Moving

A fougère which is at once both sweet and aromatic. Heavy on the cardamom and olibanum, with subtle whiffs of smoky incense and very sheer floral notes, all contained in a powdery base of woods, coumarin, patchouli, and amber, which as a whole make this "fougère" feel very much oriental in character. Mooving also posseses, what I can best describe as a "dandyish" quality, since at times this fragrance comes across more like an eccentric, old world, men's floral than a modern day feminine perfume, thus Mooving can easily be worn by a man (A guy who's self assured enough to wear masculine florals). As may be evident by now, this fragrance in many ways defies classification and is a difficult one to "put in a box", but it is this very elusiveness what makes Mooving so enigmatic, as it seems to shift, and to continuously reveal new facets of itself. As such, its very peculiar name "Mooving" seems quite fitting, and may well be a literal description of this fragrance. This review is for the EDP formulation. PS. The bottle for the EDP is a faceted "twisting" sculpture of clear and frosted glass, and is quite beautiful.

The name of the perfume is Mooving, not Moving. Yes, it's a silly name but the scent is nice. Amber mixed with the sharpness of cardamom are the strongest notes. Sillage is modest for a splash application, a spray will probably perform much better. Longevity is good. M. is unisex. The bottle is elegantly designed but the bottom is slanted and prone to tipping over. Put this one in a safe location!

I got gifted a Mooving tester and it took me weeks to collect my thoughts on it. Because I'm mindblown! This fragrance is so unique to me, at first sniff it's like a wannabe-male cologne but then it kinda isn't, it's just more sweet in a strong overpowering way. The scent lingers literally for days, honestly its sillage just has an everlasting power 😳 and I'm not even exaggerating. This is a strong unisex aromatherapy explosion in a twisted-design bottle. I had to grab the first 50ml bottle I could find on eBay since it's vintage and sadly been discontinued. Extraordinary, this perfume swings both ways surely! Just wow – love it. 👏
