Ghost Man

The star of the Ghost Man show is anise, consistently and prominently without being obtrusive or overbearing. Rose adds support from the background. Various other notes in the profile may come and go and your nose may or may not pick up on their presence. Versatile, casual or elegant, I've worn this to the cinema for a matinee on a warm spring afternoon, and more dressed up in the evening. If one MUST compare Ghost Man to anything, it is NOT Le Male. Not even a little bit. Not at all. Not one iota. Perhaps the most reminiscent smell would be the OG Lolita Lempicka Au Masculin from 2000. If you find a bottle of this anywhere, BUY IT. Do not doubt whether or not you should, just do it.

I had this years ago and was devastated when it was discontinued as I loved it so much I've spent years looking for a replacement that smells as good and I managed to stumble across a fragrance that is 99.9% the same in every way PERRY ELLIS 360 WHITE it's so much the same I've already orderd a back up bottle and for the price it's even worth a blind buy you will not be disappointed. People say perry ellis smells like le Male there close I wont argue but it's more like ghost man go get a bottle guys

My all time fav. If Le Male and Black XS were to have a hot passionate night together one them give birth to this lol

Nose Note #479 It has a ton of clove and anise which smell like cinnamon. So much that if I smell it upclose I start coughing and my throat is itching. I'm not sure why it's reminding people of Le Male. It has no lavender, no mint, and it's not nearly as sweet, and this one has a lot of rose, but not like Portrait of a Lady or Toy Boy. Rose acts as a support to clove+anise combo here. I bought an old official free sample and maybe it has changed a bit, but performance is just about average. Very limited sillage, a skin after about 1 hour... But stays on skin for long. It's good, but performance is bad. 7/10, good, but there's something missing for me

So the comparisons of this fragrance to Le Mâle are valid however, Le Mâle is one of the farthest projecting fragrances ever created. This fragrance is a lot less powdery and does not project nearly as much, in fact it's more of a skin scent than anything else. As far as the smell goes, I think this favors 212 Sexy, another fragrance that closely resembles Le Mâle. Where 212 Sexy incorporates a stronger citrus note up front and a less powdery vanilla note at the end when compared to Le Mâle, this is just less powdery and more sugar-sweet.

Rose and musk - very harmoniously.

I am also going to jump on the bandwagon with the JPG LeMale similarity. I would say they are in the same family but where LeMale is a powerhouse scent which goes for days, Ghost is as musky and sweet with that all too familiar SEXINESS, but it’s somewhat lighter with a lot more Anise. Even though mint and bergamot are listed as notes I would say they are pretty much non-existent, there is no citrusy or freshness to this smell. It is all about the more sensual notes. The lasting power is nowhere near as good as Le Male so I would suggest this if you prefer your scents lighter. It doesn’t project as far either. I usually wear this at night in cooler weather. I like Ghost overall, but as Le Male was worn by SO many boys in my school when I was growing up it just feels all too familiar and I feel like it’s been done before. I’m always looking for something different in men’s fragrances and if this was released before LeMale I would have gone crazy for it!!! This was a gift so I’m keeping it but for now I’m just trying to finish it up.

Glad i still own my 100ml bottle of this, have to save it for special occasions these days though. Its pretty unique, i wouldnt say its similar to Le Male. It has a powdery base that reminds me of Bvlgari BLV Pour Homme but with a sweet tonka / orange / rose vibe. Unfortunately performance is moderate as it dries down to a skin scent fairly quickly.

I absolutely love Ghost Man! For me it`s unisex fragrance. I do agree that Ghost Man is quite a feminine in some ways, but I think it`s a better, sweeter and less powdery version of Le Male (more wearable). It`s sounds fantastic on the skin. Totally agree it's a lot like Le Male, but somehow a nicer fragrance without the powdery end, if you can get over the sweetness, which i found initially a bit too feminine, but after a while just seems to edge it way back to a mans fragrance. Got a few compliments with this one off the ladies lol

I have a a 100ml bottle if anyone is interested ☺️To strong for me it’s unused as I also have 2 1.7ml as well lovely strong frag last for hours and hours
