Bianco Oro

I sprayed this right before going to bed and I absolutely adore it. I’ll admit that 10 seconds after spraying it smelled strange, but that transformed quickly. The first few seconds were nice and after a few minutes it turned quite lovely and comforting. Nearly an hour later and I feel calm and relaxed. Maybe that’s the powdery note (doesn’t smell like baby wipes to me). As another reviewer stated, smelling directly on the skin isn’t as beautiful as the projection several inches from your face. I think I could wear this every night!! Definitely getting a full bottle so I can wallow in this scent. For reference, I typically don’t gravitate to mainstream fragrances and enjoy scents that are a little out of the norm and unexpected. Edit: Two months later and I still wear this post shower before bed. I’ve never worn perfume to bed before because it is usually too much scent for bedtime for me, but this is so soft and beautiful. It truly lifts my mood and is calming at the same time. I find it powdery and a little peppery. Definitely unisex...I’m female and don’t like overly girly scents.

My absolute favorite from this house so far!! This perfume is so intriguing, every time i smell it i need to check the notes again because i forget what's in it. It's so weird but good weird, and yummy weird. To me, it's spicy and sweet, almost honey like? I get strong spices/pepper, the tiniest bit of honey, a teeny bit of caramel, sweet creamy woods. All enveloped in this vaguely herbal or aromatic haze. I understand that vanillas and lactonic perfumes are trending at the time of writing this and i love that Bianco Latte went viral because i want this house to be successful but i feel like Bianco Oro is underrated and slept on.

This gotta be one of my favourite perfumes of all time. To me it's not a peppery rose at all. I can't really pick up on the rose much. It starts out very peppery right away when you spray it (it's close to making me sneeze if I smell it up close before it gets the chance to dry), but it doesn't take long until it develops into this heavenly, soft and comforting pepper cream. It's incredibly creamy on me, bordering lactonic. Most of Giardini di Toscana's perfumes are beasts on me, but this one is more soft and fluffy with its creaminess, so I feel like this is the perfect every-day perfume.

I love this. It’s peppery (you should really like pepper if you want to try this) and woody with a certain dark and mysterious vibe surrounding a rose and patchouli combo. It's warm and comforting but I wouldn't say it can't be worn on a summer evening. I don’t have another fragrance that relaxes me more. To me, this is also perfectly unisex and pretty affordable. I haven't smelled anything else like it and have been pleasantly surprised in layering it with other fragrances, e.g. some heady florals. Fast becoming a signature scent.

Tonight my intention was to wear Bianco latte but I accidentally chose Bianco Oro from my sample collection and sprayed it first without looking . Once I realized I sprayed the wrong one I decided to layer it with bl just to give it a try. I am quite surprised and am quite impressed. It is a very beautiful fresh spice rose inspired caramel latte with a touch of powdery musk that in my opinion has created a very unique fresh gourmand fragrance for the summer!

This fragrance is so unique, spicy but also warm and comforting! I’d love to wear it daytime and nighttime or even for a cozy evening at home. Because this scent is so unique and special (nothing commercial at all!) I can understand this is not for everyone. I’d prefer to smell it from a distance, when I put my nose on my skin it’s too harsh and peppery but from a distance (so how people smells you) it’s just perfect 👌🏼

This is so gorgeous, whenever my boyfriend wears this I can’t stop smelling him. It smells like a clean, rich man. This is so fresh and woody, almost like pencil shavings but in the best way possible. I think this is an all year round smell, it’s peppery so you can’t go wrong and it’s never cloying or intoxicating but still has beast mode performance.

This is actually LOVELY! Start off peppery but within minutes transforms into a sweet, deep and comforting scent which is quite addicting. I couldnt stop sniffing myself! Amazing longevity and projection and for a fair price point. Can be unisex also. After 20 mins I kind of get that Bianco Latte DNA.

At first spray this scent is peppery but soon transforms into a wonderful smokey scent!!!! As it drys down it becomes a more powdery smoke with a hint of rose. Absolutely love how this perfume smiles and the scent projects well. I have been testing the sample kit and so far this is my top pick.

Sweet, smoked wood. Dry smell.

Starts off very peppery then moves into a nice warm woodiness still with a little sharpness but almost comforting in its sweetness and then I do definitely get the baby oil people are talking about as in becomes more floral. To me its a the late evening of what was a blisteringly hot summer day in vibes, like a memory of warmth and temperate air by the coast, soft flowing dresses and sitting on a balcony somewhere in southern France. I can see why people say winter and autumn for this because of the warmth it has that you would want to bring to those seasons and if I think autumn while smelling it I can almost get maple syrup (though that might be a little insane). Its definitely not one to be worn in the day in the summer. I would say is on the more feminine end of unisex, I find it a lot easier to picture on a woman but i think some men could pull it off would need a matching vibe though. Honestly, the full size isn't as much as I thought it was going to be (in the UK at least) and it might join my collection at some point. Its grown on me quite quickly over the short time I've had my decant. Edit: Too lasting. Can still smell it on everything its touched like i just sprayed it. If you like that fantastic, if you get headaches or get overwhelmed by too much potency like me then it will not be for you

This is a creamy version of the woody/patchouli rose fragrance combo. It is very rounded and creamy to me. Nothing sharp, very likeable in comparison to others with similar rose breakdown. I am finding I really love and appreciate Giardini di Toscana's perfume DNA - they very much remind me of LUSH... There are some spices present, but not too much and they come off as rounded & creamy too. Something is slightly sweetened here as well - just slightly - and it is also very comforting. I am enjoying this sample but not sure it is a need for me and my collection. But I am pleasantly surprised. So far, I own Bianco Latte & Bora Bora from the house and now have their discovery set to see what else I'd like to get. So far I really love the way these smell, they have a quality I enjoy, that reminds me of raw oil materials used to make perfumess. Unadulterated materials and it is unique and pleasant. Hard to explain. But if you know LUSH perfumery - these are like if LUSH fragrances were not sharp at all (many are and I still enjoy them*).

This felt like an old-fashioned fragrance, even though I couldn’t immediately place what it was trying to evoke. Somehow, it carried me straight back to my childhood. Black pepper is very dominant here, sharp and insistent, joined by an unusual note that reminds me of freshly painted walls and varnished furniture that hasn’t quite dried yet. It’s a distinctly chemical impression; strange, even unsettling; yet oddly compelling. Despite (or perhaps because of) that synthetic edge, I found myself enjoying it. There’s something deeply nostalgic about it, a reminder of another time and place. As it settles, the fragrance turns incensy, grounding the sharper elements and giving it a more contemplative finish. The notes of the fragrance is not what my nose is picking up at all and I’m not mad about it. For some reason all I can smell is raw pancake batter 😅. It’s smells powdery with the softest nuances of vanilla. In the beginning I get the pepper but it mellows down really quickly to a powdery slightly milky understone. I know what I’ve tested was Bianco Oro because I’ve tested it a couple times at the shop so I know I’m not crazy 😂 but something about it reminds me of raw cake or pancake batter. It’s quite addicting but I find the longevity and sillage are not to my personal liking. In the dry down of Bianco Oro I get the same scent profile as Initio’s Absolute Aphrodisiac - it’s vanilla with something about it being animalic. Definitely test before blind buying!

Testing from the sample kit: opening is very peppery and quite similar to a lot of men's cologne that have a citrus blend. The masculine peppery opening fades into more of a hint of spice as the patchouli and rose take over. This stage of the fragrance turns quite soft actually, almost creamy! The bergamont is still very much present. I do detect ambery and woody undertones. For me this is too masculine leaning for my personal liking but I think I would love to smell this on my man😍 it's sexy actually. I'll have to make him test this on the skin and have a better sniff later!

This starts with such a pungent sour bergamot and pepper combo it really makes me giggle to think of all the Bianco Latte lovers sniffing and recoiling and immediately hitting the “dislike” button. This combo actually kind of reminds me of saffron, a note I find challenging, so I at first also was a little put off by the aptly named Bianco Oro. But as it dries down on skin it begins to take on a warm golden and also fuzzy feel that is very appealing, and perfect for cold weather. And the creamy sandalwood/patchouli dry down is definitely a crowd pleaser and lasts for hours.

Curious to test this brand, I chose Bianco Oro. At the opening a strong note of pepper, with an opulent and bitter base (given by the bergamot), then very slowly a shy and sweet rose, dark, emerges which always remains accompanied and I would say held back by the pepper, after a few Over time the pungent sensation disappears and the fragrance becomes pleasantly creamy and fresh, lasting and sealing on the wrist for a very long time. It requires time to be balanced, in my opinion. Good to wear during the day, perhaps more so in cold seasons .

Smooth patchouli and rose, powdery and slightly vintage overall but still soft and feminine. A really nice composition, I may end up getting a full bottle. Layers well with vanilla lotion. Longevity is very good, 7+ hours, sillage is on the low end of moderate. Good special occasion scent. 8/10. Not blind buy safe. Purchased from: Parfums De France

Sweet pepper bomb with hints of velvety rose and patchouli, gets muskier as it dries down but the peppery aspect lingers. Cool/cold weather, sprayed the crook of my elbow with my sample and it's projecting very loudly. Definitely sample before purchasing, especially if you're expecting a musky rose take on Bianco Latte.

Am i the only one who pick up this Xylene smell? This reminds me of those black markers that smells so addictive and pleasant.. but more powdery and sweet in a way. Like it, but dont want to be walking around smelling like this. Appreciate the scent for what it is, even tho its not my cup of tea.

This took me back to my childhood, very nostalgic smell. It reminds me of using baby wipes in our old wooden cabin. Pungent opening, warm and comforting after the drydown. Not something I would personally wear outside of my home, but it's interesting. Not a safe blind buy.

Smells nice buuut you could find nicer fragrances for less money. Overpriced for what it is. Edit: as someone else said it has something from bianco latte but a more masculine take. For my nose bianco oro is a baby of bianco latte and arabians tonka by montale.

I think the low ratings are from people who love Bianco Latte, try this and realize that it's a completely different fragrance. But this was still one of my favorites from the discovery set. It may not be completely me, but it's a well-done rose+patchouli.

I like it. I smell mostly Amber. I Dot’n smell any baby powder or pepper. I don’t think I will get a full size bottle but I will defenetly get a decant once I run out of the sample.

I received this in a sample set and I consider it underrated. It is woody and peppery but not overwhelmingly dark. It reminds me of wood furniture and aftershave!

Where is this low rating coming from? This is a gorgeous perfume! It has beautiful pepper note with Xerjoff’s “Pikovaya Dama”-like powdery quality.

Bianco Oro is a heavy scent. It’s mostly a mixture of spices, patchouli, amber, rose and woody notes. In this order! The usual light and fresh bergamot gets lost between so many strong aromas. Don’t get it at all! The opening is a black pepper bomb. It has listed in the notes pink pepper as well but that’s usually more fresh, suave and feminine. The pepper in Bianco Oro is intense, sharp and masculine leaning. Nose-tickling type of black pepper. The second most powerful note that I can detect here is patchouli. If you love intense patchouli, Bianco Oro is your scent! Earthy, woody, herbal, smells nearly minty. It has some subtle rose and amber touches, even though not listed. I don’t know how javanol and cetalox are supposed to smell but they give me a woody vibe. This fragrance is what I would call a winter scent, that is for sure. It’s very intense and masculine leaning smelling. Impressive scent, but not something that I would like to wear. Not at all what I expected to smell when I ordered the sample. On the bright side, it is a very long lasting and projects massively. I have sprayed my wrist 3 times and the minute I have entered the room my boyfriend said he could smelled it. If it’s your vibe, it’s well done, very intense, unique smelling (to me at least), and not expensive for the quality you get. Plus, beautiful packaging and bottle!

This one is pretty interesting. Yes, it really DOES smell baby oil (like a powdery, thin oil) and pencil shavings, but not in a bad way. Do I like this? Meh. But it's interesting. It actually reminds me a lot of the smell at the university my grandma used to work at. It was a concrete building with really tall ceilings, a lot of books all around the classrooms, really large chalkboards and plants standing around; lemon trees very very popular at that time. It smells slightly woody, chalky, dry, but slightly damp at the same time, a lot of pencil shavings and paper. It smells like education to me; like a person who has spent countless hours in the library. Later, this develops into a soft, sandalwood-like scent that's a little milky, but it has some bergamot-citrus in the background (which I'm not a big fan of). Overall, a pretty interesting perfume, but definitely not for everyone. This is unisex, but I think I would feel more interested in it on a man. Still, when it comes to woody citrudes for men, I think I'd preger something like Cedrat Boise from Mancera instead.

It takes a while to get to know this fragrance. I had to try it several times before I could fully understand it. Do not judge this by its first spray. It's mysterious and charming! The opening is super peppery with loads of citrus and rose. Spicy woody yet cold and fresh. It gets softer and creamier by the second. Reminds me of throat medicine, also gives me dental office vibes. But this is what I imagine the most: A boho massage parlour that offers a menthol massage with woods burning as incense in the background. There are dried rose petals/patchouli and lit black pepper candles spread across the room. I quite enjoy it once it settles, but would probably not get a full bottle of it. Unisex leaning masculine for sure and would suit someone who doesn't like to smell like everyone else. This is not a safe blind buy. Same as with Blu indaco, try and test before FB. As with the other GDT, the quality is there. Stays on the skin forever and projects really well.

The opening is very strong and overwhelming, very citrusy and spicy to me. But it quickly dries down to a sweeter and woodier scent. It is still spicy but I get the smell of marzipan a little bit, not sure why haha It’s not bad but also not something I would reach for. Longevity is pretty good, but it stays close to the skin. I really like the dry down though, I put a spray on my wrist and I kept smelling it as I moved my arm and it was a very pleasant scent but it’s still not full bottle worthy for me.

For the first time ever, i bought a perfume without testing it first as a tester wasn't available. I got it thinking that it's fresh and woody with a hint of rose and pepper...but to my nose it's very, very sweet. It smells almost like a cake. If you're looking for something woody, I guess I can't recommend this perfume.

This is an interesting and unique scent, it’s very nostalgic and old fashioned, almost like an old yet rich house, spicy with a bit of sweetness, it’s romantic, but I believe it’s not for me, perfect for the cold weather tho

to me, it opens as a more masculine, spicy and herbal version of Bianco Latte. Then a couple hours later it smells exactly like baby powder, idk how!

Wood and pepper, but there is something green too in the back.

Oh no....def not for me. The pepper is so strong that it overpowers the experience of the other notes. The pepper, and bergamot are what I primarily smell in the opening. In the mid the pepper stays very prominent, and dry down I get a little bit of the wood and it does get a little rosey and sweeter. The final dry down, that pepper is still going strong but also smells almost like a powdery, vintage rose/nostalgic mature...a rose smell a woman in her 60s+ in the 90s would have worn. Absolutely a no bueno for me. Because I can't get over the intensity of the pepper, I don't want to smell it on anyone....but I would say it's unisex that leans feminine.

This is the fifth fragrance I have tried from their discovery set and, so far, I don't like any of them (Alma Folia, Bianco Latte, Celeste, Blu Indaco). Bianco Oro to me smells like Vicks Vaporub, or something similar, in the opening, and then as some kind of low quality baby powder. I smell some sort of very synthetic cyanide-y bitter almond note which is really unpleasant to my nose and I cannot smell any of the notes listed here.... Rose? Javanol? Patchouli? Cetalox? Pepper? Bergamot? None of them... I will try the other samples, but I have the feeling that this house is not for me....

Fake Woody Rose😬 I wanted to give this house a shot after trying the Bianco Latte and they both have this weird sweet plasticy smell🤢 I can literally taste it in the back of my throat😖This has strong sillage but this line is just not giving. Even Bath and Body Works got way better quality/proce for sillage 👀However this particular one has more marzipan vibes, but I think it's still overly synthetic. I'm so far not impressed with this line. Not worth a Zodiac Trio👎

A TON OF PEPPER. pink pepper, black pepper.. if this doesnt make me sneeze i dont know what would! It's so insanely peppery i should season my food with this perfume from now on. It has a scent of rose in the background but its not enough to mask the pepper lol. Not for blind buy😹 i wouldnt like this on man or woman its such a weird smell to own.

I found it quite peppery, a bit similar to SL Poivre Noir, but it quickly goes into baby wipes powdery territory. I hate baby wipes smell, a total scrubber for me. Also, a bit reminiscent of Blanche Bete, if you like that as well ( I hate it!) No true Bianco Latte DNA in this Oro for sure. Try before you buy.

In the opening I'm not sure if it smells more like an old mans cologne or of an old womans perfume, but it's definitely not for anyone under the age of 82.... The drydown is actually a very pleasant masculine smell, but definitely not for me...

Very similar to GDT Christos - abundance of black pepper in start - too strong in my opinion, then furniture preservation polish again and in the end it goes to lactonic vanilla.

SOTD Bianco Oro by Giardini Di Toscana 1.5/5 First seconds are very peppery which fades into a powdery rose. It is pleasant but not very unique, just kind of smells like a mature perfume. I’m not getting any of the Bianco Latte vibe as mentioned below. After about an hour the Bianco Oro fades into a vanilla skin scent, but it’s a typical Vanilla Fields type of vanilla not the creamy Bianco Latte. Working through a purchased discovery set of the Giardini Di Toscana perfume house. Wore at home.

Pepper and rose in the opening, followed by something chemical smelling, a little greenish like bergamot or some sort of citrus, after that it develops an increasingly sweet, musky and powdery scent, it is very charming, very pleasant in the air, and from a distance, but if I get my nose closer to the skin, the aromachemicals give me that nose burn sensation that I profoundly hate. I love the sillage in the air...I am on the fence. I need to test it more.

Ok Initial spray- masculine spicy woody Mid- bianco Latte- is that you? Base- peppery woodsy bianco Latte vibe and clean musk. I find this comforting. Today I'm wearing - bianco Oro on my wrists and back of hands. -Kind intentions Navitus on my long Sleeves -Black opium Le parfum on my neck -And Black opium Extreme on the back of my ears. I smell like a delicious milk tea with huge chewy globs of a decadent brown sugar boba. YUM 😋 Yes please.

Sometimes i feel other reviewers are really high on drugs... the person that said it smells like blanche bete should have his internet switched off. Same with the one who said it smells like bianco latte. Reaaaaaasslly high on drugs too. This is lemony peppery woody. NOT MILKY TUBEROSE NOR CARAMEL. This is unique and unisex. A ver cool take on pepper as a note.
