When I First Spray This On My Skin It Actually Reminds Me Of Another Expensive Perfume I Own/Love & Wear "Quelques Fleurs Royals edp" By Houbigant As It Certainly Opens With The Same Juicie Sweet Orange/Citrus Note!! I Personally Don't Smell Any Red Berries At All In It Which Isn't Such A Bad Thing!! & It's Only As It Wears On Your Skin That It Very Much Then Changes & Takes On It's Own Identity,Very Aromatic With A Subtle Lavender Aroma!! Deffo Could Be Unisex Without A Doubt!! Priced At £14.95 I Honestly Can't Believe Just How Good It Really Is!! & The Bottle It Comes In - "Absolutely Stunning" Heavy Glass,Rippled At The Rear So It Really Catches The Light & It Really Sparkles Like Pure Crystal!! I Honestly Never Heard Of George's Rech Until I Did A Little Research Of My Own & Found Out That Princess Eugenie Actually Wear's & Loves This Very Perfume!! & It Is The Creation Of French Fashion Designer George's Rech Who Has Quite A Few Different Perfumes!! So You Learn Something New Everyday!! The longevity Seem's To Be Excellent Too As Some Six Hour's Later It Has Now Settled Into The Most Beautiful Aromatic,Lavender,Creamy/Milky Espresso Coffee,With Earthy Patchouli,Woodsy,Warm Spicy Floral,Expensive Smelling Perfume That I Absolutely Adore!! (Love Any Perfume With Patchouli in it) Will Deffo Wear This For Another Few Day's & Then Up-Date etc But So Far So Good!! & Think I'll Treat Myself To Another Bottle Before The Price Goes Up!!

This is my second Georges Rech scent and I'm enjoying it as much as, maybe more than, Oriental Dream. I've just got this today mind, so it's a bit early to judge, but on first impressions I think it could prove to be a reliable, comfortable aromatic semi-gourmand. I love these under-the-radar perfumes; no hype or marketing to sway me this way or that, just a blind-buy based on a few reviews and, admittedly, an attractively low price. But it's becoming my experience now that GR fragrances are, to my inexperienced nose at least, very good. I'm 5 hours into wearing this one and it's a pleasant skin-scent now - a soft, warm, creamy, light patch. Prior to this it's been a lovely, well-blended, lavender/coffee/patch. The patch is light throughout and never harsh or dry, not too earthy either. Rather, to me, it's on a par with the patch in Angel Muse without being so prominent. The lavender/coffee combo is great too and obviously most distinguishable in the first hour or so when, after an initial juicy orange note, a rounded lavender (a la Occitan) emerges, soon to be enhanced seamlessly by 'medium-roast' coffee i.e. not too dark or bitter. All this before the notes finally meld into the aforementioned creamy vanilla skin-scent. Overall,to me, it's a completely unisex gourmandish aromatic that ends up in a creamy-wood drydown. Really nice.

It is a wonderful fragrance. I discovered it thanks to the similarity to Belle EdP and of course I would prefer to wear the original (I miss the note of incense in Alexandrie...) but as Belle is discontinued... But Alexandrie is a very good substitute. It's warm and comforting but still fresh (red berries!), playful and still naive in a good way. I only take one spray, as little as I can, dab in on my forearms and enjoy the rest of the day. But I usually don't use any large volume of a fragrance a day, i. a. because my family are not any fragrance lovers. To me it's a fragrance for a cold, grey weather, it will give you a strengthening and loving hug.

ALEXANDRIE MON AMOUR is an opulent, sweet-oriental and elegant scent. I found it at TK-Maxx and bought it mostly because of the coffee note in it...I can't detect here a very strong espresso note; I find here a sweet creamy coffee mixed with vanilla, some flowers and woodsy notes. This fragrance is perfect for cold Winter days...It's not easy to find, so I'm very glad that I have it in my collection :) The nose behind this fragrance is Vincent Ricord. Edit: It reminds me a lot of Belle en Rykiel (EdP) by Sonia Rykiel :)

This is the exact same note pyramid as Belle en Rykiel minus the incense note. I used to wonder how perfumers could sign their names to dupes without embarrassment. I mean...that's like plagiarism, no? But....i now appreciate it! I owned many bottles of both Belle and Trussardi Inside. They were cheapies i picked up. But now? They fetch over a hundred bucks for a bottle! Not doing it. Im glad i stumbled upon this scent....because at 20 bucks a pop...i can have what i want again and not pay an outrageous price.
