Purity

This was love at first sniff! And I rarely say that about a perfume. Just happened to test this in Boots as I'd asked the assistant if they had a tester of Burberry Her Blossom and they didn't, but she said Purity was similar. I can't vouch for that, but I can say this is absolutely beautiful, soft, airy, and delightful. It's a gently sweet, fresh, creamy floral with a warm drydown, and the touch of marshmallowy meringue is gorgeous and not over-sugared at all. Pretty decent sillage and lasting power, and you can get this discounted in many stores, so excellent value. Feminine but not too girly so would suit any age. Have ordered a decant (trying to cut down on full bottles till I've used up a few I have on the go!), though I imagine I'll be I'll be ordering a bottle in the not-too-distant future ;)

Just used up my last drops of this and I’m quite sad! Really really liked this one. I received it as a Christmas gift and was hooked from the first sniff! Clean, calming, pure, pleasantly floral and sweet but just the right amount of everything so it’s not overly sickly. Just lovely. As someone said below, quite lilac-y smelling but no single note stands out to me, the scent just works as a whole. A nice casual daytime go-to but I also used to spray before going to sleep as I found it quite calming. Lasted a couple of hours on my skin and clothes, would catch nice hints of it when moving around. The bottle is pretty with a blush pink cap and crackly frosted glass effect. I would buy this again if I found it at a good price. It would make a safe gift for someone as well.

I can’t get over how nice this is and how well it lasts for an edt. I don’t tend to buy any edt apart from la nuit tresor as I find they are too weak but this out performs many more expensive perfumes. It starts out fruity in a tropical way and very sweet also..... after 1-2 hours it’s very sweet and gorgeous. I got it for £23 for 100ml in Superdrug just because it was cheap but I went back for another one. I’m not usually a ghost girl most my perfumes are Chanel or dior but this one has become one of my most favourite!!

A really nice clean scent. Not laundry detergent clean but pleasant clean. The opening reminds me of my childhood. Sometimes I accompanied my mum to the hairdresser where they used these huge can of hairsprays. The dry down on clothes smells a bit like baby powder, on skin I can smell the violet. My only issue is the longevity. On skin it lasts for an hour, on clothes it is clearly detectable for 3-4 hours but then it is just the weak powdery scent. I will try it when the weather gets warmer. Maybe it will last longer.

Someone got me the set with a mini years ago and I never really wore it. Last year I started wearing it out of curiosity and now I have 100ml of it. I think it’s amazing. They achieved the comfort of a ‘clean’ scent with warmth of someone you live attached to it: it’s clean yes but it’s not like a disinfectant. It’s hard to explain for me but it’s like a sweet cleanliness with warmth. You can smell the freshness of a pineapple I suppose with the sugar giving it brightness. I love this perfume

just ran through my bottle not knowing about the discontinuation and fuck... this was lovely. very easy to wear during the day in 15+ degree clear weather, even as someone who’s not a fan of powdery and more feminine scents. i will miss this dearly.

I really like this. I smell a lot of lilac. It's quite sweet, soft and demure. Reminds me of fragrances like Gucci Guilty, SF Emozione and Trussardi My Name.

This is such a creamy, clean scent, can be worn on any occasion- stayed on my skin for 10+ hours! For the price it's at that's fantastic performance

Purity I'd say is the right name for this, the colour and the bottle design also hint to something very light, ethereal and carefree. I wouldn't really say this is a gourmand, its sweet but not in a cloying sticky way, its more fruity floral with a powdery sweetness, pineapple, violet and freesia are the stars of the show with the violet adding the powdery sweetness, pineapple and freesia give a fresh, airy feel whilst musk and sandalwood ground the base, I detect some citrus in the opening but its mainly pineapple and freesia that I can detect on my skin, I'm really pleasantly surprised with this one, it'll be a lovely spring/summer scent, office friendly and perfect for casual wear, it does to a degree remind me a little of Cacharel Amor Amor, I'm wondering if its the mixture of fruits and florals, but unlike Amor Amor, it does not have that sticky, jammy, sweet feel which can become cloying. I do like this one, and I like its airy, casual nature, but, I think 18 year old me would have loved it if this was on the market back then, I actually think though this would work really well on anyone of any age. Silage and longevity are good, 7 hours from 4 light spritzes and a soft silage, May possibly repurchase this in the future, its lovely!

What a lovely, clean feminine fragrance. I don't usually vibe with florals, but I bought this for my nana for Christmas and just couldn't resist a sniff. First of all, the frosted bottle is very elegant, and it was really good value. I bought a gift set with bath salts and a pearl hair clip for £20! Purity opens up with sweet sugar crystals, creamy florals and a hint of meringue on a bed of slightly woody sandalwood. It's very light, fresh and pretty. I really like it! Reminds me of soapy skin right after a shower. Or like a warm, fluffy bathrobe at a boujie spa. Great for a blind buy. I can't imagine anyone disliking this fragrance, it's very sweet, fluffy and perfect for casual outings and daytime wear.

just repurchased my second bottle because i've been missing it! it's a cooling sweet fresh breath of air and i absolutely love it, it's mental how long this lasts for an edt (but im not complaining) and it's a compliment grabber because you just smell so clean. amazing i hope they never discontinue this

Lovely - clean, fluffy, soft scent that's a good portrayal of a pure innocence. It is musky in winter, with sweet meringue and sandalwood, and the floral-fruity blend is thorough - it gives a clean, pure edge to the scent during wintertime without any particular note being obvious. Very very nice :)

A simple soft vanilla musk fragrance with a slight fruity tang and the tiniest pat of butter.

This was a real let down for me, it isnt completely disgusting but it has a real kick in the background that is pungent, a sort of mix between pungent peach and pineapple (even though i cant see peach listed) and it's really unpleasant, on top of that I can smell a hint of wood..but not in the normal woody perfume note sense, as in actual wood, like wood shavings that you would use in a hamster or rabbit cage..Maybe this is just me but I actually find it a really wierd bordering unpleasant scent which I really didn't expect from the notes..the notes looked so yummy!, plus I like the majority of Ghost fragrances, The Original was one of my favourites years ago until it started smelling differently on me and the peach started taking over on my skin and smelt to loud and sickly, but the the majority I really like or have done in the past. Going by the notes I was expecting something completely different, something along the lines of ysl paris or even Parissienne or ombre rose or versace baby rose jeans, or Trussardi My Scent, even though all four are more expensive perfumes I was hoping and expecting that it would be in the same sort of vein, I.e soft and whimsical but with a hint of pineapple, almost like a violet/rose makeuppy/soft scent with a little added kick from the pineapple, don't get me wrong this is soft..but not in a pleasant way to my nose, it's a mish mash of just plain wierd notes to me and it doesn't smell "pure" like the name suggests, or atleast in the way that I associate what pure would smell like. It could just be me it really could lol but I bought a full bottle of this instead of a sample like I usually would because I was almost certain that I would fall in love with this or at the least like it but I emptied half the bottle to give it a fair chance and with every spray I was just totally put off by it. I've just noticed that someone mentioned that they think it smells a little like Trussardi My Name and I have to respectfully disagree, thats actually another one that's in the category that I had hoped this would be in though..It could well just be my skin so this is just my opinion, there's a possibility that for some reason certain notes aren't working well on me, but I would suggest trying a sample of this first instead of spending on a full bottle x

One of my favourites from Ghost, Purity lives up to its name. It's a soft, white, fluffy cloud of a scent, surrounded by clear blue skies. It is sweet, but not overly so. Not a cloying sweetness, but a gentle, clean softness. The touch of sweetness takes it out of the laundry detergent box, where it would probably sit otherwise. Purity is a genuinely beautiful fragrance at a very low price point. I think Ghost really under charge for their perfumes. A couple of spritzes of this (and most of their others) will last on your clothing for more than a week, and this smells even better the next day. There have been a few times where I wore something on a purity day and hung it back in the closet afterwards, only to find a week later that it still smells incredible. I like to layer this with Banana Republic's Malachite - a gorgeous, unusual watery floral. Together they create a dreamy ethereal magic that I haven't been able to match so far. I would like to try layering this with Ghost Deep Night too, as I think that could create a similar vibe. Purity has earned a permanent place in my collection and I hope they don't discontinue it anytime soon. Purity works at any time of the day and anytime of the year, and in any weather. In winter, it's warm, comforting and cosy, and in summer, these beautiful wafts of soft sweetness surround you every time the slightest breeze hits.

Light, fresh scent with a creamy sweetness to it. There's a fruity kick at the beginning because of the pineapple and mandarin, it reminded me of sun lotion. It's a pleasant, wholesome scent "Purity" is a perfect name. I love the original Ghost, but this is more suitable for because it's less girly. Sillage and longevity great.

This smells just like the English countryside! The pineapple top note is nice and the overall performance, of this fragrance, is really good. Unfortunately, it's not for me as its very strong and I was hoping for something softer. Glad I tested it first.

Soft fluffy meringue, musk, violets, sandalwood, very dreamy, feminine, cosy and warm..I wore it to say goodbye farewell to my hamster a couple of years back, I found it to be very fitting and comforting 😊

This is pure nostalgia. To my nose, it is identical to the discontinued Versace Baby Rose Jeans. Fluffy yet sharp, cosy yet fresh, a musk reminiscent of the outdoors, Ghost Purity is airily sweet.

Gorgeous pure smelling fruity floral! So soft and feminine; so well blended with the pineapple and violets, and the other fruits and florals with the cosy musk drydown, lovely 😍
