Acqua di Gio Essenza

Those were beautiful times, before the sweet upgrades, the likes of kamrah and jpg elixir, etc. Super men times will return. that's for sure. "The year 2012 brought the release of a refreshed version of Essenza, which Morillas handled as befits a true professional... he did not try to subject his own IMO finished work to a remodeling, but decided only to expand it with an additional nuance - bringing a breath of green lightness and freshness, effectively diverting attention from its monothematic, ozone-water heart.... although Essenza retained the distinctive and recognizable character of the original - but it also gained a new, bringing even more relief from the heat - while effectively cutting it off from the millions of clones modeled on its phenomenon.... The beginning of Essenza, is a hit of fleshy peel of just peeled grapefruit, sweet bergamot and intense green-herbal mannerism, with a clearly perceptible - but receded into the background, the main ozonic-water thread of Acqua di Gio... a major revolution in sound in vain, except that the fragrance has changed course by a few dozen degrees, but still flows in the direction taken in 1996.... the addition of greens and the noticeable presence of flowers, vetiver, sage and basil in the heart chord dulled slightly the coldness and austerity of the sound of the ozonic-water classic - but at the same time made it colorful, more multidimensional, more interesting and, above all, much more lively in perception.... in my opinion, the fragrance benefited from this expansion of notes not only by the sheer facelift of the composition, but, above all, it gained in clarity and became more crisp than the conservative protoplast, which has managed to wither a tad over the last dozen years or so.... to sum up: it has succeeded Morillas Essenza exquisitely, and unlike the classic - which has been tarnished by over-popularity and oversupply of counterfeits - I will wear it with real pleasure, because in my opinion it has more to offer and it has been served better.... the fragrance has gained at least a second life from this fruity-herbal facelift - and this fragrance has quite a lot of competition, even if qualitatively it doesn't come close to its heels... longevity and projection absolutely flawless, and the perceptibly woody base adds additional sophistication to Essenza's decline... so, if you're looking for a chic fresher for summer - I highly recommend it... reminds me: the classic Acqua di Gio in the first place, of course, but lovers of the whole family of Bvlgari (Aqua, PH and Men), Hugo Boss (XY, Element), Collistar Acqua Attiva, D&G Light Blue, Lanvin Oxygene - and even in its own perverse way Hermes Voyage will be delighted with Essenza.... Head: bergamot, grapefruit, aquatic notes and calone, Heart: jasmine, floral notes, basil and sage, Base: musk, clary sage, ambergris, cedar, patchouli, vetiver, pepper, ambergris"

This is what a true fresh & vibrant fragrance should be. Better than the OG in terms of performance and depth of scents. The original was great for those 4-5 years of my early twenties as a spring & summer banger (anytime is a good time if you want to smell clean/fresh regardless of season) but, eventually grew tired of it since I had it on 24-7 and wanted something with a bit more substance. Then Essenza came along about 7 or 8 years after I stopped using adg and it was an epiphany of some sorts. It was Essenza or Issey Miyake Summer editions and Essenza was easily the top dog. More mature yet, still youthful & vibrant almost bringing me back to my younger adg glory days. I bought 3 bottles (200 ml's) back in 2012 and thought I'd never have to hurry for more. Ran out in 2019 and have been scrambling ever since. Shame on Armani for being obtuse and ignorantly defiant in not continuing on a success. It's mindblowing to be honest. No, the scent wasn't groundbreaking or revolutionary, just a solid evolution of the original that was damn near perfect at what it was meant for. I own Profumo and nowadays I prefer it as it is the best 4 season freshy that I own. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be on Fragrancebuy.ca a few months ago and happened to check their rare & discontinued section and lo & behold, they had Essenza in a limited quantity in both 6.8 & 2.5 is. Picked up 2 bottles of each for nearly retail prices, about 15% over. A steal for what they are going for on the auction sites. I won't tell what you should or shouldn't pay for this juice but, if you enjoyed the original and can find it and afford it, don't hesitate. If scents can be canonized or ascend to the heavens as gods, this is one of them that belongs on Mt. Olympus for Zeus himself. Immortal, period.

Only got hold if this for the first time in December 2019.It was a completely blind buy as the store only had sealed units in cellophane available but it was definitely not a mistake. The reviews on here helped tremendously. What an awesome fragrance! Clean and fresh and I can’t stop smelling my arm whenever I wear it, definitely addictive stuff! Longevity is quite good and I like this more than the other two Gio Acqua frags (original and Profumo) I tested the day I bought this. Sadly discontinued like a lot of my other favourates so try and grab some while you can from stores that still have stock at REASONABLE prices, not the over inflated rip off prices that I have seen online! I was fortunate to get three 75ml bottles on a special deal at the equivalent of $77 (normal price around $102) each. I also have to add that the bottle design from the amazing magnetic cap, the thick glass to the the silver plate on the bottom is top notch and my favourate out of all my various fragrances that includes Creed Aventus. For that reason I will use this straight out of the bottle and not from a decant as it is part of the whole experience..LOL.. Now I just hope I will be able to afford and be able to locate more the day my stock is depleted. I trust that Giorgio Armani will realise their mistake and bring it back. 9/10 UPDATE: Wore it last night (3 months later) after getting out of the shower and it just reminded me again why I fell in love with this fragrance from the moment when I first got it in December 2019. 100% Pure class.

The original Acqua Di Gio became my signature fragrance back in 1996 upon it's release when I purchased whilst on holiday on the Greek island of Rhodes. I've long been a fan of fresh citrus / woody fragrances so this hit the spot immediately. Perhaps when combined with the view I was enjoying from my holiday appt terrace whilst watching a beautiful Mediterranean sunset when 1st applied, it had 'added value'! Who knows, but what I do know is that I'm transported back to that moment in time now whenever I wear or smell ADG. I tried a sample of 'Essenza' back in December 2012, not long after it's release & was blown away immediately. I didn't think that my favourite fragrance could be improved upon & don't get me wrong, that's not exactly what I think has happened here ... I'd rather like to think that this is a slightly more sophisticated version of the original. I own all 3 versions (ADG, Essenza & Profumo) & for me, this is easily the best version. I tend to wear Profumo the least (although I don't dislike it), the original for casual / daytime wear & Essenza has now become my signature fragrance. Out of the 3 I'd say that it has the best silage / longevity. I get around 4-5 hours of good silage & around 6 hours of longevity ... on me, it's still a very nice skin fragrance for up to 10 hours depending on weather conditions. Heartily recommended for lovers of citrus/aquatic/aromatic fragrances with above average performance .. If you love ADG & don't have this in your collection, treat yourself ! :o)

AdG EDT was my first purchases as a man some 25 years ago. It was the king then and still reigns supreme today. It is the true definition of an EDT... very bright and loud. Essenza is an excellent flanker. I thoroughly enjoyed wearing it today. It sets itself apart from the world of freshies, while still retaining that excellent balance between fresh and citrusy with the masculine spice that the AdG DNA is known for. For me, however, it was short lived. I got about 90 minutes of projection out of it and by the 4 hour mark, there wasn't much projection left. I was only half way through my shift and planned for the worst, so I reapplied. I did not go easy on the trigger before work either. 3 sprays on each arm, 3 on the neck and 3 on the shirt. What a bummer... If Essenza was still produced today, I would happily pick up a bottle for $80, but you are smoking crack if you think I would pay the $170ish that it is going for today. To be honest, AAM Aqua Oud has everything I want in this DNA, it screams for 12 hours, and it costs $40. My huge collection will be null and void of any AdG once this 10ml decant of Essenza is gone. I may pick up a bottle of EDT for nostalgia's sake if I see one for $40. The flankers have zero to offer me. I have tried them all in store and none of them perform. Aqua Oud has spoiled me rotten. It only took wasting my money on 150 dupes to find a small handful of keepers, but Aqua Oud was almost worth the trouble. 8/10... -1 point for low performance

Curse you Armani for getting rid of this!!! I was a huge fan of ADG Pour Homme in the late 90's and early 2000's but thought it was a bit played out after a while. I thought Essenza was too similar to to Pour Homme but picked up a bottle anyways. As I began to wear Essenza more it started to dawn on me that it was the "Dad" version of Pour Homme. I started to pick up the pepper and cedar notes a bit more as time went on and pledged my allegiance solely to Essenza. Being a fragrance enthusiast, I knew Armani was kicking Essenza to the curb. With my bottle nearing it's end, I wore it only for special occasions in the summer and knew without a doubt it had a tremendous run in my rotation. With the amount of fragrances in my collection, I thought the Essenza itch would fade away in time and eventually be indifferent if I ever had a bottle again. Well.....the itch never really went away and was at the right place at the right time when the opportunity to own another bottle presented itself. Here I sit writing a review in Fragrantica with a spray on my left arm that's well past the 4 hour mark and is still pushing and pushing!! I don't remember Essenza being THIS strong!! So good!! Cheers!!

I'm here to replenish this comment section of a beloved discontinued fragrance that has gone bland lately. I've been owning Essenza since 2019 and eversince, my opinion hasn't changed not even once; it stays solid. Imagine walking in a vast forest after a heavy rain, everything is still damp but the daylight is bright. Those big trees with their herbal surroundings carried by the cold winds evokes a masculine feel, all around you find some little flowers along the path, with most noticeable being jasmines, setting your mind in a soft grace contrasting the regal, carnal woodiness ... and finally you find the spring, an old river in the middle of the forest. Eventually, you are witnessing how it quenches the nature and sustains life since forever. It explains, that even in a hot day of a tropical country, whoever gets a waft of this smell would eventually forget of ever being thirsty, at least for some time, the magic will last. You can ask that to my colleagues when I met them some sunny days ago whilst I was wearing it. Acqua Di Gio Essenza, truly a forever gem of fresh perfumery which sadly, leaves heartbreaks upon its discontinuation.

Acqua di Gio Essenza was one of my first fragrances I ever owned, my all-time favorite, and I still have half a bottle of it. When I got it in 2014, before I was into fragrances I just looked up the highest rated, safest men's blind buy at the time and it was Acqua di Gio original. I didn't know what flankers were at the time so I thought "Essenza" was just describing the size or something. So glad I accidentally got the flanker instead looking back 12 years later. It's a powerful high-end, cooling aquatic, aromatic, complement-pulling masculine great. It's a shame that Giorgio Armani discontinued it although Acqua di Gio and Acqua di Gio Parfum have similar DNA. Bentley Silverlake is very close, although not as powerful and is not discontinued at the time of writing this. I understand the summer/spring lean here, as it is an Italian aquatic, but it also works on a sweater pretty well in the cold months as well, since the cooling spices pair well with the weather.

The best summer fragrance. I just got the 180ml recently here in my country Nigeria after i already learned is been discontinued. This juice performs like magic. When you spray this monster it projects instantly and when you are outside in a hot weather, the magic starts immediately, and what's the magic? It becomes explode., i think it generates power from the hot weather and this is why i said is the best summer fragrance. I will be going to get at least two more extra bottles of 180ml. I'm glad i could find this Monster here in my country. It has a beautiful bottle design with invisible straw, you will have to watch it closely before you can be able to see the straw. I think the new Aqcua di Gio Eau de Parfum was released in order to resurrect this Juice back to life even though I've not tested the new Aqcua di Gio Edp at least the bottle design is trying to pass a message for one to remember the Aqcua di Gio Essenza. A 10/10 for this Monster

Unfortunately, I did not get a backup bottle of this masterpiece which accompanied my summers for 6 continuous years, and I really miss its great smell. I must agree with the most people that the newer releases especially absolu and profondo cause only disappointment to the funs of the line. Armani seems that isn’t interested in that disappointment as is highlighted by the release of two new flankers which are based on those frags (Absolu Instinct and Profondo Lights). I think that nowadays, when the creativity of the companies is deadlock, it is the time for Armani if not to reintroduce the fragrance in the market, to create a frag which will be based on the successful recipe of Essenza. Ending in my opinion Acqua di Gio Essenza is the best summer fragrance among those which were released the last decade.

In the opening it smels like watery citrus garden and after open up slightly floral notes shows themselfs. Aromatic and woodsy notes always there as a back bone because of that i m not even mention of them. In the and it turns out little bit sweet aromatic green garden. I really like and suggest it. Worth to try. Açılışı turunçgillerin ve suyun muhteşem karışımıyla başlıyor ve ardından hafiften çiçeklerin verdiği o nahif ve tatlı koku geliyor. Asla feminen değil ama yanlış anlaşılmasın çünkü arka planda hep aromatik ve odunsu notalar destekleyip maskülenleştiriyor parfümü. Sonlara doğru aromatik, hafif tatlı ve odunsu bir harman oluşuyor kokuda. Denemeye değer ama zor bulunan bir koku. İyi bir fiyata bulunursa kör alış yapılabilir.

To the people comparing this to Bentley Silverlake...Yeah don't even think about thinking about it. I bought 4 different batches of Silverlake just to compare. Essenza is a masterpiece that shouldn't have been discontinued, what were they thinking? I would trade in all of the ADG for them to continue producing Essenza. This scent is metallic, floral, bright, aquatic, fresh, masculine and probably the best scent i've ever smelt of about 4000 different scents. It's truely a scent for an alpha male with a hairy chest and a cigar. If you know the smell and somebody is wearing it you'll recognize it in a second. 4.31/5 is such a low score! Scent: 9.9/10 Longevity: 8.0/10 Sillage: 8.0/10 Price: 2/10 (Now)

This is in my top 3 frags of all time. For starters, this is a beast, projection and longevity. I work in a office so I will only use one spray to the chest, And maybe one on the wrist. I think any more than that you will blow the doors off the building. For some odd reason I was never a huge fan of the original but this is on a whole other level. Same DNA but has more spices mixed with it, which I think allows you to wear this in the cold as well. It has been Discontinued but if you look for giftset you may can find one at a decent price. I got a 2.5oz giftset with shower gel and after shave for $80. Love love love this fragrance and so does the wife do it’s a win-win

Ladies and gentlemen, I simply state that it is a SPLENDOR for my nostrils (and for those around the world). Built on the classic, this is much nicer than the PROFUMO. For me it is THE summer fragrance par excellence. Among the friends of giò is my favorite one. I close my eyes and see the sea. A sea at the will of a stormy wind. Among the various ridges of the waves a wood appears, which is slowly pushed to shore. I touch him, I turn around, I sniff him and here I feel close to poseidon in person. A color for this perfume: Turquoise. A state of mind: quiet. A celebrity: Jules Verne. Among my favorite fragrances! Rating: 10/10

The absolute best of all the ADG line. I bought it 4 times between 2017 and 2020. Amazing smell, acquatic with a beautiful white floral touch, the basil and pepper gave it that little hot fresh punch, and it ends with woody ambery musky class. Beast performance, 12+ hours longevity, with at least 8 hours of great projection and sillage. This easily fills a room, even a hallway. A female coworker told me she could smell it from the end of a 10 meter hallway. It's a shame this is discontinued. BTW, the new Parfum is the closest to Essenza in terms of smell but it doesn't project that much, longevity is fairly good.

Definitely NOT worth what people are asking for nowadays for it remember this floral Essenza was quite long lasting and inexpensive bought my hub a 6.8 oz huge bottle for less than $100 and now prices are crazy its not even a vintage never understood why discontinued. Giorgio Armani Acqua di Giò Essenza was amazing, I'm so disappointed that all these flankers of Acqua di Giò are nice but why discontinue such beautiful Essenza don't understand its been 10 yrs since it launched why take it off the shelves and push others would love an explanation why not keep it in the portfolio Armani fans want it!

The Giò DNA remains unchanged, mixed with the fresh spicy accord which is somewhat similar to Terre d'Hermes (the fresh spicy accord in TDH is a lot thicker. Therefore TDH would fit better for mature gentlemen, like Profumo, while Essenza is simply for anyone). This one is just like a lighter version of Acqua di Giò Profumo. The patchouli and vetiver notes in Essenza are quite similar to Profumo, but without the incense note, which make Essenza much easier to wear. Long-lasting with moderate sillage that won't offend anyone. I simply love it! 10/10 (Profumo would be 9.5 or 9.75). Worth blind buy

What a rollercoaster! I was turned off by the idea of mainstream aquatics, then I fell in love with this. Then I fell out of love and bored by this. Then I was in quandary because, truthfully, I want nothing to do with this fragrance. But I get more compliments from it than almost anything else! So um two attractive females said how much they like this and immediately after their friend said it reminded her of Hollister. Not a particular Hollister fragrance but the vibe of Hollister the brand. Little did she know that would dramatically cheapen it forever in my eyes. Last straw, final nail.

I've used og quite often in my younger days, the new batches of PH these days are like EDC. ADG Essenza is like the elderly fatherly version of the PH, more matured, denser, richer, stronger with a more prominent basil note. It has been taken for granted by many until they discontinued it. If you take away the incense from the profumo, it will smell very close to Essenza too. Also they tried to have hybrid of essenza and profumo in the new parfum version, lighten the incense which makes it not too bad also. Well this bottle is for keeps now.

I just wanted to add something: This fragrance contains CASCALONE (not calone as reported) and PARADISONE (Absent on fragrantica). Fragrantica on this perfume has made a mistake about the group as it is not "AQUATIC" but "MARINE" with a capital "m". I await major changes in this regard because this ADG is a paradise and it is right that people know that an aquatic fragrance is different from a marine fragrance. From the whole line Essenza is the best, then Special Blend, then Profumo, then the original. I consider Absolu to be its own line. I own it and like it. My girl loves it. Haven’t sniffed the new Absolu Intense yet. But it seems to be getting favorable reviews. Just stocked up on Essenza, bought 2 new bottles. The 2.5 oz is available on certain websites. I consider all of them to be good solid releases. They are wearable for many different occasions during different seasons. My girlfriend loves them all.

Honestly, it's everything it's hyped up to be. It's the original with better performance and a bit of a richer, deeper profile. I've been coveting this since I began my collection journey, and finally acquired a 2.5oz for ~ $160.00 on eBay. At the end of the day, I'm just happy I could find it at that price. I've paid as much for big bottles of modern flankers, so it wasn't so hard a pill to swallow knowing what I was getting. If you can stomach the cost, get a bottle. It really does deliver.

This is a love for me. Real shame they discontinued it. Lasts long and prefer it over the original. Better for the higher heat than Profumo as it's not as dense.(I own both) I would actually buy this again. I found a pharmacy nearby out of all places that sold the 180ml bottle for only $15 more than 100ml. The lady must've seen my eyes pop out of my head at the discounted price haha. My wife loves it also. Crisp, clean, floral, only slightly aquatic and more woody than original. 9/10

Well.. I've been waiting to review this for ages. This was one of my most sought after scents until today, when I got lucky enough to find out that a *local* carrier had two 75ml bottles still in stock. Price was a bit steep, but well worth it. This has a classic Italian cleanliness to it with a decidedly herbal character that nor Profondo, or Profumo have at all. It's rich and super fresh; truly a fantastic flanker to the ADG line. I really wish Armani would bring this back.

This was the best of the Aqua Di Gio line by far! Extremely versatile & always garnered unsolicited compliments. Projection: from start to finish. Sillage: from start to finish. Longevity: 10-12 hrs (skin scent the next day.) Detectable on clothing days after. Essenza use to be my signature scent. This beauty ticks all the right boxes for versatility and signature worthiness. I’m so glad I was able to purchase backup bottles just before it was discontinued. 11/10 👍🏽👍🏽

I bought a 5 ml decant,almost cost 1k pesos lmao because it's discontinued. The smell, well I love it, the more intensified version of the original ADG, fresher and greener beacuse of the basil note. Some days, it can have a smell of egg, some days it can a smell of ink, but i still love. Same smell of the Profumo and Parfum version, which when my decant is empty, I just put my Profumo and Parfum as a replacement of my decant. Can used as an office and small errands.

This stuff is amazing. It is tied with Profumo as my favorite Acqua di Gio. Smells like the original Acqua di Gio with green undertones, very aromatic, clean scent. If you have smelled Profumo this basically smells the same but remove the smokey/incense notes in my opinion. My 2013 bottle lasts forever on skin. One of the most complimented fragrances I own. I love to wear this in the morning and about 8 hours later put on Profumo. The best day/night fragrance combo.

Great Fragrance. True masterpiece. Got a bottle recently and i am really glad i did. Smells amazing, such a calming and masculine freahie is hard to find. Ard al zaafran Jazzab silver is quite close but essenza is superior. Projection is very good for at least 4 hours (used it on cloths). Even after 8 hours i was getting the whiffs. Lasts a very good time at least 10 hours. Versatile for all seasons and occasions. Overall 10/10

if you can find this for under 70 dollars, dont think just buy it. Here in indonesia i got this for 990,000 rupiah (around 70 dollars) and i have to say, this is my favourite ADG flanker.its is super fresh, super zingy with a lot of aromatics. performance is freaking good for a citrusy frags, i got almost 10-11 hours on skin, with a lot of sillage. ADG essenza is simply a 10/10 for me.

Incredible aquatic & zesty fragrance that gives off a metallic vibe. As others have said there is definitely a hint of blood in this one. However, the females of my household only picked up on this after I mentioned it. Definitely a crowd pleaser and an easy grab for hot days. In the UK you can still find a few bottles on eBay and the like, however, a 40ml bottle set me back £75.

Smelled this for the first time after it was already discontinued, the store had 4 bottles in stock. Knowing it was discontinued and seeing how much I loved the scent, I snatched ALL 4!! I'm so lucky I know ;) It's so fresh but also bitter and super super elegant and mature. 'Classy' and 'sophisticated' are also great words to decribe this beauty. 10/10

This is a very unique fragrance. This smells peppery. It is very sexy and harsh (Which is good). Good for someone who has the beard with muscles. Not for slim young guys. Good for someone who is masculine 25+ with the beard and the muscles. Better than Dior Sauvage or ADG Profumo. Best time to wear - Summer Daytime Scent 9/10 Overall 9.5/10

ADG really should re-release this perfume! I live in tropical climate and I have been wearing this since 2013 until now. Since its discontinue i've been looking countless replacements but none has met my deep fond of this scent. Truly irreplaceable. Does anyone here eager to talk to ADG to re-release this one? Profumo is more suitable for the winter, of course there is an approach between the Essenza and Profumo , Essenza is definitely worth buying, which I have tried in the summer, it is suitable better for a hot and moderate atmosphere, if you see a suitable price in the market do not hesitate to buy it, now it is difficult to find it

This is the best Acqua di Gio flanker imo. Too bad it is discontinued. I wore Acqua di Gio since the nineties till this came out in 2012. I switched to this and have a steady supply. The last bottle l bought was in 2018. I don't see it anymore. So l had to return to the original Acqua di Gio. I miss AdG Essenza.

Grapefruit ozone mineral notes sage basil, super airy all this but with elegance, and James Franco with a draught of alco-alcohol.In my opinion, it is hard to fake such perfumery Morillas.I have sniffed thousands and always come back to essenza.To the people who love perfumes, do not be provoked, trolls

Beautiful scent for summer, and tropical country in Indonesia. I love the opening more than the drydown.. But the perform on my skin is not good, 6 hrs on my skin for outdoor... projection is moderate... this is signature scent type.. Scent - 8,5/10 Projection - 8/10 Longevity - 7/10 Versatility - 9/10

received this as my wedding gift from my wife. nice smells, receive good compliments from men and women, good lasting and projection. suitable for hot and sunny day and when u r sweaty. at night, this just a thick smells best to come along with night outdoor xtvt. want to buy again but discontinued

Very bright and uplifting Acqua di Gio DNA, which is a true compliments getter. Fresh and long lasting at the same time. Absolute Banger that is extremely versatile, but, sadly discontinued. If you like ADG dna and can find it at decent price, grab it immediately, like I did. You won't regret it.

To me this is the best from the classic Acqua di Gio line, more complex than the original, and not as "heavy" and "in your face" as Profumo is with the incense. Why this got discontinued is beyond me... I will enjoy my 2012 tester for as long as I can and then its on the hunt for another bottle.

I have Silverlake and most of the 'alternatives' but none of them comes even close to this masculine holy grail. Shame on GA for discontinuing this masterpiece! Out of my 500+ collection this is in my top 3. Scent: 9.9/10 Longevity: 8.5/10 Sillage: 8.0/10 Price: Good luck finding it for cheap 😂

Well that figures. I just discovered this flanker exists and at the same time discovered it has been discontinued. Super bummed. The marine note is turned way down in this one and I love that. I found a legit decant of this juice on eBay and will thoroughly enjoy every spray until the end.

I just found four 40ml bottles at a tiny duty free store off the beaten path here in the Cayman Islands, I bought two of them and will probably go back for the rest. Essenza is every bit as good as I expected from the reviews, it's everything I wanted the EDP to be. Damn it's nice.

I confidently say I prefer this out of every AdG in the line. Very aquatic, lovely florals and citrusy. Fresh and bright, just wonderful. Even the performance is GREAT. Too bad this was discontinued, the other flankers in the AdG don't even hit as hard, let alone perform like it.

I am so bummed that they discontinued this one and replaced it with crap. This is just like the original but stronger, greener, sharper, and better in every other way. A monster aquatic, which in most cases is an oxymoron. Good thing I got a 75 ml bottle still in a sealed box.

For those of you who never got a chance to smell this glorious work of art, I actually envy you because I morn the loss of Essenza. ADG and it’s available flankers don’t come close sadly. A lost piece of extraordinary perfumery that will forever be my favourite fragrance

This is my favorite of all the ADG's, and in my opinion the best interpretation of this kind of fragrance. Unfortunately since it's discontinued the prices online are ridiculous and you'd have to be out of your mind to pay that kind of money for a bottle of this. RIP.

i am a collectioner and i have so many options for summer like creed green irish and chanel allure homme sport or dior aqua fahrenheit and ect. but i usually wear this perfume beacause it just makes me feel better and this is one of the cool perfumes surly.i love it

This is my absolute all time favorite male perfume. I love it so much that I bought a bottle of it and spray it time to time on my wrist to have it with me all night long. In my opinion this is the perfect summer scent for a sexy guy with dark hair and dark eyes.

Finally got a bottle today!It is a fresh manly scent and a timeless classic for years to come. Far better than Profumo. Summer/winter perfect versatility. I would love to see a parfum version of this, something like Chanel did with Bleu de Chanel Parfum Edition.
