. I'm still sided firmly with the EdT (which seems less gothic). Can't quite see how Trumper justifies the cost of the parfum. But many will come to love this and understandably so.

Has anyone else tried layering this with the EdT? I think it becomes more mellifluous and harmonious for it.

This initially struck me as a more feminine leaning fragrance because of the tart, red-like fruitiness and musk. As it progresses on the skin, it carries an austere kind of presence lending it to the man or woman of similar lifestyle. I can see it being worn by someone in the screenplays of “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” or “A Christmas Carol(1984)”. Better yet, if Narnia had a smell this might be it. With a bit more thought now given to this fragrance, I’d change my emoji up top there to a smile if I could. Beautifully done. For those who love oak moss, this has the greatest oak moss base that will stay on your clothing for days. This also does similarly to what Roja’s Diaghilev does in the base and dry down, not surprisingly comparing their ingredients.

An intense scent that, if you are unprepared, will rape your nose in a similar way to fresh paint. The dry-down is better than the initial spray, but I simply cannot get over the longevity of this product. Insane. I sprayed it 2-3 times on my neck and wrists and I was smelling it 12 hours later at almost the exact same strength. Would not recommend this for everyone, but it is a unique scent nonetheless which some people are bound to love.

Old fashioned. Dark. Gothic. Mystical. These are the words I would use to describe this scent. It's similar to Azzaro Onyx, but the Azzaro is more playful, while this Eucris screams reserved. The composition is herbal, smoky, and mossy in the best possible way.

in the drydown he gets better and better. the shocking initial fecal opening exceeded. becomes an excellent shaving soap rich in oak moss. similar to vintage quoros for me but sweeter. not gothic as many describe it though.

certainly old school, with an almost urinary-sweetish-ammonia-like, acidic and animal-like background. no gothic perfume. sometimes fecal. luckily I took a sample. completely rejected. 2/10 excellent performance.

Barbershoppy and not my style at all...bought as a blind buy for cheap.

i'm in my 30s and this is my the biggest disappointment yet, the oakmoss over shadows all of the other notes here for me and i feel some sort of skin irritation of from it. this cost about 1300kr / 130$ for 50ml in Norway and this scent is sadly the most overpriced one i have ever blind bought. i really enjoy my classic's but this is most old man in the most negative way i have smelled.do not start with this one if you are eager to checkout the James Bond Scents. And lastly I don't know what Johns_Nose is sniffin', but it ain't Eucris EDP. (Respectfully disagree.) Floris No.89 is really good and most people will enjoy that one way more than this.

I was able to pick up a bottle of this from a US based shaving supplier after being out of stock for a long while. This is everything I wanted my latest bottle of the EDT to be. Box lists actual oakmoss (evernia prunasteri) and not tree moss (evernia furfuracea) so that got me excited before even opening up and spraying. I'm assuming they managed this by using low atranol oakmoss, or they have some grandfathered Trumper back room deal with the IFRA ;) I haven't worn on skin yet, only sniffed on paper, so I'll keep it brief and just say this smells divine. Other reviewers saying this is like the drydown of the EDT from the jump are accurate. Crispy, natural, green oakmoss straight away. The first blast almost has a coniferous feel to it, much less soapy, and floral notes turned down from the EDT. Spice has more presence and blends amazingly with the moss. It just feels much more robust, and leans heavier on on the earthier and smokier facets of the EDT. I'd just like to say all the reviews on this have something to glean, but Peter The Fragrance Lover really lays it out comprehensively. You could just skip straight to that and ignore me here. Excited to really wear this and bask in it's splendor. Time will tell on the nuances and performance, but I'm very jazzed to wear this on it's own, and also to potentially pump up some vintage reformulations with a healthy dose of moss. Sample both if possible, but I would feel confident picking this up blind if you like the EDT but want more of the dark, earthy, oakmoss. This delivers on exactly what I was looking for.

This is a modern iteration of the old gentlemanly gothic fragrance by Geo F. Trumper known as Eucris - purportedly worn by James Bond, and initially created over a century ago - of which I used to own the eau de toilette, until I got this eau de parfum, which in my opinion is superior in all aspects. In comparison to the EDT, the EDP has less of a sparkly blackcurrant opening and smells instead like the drydown of the EDT but from the get-go. So it's a sombre mix of notes to my nose such as oakmoss (LOTS of oakmoss in this), blackcurrant, cumin, coriander, and musk. In the drydown, the blackcurrant becomes much more prominent and sweetens up the fragrance somewhat (though it's very dry still). It's a dark, austere traditional gentleman's cologne and makes me think of rainy days and gothic architecture. I also love pairing this with the $5 perfume oil known as al-Rehab Dakar (a clone of Drakkar Noire); they oddly work really well together. Projection is moderate, just like in the EDT, while longevity is significantly improved at at least 6 hours strong projection. Overall, it's a one of my favourite fragrances of all time by a British house that still preserves their long-standing fragrance tradition. 4.5/5

Nice spicy-fruity barbershop scent. Strong. More on the masculine side. Popped into the shop to buy a bottle recently. I would say it's decent, a worthwhile addition to any bathroom cabinet, but it really reminds me of Floris no.89. Remarkably similar to me. That's not a bad thing, I would say Eucris is a little more fruity, 89 is a little more spicy. I think some of the reviews of this one completely over compliment it. Reviewers saying it's "dark" or "something a vampire would wear" are all talking nonsense. It's simply a top tier barbershop smell. Compare with Floris no.89 and maybe Acqua di Palma Essenza. Perfect for after a shave when you want to feel a bit more clean and masculine at work. I like it, it's in my regular circulation.

This is a quintessential British offering bursting with masculinity. Ian Flemming had James Bond wearing the EDT in the novels. There’s no other way to describe the EDP than Gothic. It is beautiful, dark, brooding, strong, and even menacing and savage. The Werewolves of London wear this. It’s woody, mossy, spicy, powdery, and animalic right from the opening. Its longevity, projection, and sillage are monstrous. I cannot see 99% of women wearing this. It’s the scent of a musky, sweaty brooding man — whose sweat is frankly beautiful. You can classify this one with Gucci Guilty Absolute and TF Noir. This is an absolutely positively unsafe blind buy.

It's raining as I spray this on my skin. It suits the day perfectly: melancholy, brooding, contemplative. There's a density to the spices and moss and a juiciness to the blackcurrant that really complements this weather. There below is a ground cover comprised of lily of the valley, the raindrops opening up their balm in the humid air. Gray skies, gray scents, a man who has seen a lot, has many tales to tell, wisdom, experience. Probably not a clubbing or date night scent, wink. I can almost hear a distant Westminster Quarters through the rain when I get wafts of this. Eucris EDP is introspective majesty. 9.5/10

If you love Oakmoss i urge you to give this one a try. I have no idea how this can be produced in 2019, i am just thankful it is. Cumin and Sandalwood create a certain dustiness which counteracts the juicy black currant but all in all the formulation highlights one thing only: Oakmoss. This is gothic victorian perfection in a bottle. Werner Herzog's Nosferatu is alilve in this fluid form. Only Van Cleefs "Pour Homme" paints this picture even more precisely. As a plus, Eucris' longevity and projection are phenomenal. I am planning to get myself a back up bottle.

I have tried floris 89 many times, and i don ́t feel like Bond, when i spray Eucris i am Bond. This is so old school and i love it, a soapy and almost dirty aura its haunting. Masterpiece!

Very nice, dark green: take the big part of " Francesco Smalto pour homme" , with a touch of recklessness of "Azzaro pour Homme" and the shine of "Sung Homme ( or Quorum, yes) . Et voilà.

Fall Winter Scent: 6/10 It's mossy, bit dirty really masculine and dark. Oakmossy. Not really my cup of tea, but its not bad. Sillage 5/10 Longevtiy 7,5/10
