WOW! This perfume is absolutely heavenly. It smells like it has so many more notes than what's listed. I like spicy perfumes similar to Fendi EDP, a rich warm spice. This is 100% better than Casmir ... and even Opium. It's a beautiful warm spice with a touch of floral. Exquisite!!!!! At first, it has that vintage smell, like there's oakmoss in it. It's not smokey (which I can't get used to), it's not harsh, but just smooth, velvety spicy scent. I don't smell vanilla, but maybe that's because the ingredients are so well blended. I can't get enough of it!

8I have an D eau de parfum concentre and to me it smells very similar to Ysl Opium parfum but not so much in to the nose a bit more toned down. Definitely missing more notes as the marked above. I smell some more wood and spices maybe some incense in the base. Oriental/spicy category. This is a hands down really elegant and feminine smell. The bottle is very beautiful, my favorite part is the stopped shaped like an elegant vintage lady hat.

Why isn't this more popular? Rich and spicy, C. gives Opium a run for its money. Cinnamon is strong in the opening, and spiced honey smooths out the composition. Imagine a mixture of Hot Couture, Obsession, Opium and Youth Dew, C. is similar to all these frags and yet is uniquely beautiful. Lasting power is good and sillage is modest. Lightly applied, C. is work safe. The bottle is lovely with its adorable little mushroom cap.

It's a refined pleasure to wear this perfume. Oh, what a pleasant woody-spicy resinous sap, reminiscent of Opium without the cloves! This subtle, non-gourmet sweetness, a touch of salty resins, a touch of caramel resins... There's light, there's amber depth. It's very difficult to separate the individual notes. Sometimes it seems like there's opponax and myrrh, incense. But patchouli and cinnamon are definitely there.

Looooooove this so!!! soft, spicy and woody; odd; unique; close to skin, not monster like Opium, Crazy Krizia, etc but in the family, like sexy body musk with a hint of spice; on second wearing with two spritzes it was a beast

Amazingly beautiful amber scent!

Smooth and fruity, like Houbigant's Raffine, but, Creature is much spicier and better quality. I detect strong cinnamon front and center, and I think some very subtle oak moss in the background (where oak moss belongs). I have to disagree with comparisons to Opium (original 1970's version - I'm not familiar with modern flankers), since Opium is so smokey and incense-intense, which Creature is not, at all.

It is indeed somewhat Opium-esque, but it is considerably rounder - Opium really gets up in my nose and tickles it, whereas this doesn't, it is very round, velvety, even syrupy. It's as if Opium and 2002 Dior Addict EdP had a love child that inherited a bit more of Opium's characteristics but the vanilla coke nature of Addict. Lovely.

Vanilla bisquit based fragrance. Not so distant from Opium. Lovely the bottle expecially the splash version.

Although this is classified as an Oriental Floral, the notes cited here are for sure incomplete; Creature straddles a few different worlds, all of them beautiful. A Bergamot top immediately flows into a spicy heart: Nutmeg & Cinnamon coupled with classic resins, likely Myrrh, Benzoin, and Galbanum (I get some nice green here, as I do in "Arsenal" by Cantuel). Also, as kl99 mentioned, there is a "biscuit" quality- something Vanillic and buttery. The heart seems to have some rich exotic thing, maybe Osmanthus, alongside Rose, Jasmine and maybe Lily of the Valley. Surprisingly not in the notes is Oakmoss, and a good deal of it, which gives this scent a 1980s chypre vibe. The wood is almost certainly high quality Sandal, full and creamy. For certain, this creature is a changeling! * I can find no official notes on this perfume. Nigel Groom's iconic "The Perfume Handbook" lists only its launch date of 1987, and has a blank space where the category should be .It is also absent from the H&R guides.

The Short: I really like this one. The Long: This is mysterious. It opens with light floral notes, just enough to lure you in close. And, then it dissipates and we are left with a rich dark deep oriental spicy fragrance. I can smell a dryness and the faintest bit of leather. I also get an incense like smoke note. It is sweet but, not saccharine or syrup on my skin. I could be way off in my description, I could have a turned bottle, add a grain of salt to the review. Regardless, this smells fabulous to me. This is kind of like, youth dew, shalimar, etc. Does not smell like either but, could easily be sorted to the same shelf of classical scents. Not modern perfumery, still well done and worth a sniff. It wears close to the skin and has moderate longevity. The bottle is adorable. I have a large bottle with the stopper/ dabber applicator. A spray bottle may give better projection. I have only worn this at home; seems formal appropriate. It is a somber scent imho.

this is beautiful-indeed it is comparable to opium, but it is like a younger, smoother version of it. none of the smoke or cola notes some claim in the spicier opium-esque perfumes. i personally feel the lack of smoke is what smoothes it out. projection is great-it is about 3 feet-not so much that it arrives before you do-nor does it offend people standing near you i got this as a mini-i have no idea of how hard it if to find a FB-but if you like orientals/spice....it is definitely worth a try. i do not think you will be disappointed.

This is warm and sweet, lightly spicy, it’s beautiful.
