The complaints about Armani Code EDP 2024 (EDP24) are, in my opinion, preferences mischaracterized as flaws. Every time I’ve worn any of them—from Profumo (2016), Colonia (2017), Absolu (2019), EDP (2021), Parfum (2022), to EDP (2024)—I’ve received tons of compliments. Despite the critiques people seem to love dishing out on the Code line, it might not get out and start your car for you, but they sure do smell damn good and are clearly appreciated. Compared to Profumo (2016), this EDP feels less intense and more refined—making it a great option for those who enjoy the Code DNA but prefer a more subtle elegance over bold spice. If you’re curious, don’t let the naysayers hold you back. Try it for yourself—because it's not about being niche or daring. Sometimes, just smelling great is enough... unless you’re actually expecting it to start your car for you.

Finally this was added to the database. I suggested it a few days ago and couldn't believe that this wasn't on here sooner. For some reason I thought that there was a typo on a sample that I got at a perfume store that I visited, that's how little I watch youtube and other forms of social media these days on fragrances. I love this. This is an absolute 10/10. I wasn't expecting to love this as much as I do as flankers can go either way, Code EDT had big shoes to fill and this didn't disappoint. Compared to the original version of code before the new bottles released to me this is a fantastic update to it. I can absolutely see the Dr. Pepper like references to it. This is a slightly sweeter and cleaner take on it. I was worried that I'd never get to experience Code Profumo without paying stupid amounts of money from shills online but when my Code EDT runs out I'm not going to hesitate and buy this. It's very easy to wear, nothing strange like cumin, oud or anything along those lines where you've got let those notes grow on you. No this could be someones first designer fragrance and they will appreciate it to of course someone who already has had quite a lot of fragrances, I really like this direction the fragrance has taken. I'd wear this during the night time, formal occasions, expensive dinners, date night, cooler weather. It'll be harder to not find reasons not to wear this.

(Code Profumo owners, refer to update 2) Got this in the mail recently after hearing it has a really close resemblance to the discontinued Profumo, and I was not disappointed! I give it an 80-85% similarity rate to Profumo, which has been my signature scent for the last 10 years. It's so close and so good!! Genuinely so happy I found this Update: not only is this a spectacular standalone fragrance, but my GOD this is a layering beast too. There's almost no fragrance this won't layer well with from what messing around I've done in my collection the last couple weeks. There's nothing more I can say than: buy it. Holy shit just buy it!! Update 2: I've owned a 4.2oz bottle of this for a few months now. Ran through almost half the bottle in the first month, decided to let it rest and it's been aging on my counter ever since. Still having a small amount of Code Profumo left, I decided to spray that and the 2024 Code EDP on each arm to compare. I'm actually blown away about how much more similar it smells to Profumo now with how little time it's had to mature. Whereas before I gave it an 80-85% similarity rate, now I give it a 95-98% similarity rate smelling them both SIDE-BY-SIDE. This thing is damn near indistinguishable to Code Profumo now, only major difference is Profumo still performs a bit better than this. Armani whatever you do, DO NOT DISCONTINUED THIS ONE!!

Armani Code EDP: Profumo that grew up. I wore Code Profumo religiously in my early 20s and was gutted when it got discontinued, so I came into the EDP braced for disappointment. Instead this thing is about 90% of the way there, and if I'm being honest the 10% it changed is why I love it. Same core DNA: that warm vanilla-and-cola tonka thing Profumo did so well is still the beating heart of it. Green mandarin keeps the opening from getting heavy, there's a spiced nutmeg warmth through the middle, and it all settles into a honeyed, slightly tobacco-tinged tonka base. But where Profumo was a bit of a sweet bomb (loud, sugary, made to grab a 20-year-old by the collar), the EDP takes that exact same idea and blends it smoother and more restrained. The sweetness is still there, it's just not the whole personality anymore. Now that I'm almost 30, it fits perfectly. It's Profumo with the volume turned down and the tailoring turned up. Same comfort and nostalgia, but it reads adult instead of eager. If you missed Profumo, this is the closest thing to filling that hole, and in some ways it's the version I actually want at this age. Scent: 9/10 Sillage: 7/10 Projection: 7.5/10 Longevity: 8/10

Armani described this as a “modernized version of the timeless 2004 classic Armani Black Code,” and I couldn’t agree more. As someone who’s collected fragrances for nearly two decades, I’ve always had a soft spot for the Armani Code line—as my late father wore the original 2004. Unlike the 2021 EDP version with the gold cap (which leaned toward Prada Luna Rossa Sport, and I also enjoy), this one channels the 2004 original and even nods to the discontinued Profumo and Absolu with that warm tonka, nutmeg, and soft leather base, (I own all 3) Many have questioned performance, but I think that’s partly due to unrealistic expectations. Not every scent is meant to roar like Dior Sauvage Elixir. This one performs beautifully within its lane—6 to 8hrs consistently with a smooth, confident trail that’s refined rather than loud. This has become one of my favorites as I simplify my collection to 40 - 50. It’s sophisticated, balanced, and quietly seductive—the kind of fragrance that never goes out of style.

Im sorta new to the fragrance hobby and I wanted to get a good signature, I ordered a crap ton of samples from both designer and niche companies, I found a lot that I liked but nothing was perfect, until I tried this, this stuff is absolutely perfect imo, and they’re definitely way more notes than what is listed on here, the opening is a fresh sorta green citrusy smell with a nice dark sweetness, it’s great, and the dry down is even better, it’s a really sweet sort of almond type vanilla a little different then other Tonka bean notes I’ve smelled that’s not the amazing part the amazing part is this very cola like smell that I’m not really sure where it comes from but it’s amazing it reminds me of cherry Dr Pepper, it’s pretty unique and absolutely beautiful I immediately made this my signature, and I’m definitely buying another bottle Ps: sorry if I don’t sound like I know what I’m talking about I’m pretty new all I know is this stuff smells yummy asf😭🙏

i respect everyones elses opinion, but i tell you, this smells absolutely amazing,10/10, it is just as good as the discountinued code profumo, ill say even more wearable since profumo was very very sweet which this one isnt, this scent carries the same code profumo dna but with little tweakings here and there, and by saying that i mean that i find this to be less sweet and more aromatic than code profumo, ive tried this scent at the store 3 or 4 times and when i did couldnt stop smelling my wrist,btw, never ever rely 100% on fragantica reviews as your main standard when it comes to buying or not buying a fragance, go smell it yourself at the store and if you like it either get it from a discounter site or buy it on the spot if you have the bread to pay retail, i dont think it is that expensive anyway compared to other new designer releases from other brands like chanel, ysl etc performance: 7/10 scent:10/10 uniqueness: 6/10 price: 8/10

Finally Armani stopped messing around with the Code line and released a good fragrance. I personally was extremely disapointed with the direction they took after discontinuing Profumo/Absolu, which were both incredible. This smells great ! It's extremely gourmand, smooth and comforting. Good job Armani, I hope you'll re-release the Parfum one with a formulation close to Absolu. What's a bit sad is that, while this smells like Profumo, it isn't as potent. Profumo had better performance. Which is a bummer. But hey at least it smells very good and the performance isn't bad at all. EDIT : it lasts an eternity and projects pretty well. Not as much as Profumo, but still way above average. The late dry down is INSANELY sweet.

Bought it a couple weeks ago. So far I love this fragrance. I have the old edp and the new one is very different. The new one is stronger and has more of a backbone to it. I like the old one a lot but prefer this one a lot more. I get this awesome dark root beer/cola vibe going on with some fizzy sweetness and a little freshness to it from the orange. I get really good performance so far. Projects heavy to my nose off of one spray and lasts a long time. I’ve never smelt profumo but I feel like I’ve missed out hearing they have similarities. I did smell absolu and like it a lot but it was a little too sweet for my taste I don’t smell that in this one despite others opinions. This one is a masterpiece to me so far!

Armani code profumo was the first designer fragrance that I ever owned, gifted to me by my mom for my 18th birthday 5 years ago. About 3.5 years ago I finished that bottle and thought that it was the last time I would smell it since I refused to pay the crazy aftermarket prices. Before my 23rd birthday i decided to buy myself a 5ml decant of this to remind myself of what profumo smelled like. My expectation were low and I had my doubts BUT OH MY.... This is as close to profumo as I can remeber, it instantly reminded me of high school memories were I would daily this scent. To everybody trying to scalp a profumo bottle just do yourself a favor and sample this. Hopefully they won’t disontinue this one too 🙃

The original Armani Code was the first cologne I got as a teen from my dad in high school. It was the Eau de Toilette version. Lot of memories with this, I used to think this was THE adult cologne becuase my uncle always wore it. The eau de parfum version solves the longevity and sillage issues that the eau de toilette version had. This is a very masculine cologne that I would imagine you would wear with some nicer clothing during a evening out with your girl or your friends. Has some powder to it, smells like a shower gel at times, with a hint of spice. 8/10 cant go wrong with it. if i had to give it a vibe i'd say bruce wayne from batman begins. It gives mid 2000s business guy

There are a few fragrances that are popular right now that all do similar things exceedingly well. 1) Valentino borne in Roma intense 2) YSL Myslf EDP 3) Armani Code EDP and possibly 4) Azzaro The most wanted EDP intense. I own all 4 and they're not so repetitive that you shouldn,'t do the same, but there's a combination of sweet, dusty and bright vanilla powder that just kills it during spring and early summer. Of the bunch, code edp is the best for the office. There's something classy, professional, yet laid back about this fragrance that outshines the rest. The best time to smell is in the spring. Screw it.... I'll weat this in any season if it feels likely to work.

.... The first Armani code I bought was the now discontinued Code Profumo. My wife LOVED that one.. and when I ran out I tried the new variation of code Parfum. Worn it multiple times over the last couple years and never once has my wife commented and or complained about it. But this edp version is the closest to the discontinued Profumo. Pay No never mind to the haters in the comments. They just mad at life in general.!!! This one slaps in a good way✅ 10/10 best code IMO better than the parfum version as that one sits closer to the skin for me . Longevity on skin is acceptable, and it’s nearly eternal on clothing. Adjust the sprays for summer and wear it year round.

Finally. I got it for quite some time but couldn't share my thoughts here. It's one of my best purchases this year I don't remember how profumo smelled but I don't think they're identical. This one is just super good. Little oldschool but not in a barber shop way No, it smells like it was released around the time of code profumo (2016) Spicy sweet elegant. My T-shirt smelled for a week with it. In the sea of weak fragrances this one is a pleasent surprise. I can recommend it with all my heart. I got myself largest 125ml bottle to match my Code profumo and I couldn't be more happy with. 9.5/10 fragrance Awesome

Now owning this one, makes me wish I bought Profumo or Absolu. This is fresh with that "Rootbeer" type of vibe. Damn, I was missing out. If you've smelled the EDT and Parfum, you know what the opening DNA will be like, but that Rootbeer creaminess is fantastic. I will have to buy the Parfum because it is overall "Fresher", but this EDP is something I didn't have in my collection so I'm happy with it. Plus, it lasts 6-7 hours, and my wife legitimately enjoys it. There's numerous fragrances she dislikes greatly. If she likes it, it's a keeper in my book.

It's nice and easy kind of perfume comparable to Bleu de Chanel or Dior Sauvage. Highly recommend if you want to smell good and want to get compliments. But performance is not long lasting and projection is poor as well. So you got to be rich to spray every hour or so to get it going. Kinda not so practical for regular people out there for its high price point. Few may say it's a winter night fragrance, but to me its wearable in all weather, but hot sun is going to burn its smell in few minutes I guess.

I like them both. The 2021 and this 2024. But as much as 2021 is yeah good, then this one is absolute🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😎 I love it It's been growing on me more and more recently. My top three release of 2024. Sweet but not in a JPG or Paco Rabanne oh no, this one is spicy sweet, lovely strong aroma and it's long lasting (finally something long lasting in designers realm) I absolutely love the New Armani code EDP 2024. I'm so glad I got the biggest bottle and probably it won't be the last for me.

Smells very similar to the discontinued Profumo, but comparing longevity and projection with Profumo, this is just weak sauce. Profumo projected 5-7x more and lasted twice as long. This 2024 Code Eau de parfum needs a lot of heat to project. I get only 3-4 hours out of this new fragrance and becomes a skin scent within 30 min. I'm frankly quite disappointed about it, and it's almost criminal the ask about the same price as what you pay for the Parfum, which performs 10 times better.

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the reformulation and re-release of it all with the confusing way Armani operates, but I’d like to take a step back and think about this fragrance in isolation. To me it comes across as a sweet, modern take on the barbershop DNA. Not a million miles away from something in the Le Male line, but without the signature mint/lavender accord. Can definitely be a versatile day and night fragrance for a wide age range outside of hot summer days.

I tried this in the airport on my way home from work a while ago and it has been in the back of my mind ever since. It kind of scratched an itch the original Code just couldn’t. I went to a perfume store today to retest it, and it was just as amazing as i remembered. It’s a sweeter and more alluring version of Code, and it hits all the right spots. I tried the Parfum and Elixir versions as well, but the EDP just triumphs. Ordered a bottle and can’t wait to wear it.

Just like the first new Armani Code Parfum and EDT are an interpretation of Prada Luna Rossa, this new EDP is an interpretation of the Luna Rossa Sport flanker. It's therefore also related to the Le Male range. PS. It does NOT smell like Armani Code Profumo (not warm woody spicy) or any other Armani for that matter. The reminds me of section is pure nonsense so far and very misleading. I feel sorry for the blindbuyers, because they will be so disappointed.

Smells like nutmeg and tonka all the way through, the first 1-2 hours however will have some of that Og code DNA with citrusy and powdery notes. Fresh spicy, and creamy is the best way I can describe it. Very familiar scent but at the same time kinda unique, also smells unisex to my nose. Scent: 8.5/10 Performance: 7/10 Edit: Projection on this is really dissapointing, lasts weeks on clothes but does project at all.

Okay, Armani Code is the cheat code for fragrances. I basically wore this scent everywhere—work, gym, just chilling with the family. It’s the definition of a dependable, daily driver. It hits that perfect sweet spot: perfectly sweet and attractive, but it's never too loud or try-hard. It doesn't scream 'look at me!'—it just smells fantastic and effortless in every context. Seriously, such a solid all-rounder. : 8/10

Long last about 6-8 hours, i can smell the mandarin clearly and the tonka beans and its perfect for any weather (in my opinion), the lady who escorted this to me was right, this is the best fragrance i ever smelled this year. Rate 9/10 if more silage this would be perfect but too much sprays can be annoying i would suggest do 2-4 nothing else. (im joking its a 10 im gate keeping this mf...)

Profumo brought back to life. This stuff is smooth, does a lot without lifting a finger it seems like. I believe it is a fall and spring fragrance. Would go with something lighter in the summer and heavier in the winter, however, this isn’t heavy, so summer evenings or even summertime mostly in air conditioned rooms would be fine and wouldn’t come off weird. So it’s pretty versatile.

I am %100 percent sure, some of the people write under the wrong edition of Code. This one has a very very strong Tonka note, from beginning to the end. I personally find it so elegant, but it is not what people describe it here, I feel. Not so powdery or ambery. I have EDT version too, EDT smells more like new Dior Homme then this one. Old variety/line system was better...

First time owning a code. It's a nice spicy vanilla easy autumn winter wear. Nothing complex or particularly unique but that's ok. Longevity and projections are just ok too, but nothing special. I'm not going to say how long on my skin as everyone is different but fair to say moderate. If you find it on a discounter defo pick it up. Full price prob not worth it.

for me it has nothing to do with profumo. Profumo was a leather vanilla bomb in a one million style. Profumo was cloying And too sweet i hated it because was too similar to one million.. EDP 2024 in my opinion is more similar to the 2021 edp but better balanced with and improved slightly less sweet and less cloying .. this is by far the best code of the Line

I'm in love with this fragrance, it definitely smells like Cola. I would also say this fragrance is probably the most realistic Coca-Cola scent out there, in my opinion. It's fresh with the amazing mandarin notes but also warm, mature and spiced from the nutmeg and tonka bean. The best Armani Code fragrance 10/10.

Bought this blindly because a lot of review stated its almost 100% similiar to the discountinued Profumo. I have to say they were absolutely right! The opening is a bit freshier with spicy notes for me. But when the drydrown comes it becomes the goated Profumo! Armani made a GOAT once again, love this fragrance!

Don’t remember Profumo well enough to comment, but I do own Absolu and they’re very different to my nose. Absolute is super punchy, strong, sweet, leathery, fruity. This is much more reserved, polite, versatile; a noteless melange of hazy, powdery tonka in shower gel form. Super wearable for me, and I love it.

Really love how this frag smells, but the performance is wack asf. Been wearing this daily for a week, I usually do 3 sprays with any frag, but with this I find myself doing 8-12 sprays. Even with over spraying it's still very weak, does not project at all, and turns to a skin scent after 20 minutes.

Absolutely great version of code. Very much like it it reminds lot of profumo version but its lot fresher and easier to wear. I think if you loved profumo you should try this it depends on you which one you prefer. But it still is lot of fresh than profumo and also remind lot of new edt and parfum.

So extremely sexy. I love it no matter what weather or time. Sexiest male fragrance ever made. So sweet and powdery, can smell gourmand at times. I personally think it smells like delicious chocolate-y cookie powder dream. Not everyone gets what i mean. But it is sooooo delicious and sexy to me.

Beautiful sweet orangey fragrance that has above average projection and sillage. Lasts about 5-6 hours and smells very very pleasant. I cant find anything about this to dislike other than the new price on what clearly just a parfum version of the original EDT. Discounter special !!

It's a smoother, better Profumo. I also get a bit of absolu in there as well. It's a Love for me. I personally get great longevity..7-9hrs. I've been rotating this and the Parfum and these are both elevated, refined and very well received by those around me---compliment heavy.

i smelled armani code Eau de Parfum today and i loved it. it settled powdery on my skin and then I got like kinda of a plum smell idk why its not listed but it feels like a unisex fragrance tho not masculine at all just a clam fragrance really nice 9/10!

Yeah this is absolutely amazing. I loved Profumo, which this smells like, but never bought a bottle because it only lasted around 2 hours on my skin. However, this Armani Code EDP has lasted 8+ hours on my skin today, making it an immediate buy for me.

very strong root beer sarsaparilla root feel to it. it is well blended, smooth, and has great performance. it basically just boils down to whether or not you're a fan of the root beer smell. i enjoy it but i much prefer code parfum.

@Tigerclaw_3000 Because of the Tonka note. Vanilla and Tonka act similarly in a perfume. They have distinctive flavors in real life, but are very close as ingredients in perfumery, both having Coumarin as the main aroma compound.

My first introduction to the Code line. This EDP is a lovely versatile scent. Powdery, spicy but smooth, elegant and sophisticated. Long lasting and already got two compliments in my office. 9/10 fragrance for me. Amazing smell

This is much better than profumo and abslou, this edp reminds me more of the original code first batches the old bottle, the depth and texture is something beautiful. The best code release in the last years definitely. 10/10

Coke? Love it! Might be my first sweet frag. Smells different from all the other vanilla tonkabean stuff. While still having it in. Reminds me of Le Male. Edit: After wearing a few times. It feels mid and not worth buying.

Love it. It's more of a cold weather perfume (winterish cold Europe) and sweet in my opinion. However, given I'm living in Melbourne Auatralia, it's cold 90% of the year and therefore suitable for my day time as well.

I tested this once randomly at a discounter and never stopped thinking about it until I bought it. Its such a unique, memorable scent, I highly recommend it. I'd even go ahead and say it's blind buy safe.

Absolutely love this. The opening reminds me of a fresh cracked can of Coca Cola, it fades down to a sweet tasty powdery vanilla. Longevity is an easy 8 hours. Perfect scent for cold nights out.

This perfume smells like the best Coke and vanilla ice cream you've ever had—sweet, fizzy, and rich. It’s really that good and leaves a delicious scent bubble of about 2-3 feet with 6 sprays

I’m leaning towards the perspective that this is a code profumo/ code parfum hybrid. There’s enough lightness to this that is versatile beyond cold weather and night wearing.

Just wow... from a pretty straight forward opening, this dries down to maybe the best drydown I've ever smelt. Top ten fragrance!

My favorite Armani Code. Sometimes I’ll layer it with one spray of Armani Code EDP (2021) for more longevity & warmth.
