this is the oud version of al athal perfume which i posted a review about as well they can be used on their own or in conjunction if you don't like oud acords then go for the broun athal don't go for the black oud athalthis line is pretty new its made by chalhoub group who opened many of the luxury goods boutiques in dubai like chanel gucci dior louise vuiton and others so they decided to make their own luxury perfume insense body products line that are a cups between traditional perfumery with an utter modern touch for those who like to wear their orientals with a twist and as seen in many of the mainstream perfumeries trend of making oud or super oriental perfumes when you enter their shop they have a special room for testing incense and they have a juce jungle where you can have pure perfume oils by the tola and each of the 7 main perfumes have about ten complementing products from body oils to shpwer gels creams bakhour insese hair mists even room sprays and other products with the same smell their products are of great quality and are great for layering and using in conjunction with their body line as well as with other perfumes they have a modern approach to mid eastern perfumery adding a finer frenchier touch as for this perfume its for the oud lovers it's a woody smoky oud with no fecal or animalic or barnyard accords it's a clean straight cut spicy woody oud with a modern touch it has hints of musk and amber and mastic like cleanliness to it its unisex clean and dries to a wonderful clean oud accord it's more of a refined oud with respect to heritage yet modern in a way it's not dated and its not like the cremier more natural ouds its for the modern generation who still wants to wear oud but in a cleaner more refined manner the have 14 perfumes so far 7 of which have stronger oud accord come in black bottles and 7 of lighter ones that are suitable for everyday use and the entire line has matching body products and incense the house was created with the idea of layering their perfumes so you can mix and match so many different perfumes and oils and incense which is amazing and customary used in that region of the world but they have made it in a modern way which appeals to the younger generation as well as to non oud users and people from around the world who are not used to the heavier oud accords
