Armani Code Turquoise for Men

Fantastic fresh fragrance, not very complex but good quality and most importantly, it is invigorating. Performanceseemed to be fine, i wonder if other reviews are basing their judgement on a quick spritz at the store?

I really wanted to love this fragrance because I bought into the whole marketing campaign. I liked the bottle, the juice color, I was ready for something lighter after all the "Blacks & Intense's" I had sitting on my shelf... So I sprayed it. And you know, I really liked the scent. Then I went to get a coffee and run a few errands. I brought my wrist to my nose and it was GONE. 30 minutes? It doesn't seem that this one is very long lasting. Or maybe once it dries down the base is just very light. I will probably get murdered for saying this but I actually like Armani Ice better. I like the synthetic Mint.

The great thing about this fragrance is the bottle. I was instantly drawn in to this because it looked so beautiful and inviting. The smell is very nice, very fresh and sweet. But it isn't anything special, I'm afraid this might fall into the category of "what to give my cousin for a first fragrance".

I smelled it today in a gift shop. It's smells really really nice, I think it's a perfect summer fragrance, not to strong and not to weak.

Certainly this is very similar to the Summer Code versions from previous years, yet this comes across as less sweet and somehow a touch more 'formal' than those. Despite the presence of the grapefruit and neroli in the top notes this doesn't resemble Code Sport or Code Sport Athlete at all to my nose. It does stick very close to the original Code formula in that the olive tree and musky wood base are quite prominent throughout. The absence of any tonka or tobacco notes from the original Code keeps the sweetness to a minimum, allowing the freshness of this Turquoise version to shine through. Although amber is listed in the note pyramid, I failed to detect any at all. Both sillage and longevity are tame, but to be expected from this type of fragrance marketed as a scent inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and intended for the summer season. This is a very safe but still lovely addition to the Armani Code line for men. The bottle is simple but gorgeous!

Amazingly one day I found a seller was selling this rare item on Vinted with reasonable price, so finally I got this one! To give a short impression on this one: yes, it is close to code summer , the top note are very similar indeed, but this one after dry down, it has a very woody base, so woody that is not really found in any of the other code flankers. This woody conclusion makes me feel a bit hard to connect with the flanker name “turquoise”, because the color of the scent to me ends up more like “woody beige” hahaha. The bottle is very beautiful though. I am over the moon to finally have this one in my full Armani code collection. (Now only Armani Code Private Blend is missing, the final one missing!)

I went hunting one day.. and out of 15 new scents I tested, this was definitely the most attractive and addictive. It is not offensive tropical sexiness, it's the kind of scent you could shower yourself with and it wont be too much simply because the blend is so fine, there is no spice too sharp or an annoying exceeding element. I would use it myself. (I'm a girl) Most definitely unisex, I think it's sexy and can compliment all genders. I get alot of aquatic notes that aren't even listed. It feels ozonic and oceanic like some CK One flanker with D&G dna. And.... It didn't last long. Oh, and that's too bad. Pass.

The bottle looks amazing! I really like the bottle design of Armani Code line and I think this one took it to an even higher level of beauty. When it comes to the juice inside however, lack of creativity is evident. Don't get me wrong, it smells really nice. But to be honest it's very close to the original. It can be even called - as sometimes used by my fellows here to mock flankers - a 'watered down' version! This being said, if I want to buy Armani Code and ONLY wear it in warmer weather, this would be my choice.

I hope that, if this is a Replacement to the Summer Code for men, that is smells almost exactly alike. If this is not the case and Armani finally stops offering the Summer Code for this summer, I will really ticked. Looks like the base notes are the same but the Summer Code appears to have more notes and perhaps more interesting. WE shall see. For those who have tried this..how does this compare to Summer Code?

It is hopeless: whatever you do, marketing will always be one step ahead. I bought today the Athlete version, to discover here that Turquoise will be launced soon...More or less the same fragrances they are - maybe on different skins some versions might smell a little bit more better...

Gorgeous fragrance, with poor sillage and poor longevity (2 hours tops on my skin). Not worthy of getting a whole bottle really...just get something better...

Why people still vote in fragrances that even has been launched yet!?!! They come from the future or just playing stupid???

Tried it today, it smells good but i still prefer the 2010 summer code more.
