Acqua di Gio Profumo Special Blend

I find it hilarious that some of the people on here immediately justify not even trying this in the store because they already spent all of their money on the original Profumo, and they would be pissed off if a newer flanker ever dethroned it. Well sorry to say kids, but Special Bend is better. Way better. Please stop leaving comments on here saying "it's the same exact fragrance just with a different bottle, it's just a cash grab, it smells 99.9% similar." This is all completely uninformed bs. You are making any excuse you can to hate on this fragrance simply because you bought the original Profumo, have no money left, and you want to keep your huge ego intact. Special Blend has dethroned the original Profumo. Period. Even Jeremy Fragrance is buying up bottles of Special Blend because he considers it to be the ultimate AdG. Special Blend sold out at my local Macy's. You don't see that happening with Profumo. If you don't have enough money to afford a fragrance that is similar in some ways to its predecessor, you shouldn't even be rating the fragrance or commenting on it in the first place. Be happy with your inferior bottle of Profumo, or be unsatisfied and buy Special Blend to become satisfied. Or maybe you prefer the original Profumo. That's completely fine, and you can say that. But don't come on here and say that the original Profumo is the same fragrance as Special Blend, because that is complete bs and it is clear that you haven't even bothered to thoroughly test Special Blend, if at all. This is the exact same thing that happened when Dior Homme Parfum came out and when Dior Sauvage edp came out and when Bleu de Chanel edp came out, and it will happen ONCE AGAIN when Bleu de Chanel Parfum comes out within the next month. I AM SO TIRED OF THIS. If you don't have enough money to afford new flankers, please stop pretending like you do and leaving negative reviews just because you are SALTY that you cannot afford a bottle. Utterly pathetic. Stop participating in this community if you're gonna be terminally salty just because some people happen to have more money to spend on fragrances than you do. You're making us all look bad.

If Thorin Oakenshield had discovered a bottle of Acqua di Giò Profumo before the events of The Hobbit, he never would've needed the Arkenstone in the first place. Two sprays into that magnificent beard, and everyone in Erebor would've simply agreed he was the rightful King Under the Mountain. Smaug would've caught one whiff of that smoky incense trail, slowly looked around at his mountain of gold, then back at Thorin, and thought, "You know... maybe I've been a little materialistic." He'd politely slide the Arkenstone across the floor, apologize for the whole "burning villages" thing, ask what fragrance he was wearing, and spend the next three centuries trying to convince dragons that incense and patchouli were the real treasures all along. When a fragrance smells this noble, commanding, and dignified, jewels start feeling a little unnecessary. Beyond the joke, Acqua di Giò Profumo earns its reputation. The unmistakable Acqua di Giò DNA is still present with its fresh marine opening and clean citrus brightness, but it quickly steps aside for what this fragrance is really about: incense and patchouli. The perfume pyramid of Profumo Special Blend is completely incorrect, it should not have the same note breakdown as regular Profumo. I was able to buy a small decant from a friend and since ADG Profumo has been one of my most-worn fragrances ever, I felt I had to finally try this one. Right away, you can tell this is classic ADG DNA, just darker, smoother, and more rounded thanks to the incense and patchouli similar to the OG Profumo. The main difference between this and Profumo is the patchouli. It doesn’t smell minty but has that cool, almost mint-like freshness coming from what comes off as balsam fir in the opening and mid. In the dry down, the patchouli becomes even smoother, less sharp, and just a little (and I mean a little) more resinous than the OG Profumo. Nothing dramatic, just richer and more polished. By the dry-down, the fragrance feels very well-rounded and on my skin, the performance is also louder than the original Profumo. I think this works best in the fall, early spring, or cooler nights. It’s still not a full-on winter fragrance but maybe not as meant for all-year wear like most other ADG releases. It’s not a “blow your mind” difference from the OG Profumo, but it’s very well blended and I’m glad I got to try it. I honestly don’t know if this is even sought after anymore or if it ever really was, but it’s unfortunate that this one, Profumo, and soon Absolu are so hard to find and so expensive now. They’re some of the best releases from the entire line. As for me, I’m a big fan of the regular Profumo and think this is a beautiful fragrance as well. I’m happy I got to try my little sample, but $700+ for a full bottle is a hard pass.

This one took me a minute since I normally wear regular Profumo during the Fall/Winter months here in Italy. So I took the plunge and bought a bottle since there wasn't a sample, but off the initial tester spray I could tell that it has a bit more of a spicy sandalwood scent. But it really took me a minute to see if it was worth it. So I went home and I did a test. I sprayed a sample paper in one room with regular Profumo and left it there, and then I did the same with Special Blend in another room. I then waited a few minutes and walked into each room and smelled the paper and I could clearly tell the difference and I actually prefer Special Blend to regular for colder weather. To me, it has more of a slight spice note and more of a sandalwood back end but it mellows out into a nice light yet warm aqua scent. Kinda like what you get from Acqua with the green notes and aqua scent, but mild and more rich since they're not coming off as "sweet" but coming off with notes of "spice". It's subdued in a good way. But in terms of the difference between Profumo and Special Blend, to me is the strength of the spice and how it tames the Acqua scent in a good way. I think it compliments the sweet and fresh scent of Acqua better than regular Profumo.

This is the latest acquisition in my arsenal. This is the best-looking bottle, the golden accents creates a more luxurious appearance. Special Blend is a bit better than Profumo, it is a little bit different. I think that the opening of Special Blend is richer and more vibrant. It simply don't have the brightness and the sharpness that Profumo has. When it dries down, it has some additional patchouli notes and some of those warmer spices, clearly has a deeper spiciness. It's a bit more balanced, a bit smoother, a bit sweeter and a bit more darker compared to the original Profumo. In my opinion, Profumo it's significantly more aquatic, it's a little bit lighter and has some more of that pure aquatic vibe going on, almost like Cool Water By Davidoff whereas Special Blend smells just a tad less aquatic, it still has that DNA of course but smells darker, it seems to have more of the cinnamon vibe in it. It's essentially, more of a noir version of the Profumo. How's longevity ? It performs worse than Profumo, I get almost 8 hrs. I also think that the Special Blend is not super versatile as Profumo, is actually better suited for Winter and Autumn seasons.

Is this release unnecessary? Yes. Could they have just tweaked Profumo and call it reformulation? Yes. Would anyone notice? Hardly because they are 99% identical. No one would even notice that. What I don't get is the hate about this one... you don't have to agree with the release but here you don't comment about releases. You comment about how the fragrance smells. So, this many dislikes is like you dislike the original which is selling like crazy and it's on most ppls top 10 lists. A masterpiece. This is 1% better blended, or tweaked. The redundant release but the same gorgeous masterpiece frag, with totally the same smell. Loving it. Doesn't matter which one you get, completely irrelevant because no one will know the difference, even you who would wear it will probably not be able to distinguish them apart. PS: After a full wearing of both and side by side on each hand, equal amount of sprays I have to say that Special Blend is a bit stronger. In the opening and through the entire life. If you get 7 hrs with Profumo, you will get 8.5 with Special Blend. But the smell alone is the same.

Special Blend undoubtedly is a more refined approach of the original Profumo, it also feels less intense but somewhat compacted and darker. What's the most interesting and beautiful part is when patchouli starts to appear and somehow becomes the dominant note to me. The patchouli in Special Blend smells... heavenly! it's dark green herbal yet spicy minty cool sensation. The aroma is very strongly mentholic, sweet and cooling, whereas in Profumo this rich aroma kind of type is severely lacking. Profumo has a slight touch of patchouli, barely perceptible. The patchouli note is the main player here, gives off a darker tone as well as a spicy minty odor while Profumo is more aquatic with a smoky / spicy touch. The difference in quality between Special Blend and Profumo is pretty noticeable. I think Special Blend is quite an improvement and refinement on AdG Profumo. It's definitely one of the hidden gems! Just chiming in on the Profumo vs. Profumo Special Blend debate here, since Special Blend is one of my favorite frags. Profumo Special Blend is clearly superior to the original Profumo. I tried both together, one on each wrist. The Profumo is great, but the Special Blend is less harsh, smoother, and slightly less odd smelling. While they're about the same to each other, if you have a choice, go with the Special Blend. You can find it for about the same price as well. And to people getting annoyed, saying how it's the same thing just in a different bottle: Everyone is different, and there are plenty of people here (such as myself) who believe the fragrances clearly smell different. And even if they smell close to one another, who cares? I could understand some annoyance if this was titled under something different than the Profumo name, but it's not. It's literslly just "Profumo Special Blend". Meaning it's going to be quite akin to the original Profumo, but just a special blend of it. Relax.

Good. Really Good. Starts aquatic & ctirusy, like the classical smell of Acqua di Gio (AdG). As it drys down, it the woody, & mildly spicy, incense/patchouli combo starts to reveal itself & talking half the share of AdGP Special Blend with the water/citrus combo taking the other half. The resultant smell is a soft, mildly-spicy, & woodier AdG. A really well done one. It's extremely similar to the original AdG Profumo. Special Blend might be a tad woodier/spicier. You need a side-by-side comparison to pick a difference, if any at all. Both AdG Profumos, the original & Special Blend, are woodier take on the original AdG. This made them both more winter & night suitable. I don't know if Special Blend should exist given the marked similarity with the OG Profumo. I mean, they are so similar, they should not be in the same wardrobe. However, both Profumos are quite beautiful. You can go for either. This woody aquatic gets a "Love" just like OG Profumo.

Just picked up Special Blend from my local Macy's to take advantage of their current 15% discount offer. I need to wear it a few times to give it a fair review. But I will say this: it's different than the original profumo. I own both and profumo has been on my top 10 since I first got it. When I tested special blend at the store, I instantly knew it was high quality and just a little richer than the other flankers. I'll put it this way -- original Profumo (and all the ADG line) has a playful side whereas special blend is straight up business. I've grown with the ADG line; I had the original when it first came out in high school and I've been a fan ever since. I really don't care for Absolu, but Special Blend seems like a nice way to close the book with ADG. We're both more mature. I'll be back with an official review including notes and performance.

I absolutely loved the ADG my father had when I was a teenager. It just smelled like the king of manly aquatic cologne. Call me a hater, but I felt like the modern ADG was weak, and I honestly thought the widely adored Profumo version was pretty forgettable. I was ready to regret purchasing this Special Blend, but instead I'm impressed by the quality of this overall aquatic patchouli fragrance. It's proper juice which leaves an oily patch on the skin. I'm gonna take it to work and see what the people think! I have a feeling it's gonna be a hit, especially with my coworker who likes BVLGARI Aqua Amara. The incense and aquatic notes are classy, and simultaneously the patchouli has this "natural" wet green feel.

I'm glad that not many people know about this one, because then i will be one of the best smelling people who wear AdG in the world. This is the best AdG ever released, and some people apparently don't have the noses to pick out the differences when they test this alongside the regular Profumo. For me, the differences are 100% there. The original Profumo seems stale next to this. It seems too uptight and dry, like it's missing something. A shy, serious guy. Lacking character. The Special Blend has the character and depth that the original should have had. It is for the bad boy who also has an amazing job. This makes the original Profumo obsolete imo.

Something about this just feels supreme. The OG has more bite, a sharp bite of sea water and bergamot. Whereas Special Blend has a smooth sparkling freshness in the open while still maintaining the overall feel of profumo. I think the sea notes are dialed back a tiny bit in this as well. It smells so good. Oh my god. I'm a huge fan of both profumo varieties, but I would choose this every time. I simply can not understand why they would stop making this. If you have a chance to get a bottle, get it!!!!!!!! I don't care the price. Amazing juice. Save for special occasions and it will last forever

People are not liking this because they were expecting something different. This is not a flanker or new twist on ADG, it's a special blend of ADG Profumo. Of course it's going to smell the same, it IS the same stuff, just blended differently. Personally, when viewed on its own and not tainted by the thought of the original ADG Profumo, I think it's great. It's slightly less spicy and slightly more sweet. I feel this one is a little more casual and can be pulled off on a casual occasion where the original Profumo is more of an elegant smell for formal occasions. Both are great.

facts: 1. if you are just an user you dont need both, you need this one, the special blend 2. its smoother 3. sweeter 4. lasts 2 hours more than profumo 5. this is sweeter 6. special blend is a cross between essenza and profumo 7. its less spicy so go pick your favorite... if you already own profumo you can still get it, if you are a collector but if you are not a collector , and own profumo, skip it...you dont need both this is perfection in a bottle,profumo is 8/10 , this is 10/10 in my books, check out my review on YouTube at "Joy Amin" Channel:) Gracias :)

It's available in Europe, I found it in a Müller store. It opens with a slight coca cola-like sweetness, while it keeps the original profumo's DNA for the whole time. It' an interesting smell and it's actually really nice. Do not think that this is a more generic take on this fragrance, it smells pretty unique despite that it's a limited flanker. It lasts for about 8 hours on me, and the extra coca-cola vibe will stay for the whole time. I'm satisfied with this release, it's an interesting new take on profumo.

Agree 110% with @CarsonFacePalr below; this stuff is far superior to the original Profumo. I also loved the original back in the day when it was first released, but as the years went by I felt it had a sour, harsh metallic basenote that I couldn't stand anymore. This on the other hand (literally!) is smoother, richer and more complex, luckily not featuring that ugly skinscent-note that the original featured. Pay the extra buck to get the luck! ;)

It is the same parfume with adg profumo, in a different botle? Yes and no... Adg sb to my nose is a litle well made, a litle bit round,and a litle more performance. If adg profumo is 9,75 adg sb is a perfect 10.

Very similar to the original, the patchouli is from an organic farm in this one and that's the difference. This one doesn't last as long on my skin, and it's just a little bit sweeter.

I definitely find a difference between original Profumo and the special blend. I pick up a slight kind of spicy Dr Pepper or root beer like vibe mixed behind the salty marine notes and incense. I found it a little off and because of that, I favor the original. However, my first night wearing special blend it was very well received, even one girl walked past me and stopped dead in her tracks. I do find the performance to be a bit stronger. I found this would project for 3hrs as where the original Profumo is around 2hrs. The overall longevity was also stronger at about 7hrs as compared to 5/6 hrs with the original. Overall, it's still the great AdG DNA and it performs a bit better then the original Profumo. Girls just love the smell of this frag, OG or Special Blend.

The patchouli in the Special Blend has a unique origin: it was selected and harvested in Guatemala, as part of an ethical sourcing program established by the Firmenich fragrance house. For this special occasion, the black bottle is adorned with gold reflections. The best part of this is the drydown, the patchouli and incense really shine through and are very pleasant. The aquatic, fresh smell remains all the way throughout. There is still a synthetic element to it, especially in the opening. The note of balsam fir is missing from the Fragrantica description. Projects well for the first few hours and lasts about 8 hours in total. It seems to cause olfactory fatigue, you think it's gone and then an hour or two later it hits you with a lovely, dark, sweetness.

Seeing how everyone’s nose is different I won’t argue with people who say this smells just like Profumo. HOWEVER, I feel it it’s actually much more different. This one to me is geared towards the winter as to where Profumo would be fall, spring, summer nights. I agree that this is a little sweeter than the others, but what I noticed the most is the incense is more up front and detectable. I am also picking up some spice, but that could just be the rosemary and sage playing tricks on me. This is a winner and I understand why people wouldn’t buy this if they already have Profumo, but if you are really into this line and it’s flankers it is definitely worth getting for that extra demension that it offers.

Don ́t know how to say it, but it works much better for me. Specially the dry down, and longevity. Found a good deal on SB and got it. Blind buy. I think is much better in the same direction, not different, but can ́t tell exactly why. Maybe sweeter (?)

I get a much more noticeable geranium note versus the regular Profumo. I like them both.

I usually love most fragrances by Armani, I might be the only person that enjoyed ‘Stronger with you’ but just to echo what’s been said, it’s basically the same as the normal ADG Profumo. It’s disappointing for me because I was really looking forward to trying it, the nerve of the sales staff to try and push it as being ‘much sweeter’ as if I don’t have a working nose. I need very little encouragement to buy a half decent new release but the lack of any noticeable change to the scent and worse performance in my opinion = no sale

This is pretty much the same scent as the original. The only difference I can feel is that this Special Blend is slightly more vivid ans alive than the previous Profumo. It is a small diffetence but exist. They are not identical fragrances. Other people than you won't be able to detect it. Same feeling and same performance. If I had to buy one of them, this Special Blend would be my choice.

Macy's promoted this one heavily and it honestly smells so similar to ADG Profumo that it seems like a commercial attempt at luring in niche-heads to buy this flanker. Stick with Profumo or better yet buy you some Perry Ellis 360 Red. You're entitled to your opinion, do what you want to but I see this one as a money grab for Armani, not a genuinely different fragrance.

This is awful. There is no difference in this than the Profumo. It has the same note breakdown. The only difference is the patchouli was harvested from somewhere else. It does not smell different at all. This is what people in high school smelled like in the 90's and what half the guys at any bar smell like on any given night.

I wasn’t expecting this to smell any different than the rest of the Acqua Di Gio line, like everyone else here, but this one was just a scrubber on me. I was seriously getting a little anxious with how synthetic and potent this stuff was. I wouldn’t buy this if you have Profumo or any of the others. Been there, done that.

People that say it smells different than Profumo are lying. It’s the exact same ingredients and note breakdown. They merely used patchouli from a different farm and realized they could use it as a marketing gimmick by calling it “special blend” even though it’s not. It’s just regular ADG Profumo with no difference at all.

Hello all, a fragrance "noob" here. In December of last year, I had a sudden fascination with fragrance, thanks mostly due to YouTube. I recently discovered there was an alternate blend of Acqua Di Gio Profumo called Special Blend. Having fell in love with the original blend of Profumo, I had to get my nose on this Special Blend version. I tracked down a bottle of it online and decided to bite the bullet and I ordered it up. I happened to still have some of my sample of the regular Profumo blend, and decided to put my nose to the test. Was the Special blend worth hunting down? Are they the same fragrance in two different bottles? Was it all a conspiracy to suck us free of our hard earned cash? At the end of the day, would my untrained nose even be able to tell the difference? I owed it to myself, and the perfume community at large to put these two fragrances head to head. LOL! The final outcome was surprising to me, and to my GF. On my left arm I sprayed one spray from the bottle of Special blend. On my right arm I sprayed two sprays of the original blend from a sample sprayer from Sephora. Yes, it got two sprays, but those are tiny/weak sprays compared to the actual bottle, so I thought it was fair. The results were that the Special Blend did indeed smell different than the original Profumo blend. In my opinion, the Special Blend smelled like a more refined version of the fragrance. The slightly piercing incense/patchouli notes (I think that's what they are) really are toned down. Don't get me wrong here, I LOVE that slightly piercing scent, and it's what draws me to this fragrance, so I am not saying it's bad in the original blend. I'm just saying that it's more prominent there. Like the reviews say, it does smell a bit sweeter as well, but that could be placebo effect from reading that descriptor so many times. I sincerely don't know. However, I sincerely DO know that to my nose, these fragrances definitely do smell a bit different. Not miles apart, of course, but they do differ from one another. On to performance. The Special Blend radiated quite a bit more than the original Profumo for about five hours or so. I mean it was coming at me in waves. Beautiful, glorious, and wonderful waves...but then something happened... Once I reached around the six hour point, I noticed that the regular Profumo blend was still going, and at this point was becoming a more powerful scent than the Special Blend. WHAAA???? Yes my friends, that opening with the stronger incense/patchouli was still rocking out on my fragrance devouring skin. I think I had discovered something. When my GF got home (she was gone all day and had no idea of what blend was on either arm) I had her sniff one side, then the other. She instantly pointed to my right arm (with the original blend) and said "That one". I laughed and said, "Yeah, it's stronger at this point isn't it?". She agreed and I told her what was what. In conclusion, I really feel that BOTH of these, are two of my favorite fragrances at this time. I mean, real loves for me. I also believe that they are different in smell and perform differently on my skin. The Special Blend has very nice projection for around five hours on my skin and then begins to slowly die down to become closer to a skin scent at about 7-8 hours (projecting only a few inches at that time). The original blend doesn't project as hard, however it maintains its projection and performance power for another 1-2 hours after the Special Blend begins to weaken a bit. I am extremely happy with my purchase of Special Blend, being especially happy with the performance and projection. I was worried that such an expensive bottle would disappoint me in that area, but it was not a let down at all. I also feel that it's worth owning BOTH of these blends if you enjoy this fragrance as much as I do. They smell different enough, and perform different enough that I feel both can be easily justified. Now to save my pennies up again, to get that full bottle of the regular Profumo blend.

i paste the same review of the PROFUMO version, in my nose they are quite the same, if there are dfiferences, they are minimal. i extremely love this perfume. the first time i smelt it i was confused tryng to understand from where this paradisiac perfume was coming from. this perfume to me is the scent of the black rocks of a volcano in an island in the middle of the mediterranean sea (and first time i smelt it i did not ever saw the tv spot where there are black rocks) i had the classic Acqua di Giò PROFUMO and now the SPECIAL BLEND, they are extremily similar. It was very hard to improve the legendary Acqua di Giò (that is too used from everybody) but Morillas did it. Is citrusy, aquatic but very, very elegant. i do not think is only for evening but for day too, i do not imagine it in autumn or winter. is more mature tahn the original, more classy, misterious, elegant; is perfectly balanced and it smell really , really, really amazign in my opinion. in my taste, is one of the best perfumes ever. to get the SPECIAL BLEND or the PROFUMO? in my opinion, the one with the lower price.

I managed to get my hands on a bottle of this- man this stuff is rare. Barely 1 listing on eBay at one given time. I only wanted to get my hands on to test it as I love the original Profumo. Upon the first few minutes sniffing it I was able to clarify; oceanic vibe dialed back, incense & darker notes amplified. Not quite sure I sense more sweetness as others have said. Maybe slight more sweetness? Hardly though if any. This is legit a hybrid of the original Profumo & Essenza which ironically gives a very close likeness to Sauvage Parfum when combined. It's uncanny! Sauvage Parfum based on the note listing has no incense more vanilla & tonka in the base so not sure how both of there are able to smell so much alike. This is more so Sauvage Parfum without the pepper. Overall; Meh. Thankfully I didn't blow the $300+ eBay prices. Especially since Sauvage parfum smells like a dog foot to me LOL. The original smells more tropical dreamy and is a better balance of all the notes. I would not recommend spending high costs on this. More sampling it for reference if you can. 5/10

had the chance to test this from an atomiser, I must say I really like it a lot! very strong patchouli and incense smell which is really great! Mainly use it for office wear which has been fantastic. no compliments yet but no complaints either. I dont care because I love this scent for this sort of occasion so I will definitely keep wearing this in the long run. Never had the chance to do a side-by-side comparison with the other profumo, but from memory they're 95% similar with the special blend main difference being A LITTLE BIT SWEETER DUE TO THAT BETTER PATCHOULI AND INCENSE. the original is fresher though. MY HONEST OPINION - THIS IS A LITTLE BIT BETTER, BUT ONLY BY 5%. If you have the money then purchase this AFTER testing it out first if you like it. I will personally get this know while its still in the market in a reasonable high price. I just got my hands on Acqua di Gio Profuomo Special Blend today, and I got a chance to test in on the other hand, and the original Acqua di Gio Profuomo on the other. There is a difference, yet not that big. The Special Blend in a little more rich and full, but has a very similar smell in the end. Something like 90% similar to the original Profuomo. They say in the Special Blend that it has a new patchouli on it, which makes a difference. As said: on side by side comparison it is similar, yet a little different. A bit darker, a bit richer. The Profuomo is a little bit fresher and has more of that sea note. Both of the Profuomo's are good, and similar to the original Acqua di Gio, but better in my opinion. It has lasted me for the whole work day, 8 hours, and I think the sillage was good too. Kinda hard to be sure, since it's the first day I tested this one. Gotta keep wearing it! Love so far!

Smells fuller, drier, smokier, and sweeter than ADG Profumo. I don't think there's any debate that the Special Blend is the better fragrance for the first 2 hours. But after that, once they dry down, there's virtually no difference between the two. Completely indistinguishable. The Special Blend maybe keeps some of that dryness over the freshness of Profumos dry down but it doesn't translate to anything in the projection. They smell the same in the air. If this was 2017 I would've recommended paying a couple bucks extra for this because ultimately it is the better fragrance in my opinion. But right now in 2019, considering how rare the Special Blend is, it's just a waste of time and money to search for the Special Blend. Just buy Profumo and enjoy this killer DNA.

The best AdG smells like sand. Like clean sand. Anyone who grew up around beaches knows the relation. This smells like clean sand, at night, with a boat jacket on the rocks where the geranium grows where the inland geranium grows. It's subdued, and it takes the best from aquatics and makes it organic. It's supple, sparkly and earthy. But it does carry the AdG DNA if you like that. Me, I've stayed away for a while. I wore AdG for about 4-5 years back when it first was released. Sometimes got old, but smells different on everyone. The geranium here can be a bit rubbery but nothing like the geranium/benzoin/cardamom combo of Rojas Enigma Cologne. Amazing, wears well.

As already stated, the only difference between this and the original AdG Profumo is that they harvested the patchouli from Guatemala instead of wherever the hell they usually get it from. Marketing says this tweaks the smell a bit but nobody will be able to tell the difference on you – they're 99.9% the same. Only reason to get this over the original is if you're a collector. But I guess seeing as they're the same price it doesn't really matter. Kind of a silly release but it's still the same great fragrance as the original.
