Armani Code Turquoise for Women

There must be something wrong with my scent perception, because i smell almost an entirely different perfume from what most people here describe... I do smell sourness in the beginning, freshness and lightness, but soon after, this morphs into cream! An amazing summer cream! It is so pretty and calming... but not aquatic at all! Weird thing skin chemistry, n'es pas?

If you like orange blossom, you'll have it. I had thought it was a reformulation of another limited edition, Armani Code Summer (and maybe I'm right). BTW, I liked it and I'm sorry I can't find it anywhere now. Marketed as a summer eau fraîche, it's not meant to last long.

For all who think this might be a more subtle version of the original Armani Code, don't buy it blind. It is certainly not very comparable, I would even say it generates totally different impressions and associations. It's less powdery, more spicy in a peppery way, and to me it seems more vivid. Since my impression of the original Armani Code is seductiveness in a balmy-powdery way with a lot of Orangenotes, this one is more sweet and uplifting, with a sharp edge and fresher notes. The drydown is quite sensual though. All in all it is a day-time Parfume with a sensual note which is neither flamboyant nor plain. I like it and sometimes I would spray it on while going shopping or heading to a café with some friends.You don't always have to be a catwoman or striking your surrounding with Thierry Mugler, so this is a save option for all the Flower ladies who want to give themselves a touch of bold zest. I can detect it even 72h after spraying it on my trenchcoat, which is quite good. I would say it's rather linear but not in a bad way. 6,5 of 10 Stars.

This is summer in a bottle for me! It's more fresh citrusy than floral, it's like a cold, fizzy lemonade with some mint leaves crushed in it, because even though not listed, I get some minty vibes from it, probably it's the ginger note that makes this impression on me. I think this fragrance works on men too,I've tested it on my husband and I liked the way it smelled on him, so you can say it's kind of unisex. It also has an aquatic feel to it, which I highly enjoy.

Nice scent for summer and warm spring days. Starts very citrusy, then orange blossom and neroli kick in. I don't get any pear, but on the other hand ginger notes are prominent, adding spicyness to the composition. All in all, fresh scent with happy, summery vibe. Nothing in common with the original Code imo. Not offensive, charming scent with laid back mood. Summer in the city type. Longevity is not impressive - 4-5 hours maybe, then turns into skin scent.

Armani Code is my favorite fragrance so I was excited to see this one thinking it would be my favorite summer scent.At first it was too aquatic for me, then I started to feel the orange&jasmine but still its not a lighter version of the original for me, it's something else.Longevity is very long lasting for a summer scent though. A nice "blue" summer fragrance for day wear, I liked it

Nice bit of summer fun. Quite unlike the original code, though there are similarities once you reach the gingery spicy vanilla dry-down. To me, this is watermelon in a bottle! I like it, but the intrigue, romance and sensuality of the original Code must have been thrown in the swimming pool with this one - all that remains is a playful reminder of Code.

This is very nice summer scent. Fresh and aquatic, lightly white floral and a little fruity. I think it's one of the best summer editions for this year so far. I have no bad words for it. It could be perfect for a hot summer day at the beach or a quiet summer morning in the park.

Nice, typical summery scent, but nothing extraordinary. It lasts long, quite close to the skin. Totally unobtrusive, good for work.

It's very aquatic. I love my orange blossom, but don't really detect any. It smells like a generic, watered down mens cologne to me.

All I get from these is citruses and ginger, nothing spectacular indeed. It smells chilly and refreshing for summer, but the sillage stays close to the skin.

Update: If you like this also try Lakeside Citrus by BBW! It is a good dupe. It has the same light citrusy and peppery, aquatic vibe but it feels abit sweeter!! Great quality lasts 4 hrs on me. Im glad this doesnt smell masculine on me! I am getting the Pour Femme kind of orange blossom here in the opening, NOT the Prada Candy Kiss deeper sweeter type. It's like Pour Femme Intense's and Sublime UDV kind of orange blossom! The orange blossom with the jasmine and neroli (common notes) create an intense high pitched sweetness. In fact Armani Code to my nose smells alot like Sublime and PFI but with more orange and alot deeper and seductive. Code Turquoise opens up with pear reminiscent of Burberry Brit EDT pear: peppery and citrusy. After 5-10 mins the jasmine and ginger become more prominent and so the trio of pear-jasmine-ginger is reminiscent of Shakira's Pop Rock pear/jasmine, abit peppery and fizzy. The neroli is very ozonic here. After 15 mins on my skin, it turns sweeter reminiscent of Black Opium's peppery sweet orange blossom and it is indeed creamy on me. Not sour, but ozonic yet sweet. Very unique type of aquatic scent! Tested it in 85F weather and it felt refreshing. The drydown is mellow and peppery sweet. Projection could be better. I love it!

Armani Code Turquoise is more of an aquatic fragrance than a floral. I find it to be very citrusy and salty on my skin. I own very few aquatic, ocean inspired fragrances as where I live is not particularly warm nor humid. During Summer I find myself wearing dewy white florals and light cologne type citrus scents. I was hoping that Armani Code Turquoise would meet my requirements, especially seeing that I adore Armani Code Luna. It opens with a burst of bitter orange, spicy ginger and green neroli, which can be slightly sour at times. It doesn't feature orange blossom as much as I hoped it would, but I am thankful that the pear note in the heart provides some relief from the sour top notes adding a touch of natural sweetness. The drydown smells of salty wood and somewhat synthetic musk. At this point I must admit that this is not Giorgio Armani's best. The bottle is very pretty, yet the scent leaves me feeling quite disheartened. For a Summer scent, Armani Code Turquoise has excellent longevity lasting a decent 7-8 hours on my skin. Although marketed to women, I would say it's more unisex due to the lack of sweetness and rather bold citrus accords.

A sweet and summery citrus Orange blossom is the big player here and citrus based notes of neroli. Fresh, delicious, not quite like a skin freshner though, because it does have a better projection and longevity despite being simple and a bit linear. The orange blossom reigns over little spices of ginger and a fruity pear. There's also vanilla and light woods. All in all, an excellent fruit-flavored summer citrus fragrance, a pick-me-up scent, something to wear to the beach or to a pool. I love the neroli, the pear and the few florals in it. There's a jasmine that is sweet and freshened up, lightened up. The whole thing cries summer mornings, cool breezes and orange peels. The dry down is a wood note. It has decent longevity and sillage. I think it might be a bit too standard-citrus in it's theme, but I like fragrances like that in the hot summer months. Here in Malibu California the weather is unbearably hot at 90-100s and it's already autumn! I love to wear this with bikinis and shorts. I think the name Turquoise does not aptly represent the scent. This is an orange colored fragrance. They coulve called it Armani Code Orange. Love it

I agree it isnt out of the ordinary, but it smells very pretty,fresh, a bit floral, feminine, a tad aquatic, well balanced, and yes summery...I smelled it a few times and decided to buy it...what more to say, longevity is correct, I like it!! it has a bit of the original in it..just a bit...the new releases for this spring have been bland, this one on the other hand smells great, although I dont get all of the notes listed there....my husband says it smells delicious, and I get compliments all the time!! Nice!!

The opening is aggressively citrusy on me ,later on it transforms into a sweet aquatic. It is ok, but nothing to die for. It is worth trying if you like fresh florals, but honestly, you can find similar fragrances for a third of this price.

Wonderfull light, fresh, masterly blended summery scent differing in some way of the typicall floral fruities or light blueish kind of smell. I feel a strong reminiscence of baby cologne from the old days but much more creamy and soft.
