The opening of Donna EDT is like a bouquet of spicy Casablanca lilies, warm, buttery, and intoxicating, with green-galbanum highlights and foliage flourishes. The coriander that follows reminds me of freesias, and then a carnation carves out space for its thrown in the heart. A pregnant pause has me believing I am really smelling flowers in my room. I love when a perfume can trick me. Now there are some ylang ylang and jasmine sneaking in from around the corner. Later in its development, dark, fleshy fruits and woody vanilla eclipse the floral explosion like a supernova. This is another that falls in the seductive florals category, and as always, it is unequivocally unisex. Those who have a yen for fragrances like Must de Cartier, Fendi Asja, Krazy Krizia, but want an orgiastic floral taking the reins, this one will have you begging for mercy.

Very very close to Gem by Van Cleef & Arpels. Gem being my signature and being discontinued, finding GMV Donna is like a miracle happening. I was ready to spend way too much money on an uncertain buy of vintage Gem from Canada, just before deciding trying this for a relative bargain. And it really hits the spot. 50 mls of bliss ahead of me i’m counting myself a happy lady. My daughter who is now 13 recently said, smelling Gem, she thought that was my body odour, having me smell of Gem since she was a baby, didn’t know there was perfume involved... nice to be able to recreate that experience again for her.

Lovely! Deep and rich, D. opens up slowly to reveal layers of spice and floral notes. Unisex, good performance and a beautiful presentation, D. is a delight.

This is beautiful! Definitely get the carnation.. it’s peppery, fleshy smelling I don’t know how to describe it.. it’s very good!

This is a warm rich fragrance, make you smile. Beguin green, followan explosion of flowers, muguets and full spring in Italy ones, ends with honeyed vanilla and dark woody notes. To me, in some way, smell like a Giant white lily. A bunch of lilies! Sunny Deep scent. As fragrance this was a bit different from the others when it came out.
