Armani Eau d’Aromes

Sampled this one along with its brothers Eau de Cedre and Eau de Nuit. Eau d'Aromes is definitely the best of the three. EdA is a lovely orange/ginger fragrance with an underlying herbal floral note, as well as having a several hour life on me. It kinda reminds me of Pal Zileri's Colonia Purissima, but more refined - it fortunately doesn't have the strong lavender like Purissima does. And at a few moments while wearing it, it almost reminded me of Bvlgari Aqva. I guess the herbal notes in EdA were mixing with some sweat and mimicking Aqva's seaweed. . All in all, I like it, and I'm gonna have to get me a bottle sometime. Edit...I should also say that this lasts a good while on me. And just a couple evenings ago, I received one of the best compliments ever. Wore it for the first time with my new boyfriend - he couldn't keep from burying his face in my chest all evening. Later said (and showed) that it was the first time he's had someone's cologne give him an instant arousal.

This fragrance is a gem, probably not the most famous fragrance of Armani, not really Armani style fragrance and probably not the most mass appealing with the youngsters, it’s mainly a more mature scent, let’s say for the +25yrs old. Great for office wear or to wear going to a formal occasion – I can see the resemblance with Eau des Merveilles from Hermès though it’s still different enough to be unique. The scent is not loud and really comforting – today I am wearing it after a long time and on this colder spring day, when I stepped outside this morning, the scent spread around me, the silage is not forte but still enough to get noticed, I am wearing this now since 7 o’clock this morning and I still can smell it clearly on my without smelling my wrist. Though this scent is branded as a men’s fragrance I believe this is really unisex. The opening with the mandarin followed with ginger and the dry down a soapy vetiver.

My fiancé's signature scent. I'm the fraghead between the two of us and he wanted to find something that we both enjoyed. He loves fresh scents and I prefer warm, but we both gravitate to natural smelling, elegant fragrances. We both adore this one. The citrus and vetiver please his desire for freshness and the warm spices suit my preferences as well. Overall, this is a sophisticated, masculine scent. It does not shout or demand attention;it's far to classy for that. There's a timelessness and agelessness to it, the sort of scent that would feel current in the 1950s and 2050s. I also cannot imagine an situation where it would seem inappropriate. It's just appealing, natural, and well blended. It would surprise me to find someone who really doesn't like this. Great if you want something understated and classic. Excellent as a gift and super safe blind buy.

I really enjoyed this fragrance, it opens with a deep, spiced mandarin infused with ginger and some earth from vetiver and patchouli. It's nothing like Hermes TDH by the way, despite the similar notes, Eau d'Aromes isn't dry it's fuller, warmer and almost incense like. Very impressive considering I'm not that fond of the original, Nuit I'll have to try again and Cedre was downright disappointing. I'm glad I like one of this range but it's nothing super remarkable, it's quite the smooth, crowd pleaser really. Also, the longevity was an issue, not the worst in the world but only lasted a few hours before becoming a very low humming skin scent. All in all I have to be positive and say this Armani was worth a sniff for sure and if it was dirt cheap in a sale or something, I'd get a bottle.

Very nice and raffiné scent!!! the mix between agrumes and vetyver is just so perfect and fine tuned!!! I used to love kouros but the first goaty note bothered me a lot. Eau d'aromes has the same fresh and clean impression with more sun in it a perfect match for me in summer!!! Edit : I thought it was quite poor in lasting, but i've been surprised to find a sweater i had forgotten at my parents' home last summer that still smelt it a lot!!! Even my wife asked me why i had changed for my summer fragrance although we were in February... so it's lasting but not overwhelming!!! this is a fragrance for real grown adults that don't need a perfume to express themselves!!!!

An exceptionally pretty scent, with orange and bergamot at the top and vetiver and patchouli at the base. The ginger spices it up, while the sage smooths things out. This isn't the most original fragrance I've ever smelled (the comparisons to other fragrances are many, and almost all of them I've read below are fairly just, particularly the idea of TF Grey Vetiver with a dominant orange note--it also seems to me quite a bit like Chanel Paris-Deauville without the basil), but it sure is pleasing. Anyone could wear this during the day in the warmer months, or even well into the fall. This would also make a great office scent because of its lightness and freshness.

This stuff is beautiful. Can see why people would say its more suited to a more mature man, i get it. But anybody of any age can pull this off fairly easily. Its really pleasant, not harsh smelling in any way like people might sometimes associate with a more stereotypically mature fragrance. I love this stuff, its classy and in my opinion is pretty versatile. At a push i would say its perfect for a wedding, a date, going to brunch. Its not offensive or brash in any way. If you see it at a reasonable price i say grab it. Pure class.

Very nice scent! Try for yourself. At first can be a bit more of a autumn spice but on dry down it sweetens up to a bit more of an aquatic smell. Longevity and projection is interesting with this one. At times it can all but dissappear and then at times it reminds you its still there and how good you smell! Having said that the scent remains and is one to definitely draw that special someone closer to you. A winner in my books.

This is a nice fragrance from Armani. It's nice to have a fresh scent in the men's cannon other than Acqua Di Gio. I find this to be very citrus based, with lots of woodiness. The performance is alright, not the best, but could be worse than it is. The opening is very bright and fresh. When it fades, it's still there. I catch myself catching whiffs of it for quite a while.

I am unsure as to why so many people are disappointed with this fragrance, I absolutely love it! I was doubtful about buying this scent as I head that it is not long lasting, however on my skin, it lasts all day. I put it on at 8am and get compliments at 5pm, so for me, it definitely lasts. It smells so crisp and modern, and so elegant. I would definitely recommend this!

This is such an underrated fragrance, and I absolutely love it on my husband. It smells clean, sophisticated and masculine without being overpowering. It’s the kind of scent that works perfectly for everyday wear but also still feels special. It’s one of those scents that’s incredibly appealing and hard to stop smelling!

It is soft and sensual in a slightly floral way, something always appreciated by me when it comes to men's perfumes. No flowers listed, the sage and the orange are there, still it gives the vibe of a "musky-white-floral". Unexpected and very welcome. Not really intense or long lasting though.

Wow! Eau D'Aromes is a blast of delicious citrus. At first spray I smell the citrus (mandarin orange, bergamot) mixed with the ginger. Dries down to a very nice sweet vetiver, patchouli. I still detect the citrus in the dry down. Perfect for the hot summer months and nights. I love it! 10/10

I think it smells a bit like Bvlgari Marine, but it's much more long-lasting and refreshing.It gives a feeling of freshness and cleanliness ،Its smell gives a pleasant and comfortable feeling to a person ، I think summer is the right season to use it.

ginger and vetiver are worked very good..good balance. Eau d'Aromes is fresh and spicy...ice , clean, really esthetic, plenty of tea and some provence.citrus parfum Eau d'Aromes is some light scent...Sillage and longevity is very well.

This is so fantastic, warm, sensual, aromatic and spicy but not too much. I am a woman and it is one of my favourites, originally bought it for my boyfriend but loved it too much to not use it myself. Its certainly the best of Armani.

damn it, its not week, its been to 6 hours still coming to my noise, and i think it will go till the 10 hours, smells good, summer fragrance, remind me sea and beach, sillage is not bad. i give it 8,5/10 you must test it one times...

feels so calming and luxury. there is no offensive note inside the juice. no one gonna get disturbed by this smell. scent 10/10 Longevity 7/10 on clothes , it lasts a week projection 6/10 uniqueness 9/10 versatility 9/10

Very good longevity, up to 6 hours! Unique scent. it is sweet and bitter at the same time! you can smell very high quality bergamot and vetiver. I love this scent very much.

Its one of best Armani frag ever... I have it for 3 years and i need only 2 sprays and i can feel it 8 h non-stop. I dont like Armani but this one i love a lot.

This one and Code Ultimate are the best Armani scents. Could be a little bit stronger but still okay. I love it.

You can really smell the vetiver very clearly .... Yes indeed it is very close to "Tom Ford Grey Vetiver " 9/10

در اولین اسپری بوی شیرین لذت بخش نارنگی رو متوجه میشید چیزی نمیگذره که رایحه زنجبیل به عطر اضافه میشه که به نظر من ضعیفه و تا حدودی عطر رو تحت تاثیر قرار میده در عرض 10 دقیقه بوی خس خس هم با ترکیبات اولیه عطر ترکیب میشه . به شخصه با عطر تق هرمس تویلت هیچ وقت نتونستم ارتباط برقرار کنم چون واقعا سنگینه (حداقل به نظر خودم).ا ولی این عطر همون حال و هوای هرمس رو داره که بجای پرتقال تلخ ، از نارنگی استفاده شده که رایحه ی ملسی رو به وجود آورده در حالی که تق هرمس با بوی بسیار تند و تیز و تلخ و ترش شروع میشه که شاید اولش خیلی ها رو آزار بده ولی زود فروکش میکنه و آروم تر میشه اما تا پایان عمرش خنک و ترش و تلخ باقی میمونه به نظر من برای کسانی که بوی هرمس سنگینه ، این عطر یه گزینه ی خیلی خوب میتونه باشه جون حال و هوای هرمس رو تداعی میکنه به نظر من این عطر طیف سنی گسترده تری رو پوشش میده در حالی که تق هرمس افراد بالغ و بالای 26 سال رو دربرمیگیره این عطر نیمه رسمی و روزانست ولی هرمس کاملا رسمی هست هردو اسپایسی اند ولی هرمس تند تر واین عطر گرم و سکسی هرمس عطر خنکیه ولی این عطر متعادله بعد از 45 دقیقه آرمانی رو به ترشی میره و بسیار بسیار کم هم تلخ میشه و همچنان بوی خس خس گرچه ضعیف ولی قابل حس کردنه در کل آرومس دارای پخش و ماندگاری متوسطی هست

Just wow (a good way to enter in the vetiver world) the orange, citruses, ginger, a touch of mint with vetiver in the background you can smell but its not overpowering summer freshie! projection is ok ... not a full skin scent I don't know about sillage I can't talk about longevity yet has little small soap vibe smell: 8/10 projection: 5/10 if you are outside you will smell from time to time with the wind.... spay on clothes! when: Hot summer/spring days cocktails, spending time outside...t-shirt at the park a big like if projection was strong it would have been a love maybe an edp would be better don't buy full price **update longevity is around 2 hours for me (my skin eats fragrances :) )

This one is very nice! Eau d'Aromes is zesty and fresh with abundant citruses and earthy vetiver. However, it's very light and soft. It stays close to the skin making it office friendly and sure not to bother anyone in a crowd. I don't find it boring or generic. It's a well blended everyday summer perfume and does it's job pretty well. Also, this perfume is not silly... It's very serious, Sage and Vetiver brings it back down to earth and prevent the citrusses from being too boozy and short lived. Despite being somewhat weak, it does last a fair bit of time (4 to 6 hours).

Agree with others, underrated gem this one. Elegant with touches of the past, but modernized with the brightness of vetiver and cardamom. Imagine if you took the clean classic Armani PH, dropped in some Declaration for a bit of orange and spice and a few small touches of a marine fragrance like AdG and you can get a sense of what this might be like. It will remind you of other things a touch but the best parts of those fragrances in one.

This is a nice spring and summer fragrance that may lend itself to the fall as well. Nothing offensive to the nose and does start with a solid citrus mix with vetiver and ginger in the drydown. I do get a slight patchouli wave here and there in the dry down as well. Overall I do like it... Not sure that I love it... For the price it's ok to blind buy if you are in need of a warm weather scent. Otherwise TRY BEFORE YOU BUY. Enjoy!

Vetiver and bergamot are nice and strong. Very similar to millions other (cheaper and better) on the market. As much as i would like to say its boring and generic, i must say that does smell nice to most ladies. it does last about 5 hrs on my skin. projection isn't too great but it can be pulled off well on hot humid day. well suited for the day occasions or office. i certainly recommend not to blind buy it.

A sharp, clean, adult, masculine scent that is businesslike rather than friendly and fun. It’s a good scent for work, making you smell very serious and uber professional. I’m not exactly a high-flying businessman, so I can’t see me wearing this one. It’s a good scent though; it just lacks some of the playfulness, romanticism and individuality that I’m looking for in my perfumes at the moment.

I had a tester of this and couldn't get enough of wearing it, so I eventually bought a bottle. Smells nice in the warmer months. Every time I wear it I feel powerful or successful. Not sure how to explain it but it's just a nice refined mature smelling fragrance. The longevity is not bad. It's not as citrusy as people are saying. This smells pretty original too. Nice fragrance.

Mostly a citrusy fragrance but with a small hint of wood from the vetiver underneath, mixed in nicely with the sage. For me that elevates this one above competitor citrusy fragrances. Nothing crazy but very nice.

This scent reminds me a bit of bvlgari amara, they both have that Orange spicyness, and both have ok longvity and are perfect for summer evenings. And yes they both DO smell great.

Pleasant but familiar. Ginger note reminds me of Kenzo L'Eau Indigo Pour Homme a little, though the Kenzo is a lot more complex. It's a nice fragrance, nothing more.

Armani Eau d’Aromes deserves more attention, it's a well rounded fragrance, with a good balance between citrusy notes and woody notes and it has great longevity.

It was a gift for my husb and he it quickly became a signature for him. The LONGEVITY and silage are absolutely INCREDIBLE !

To reply to Nicholas' review below. In what way is this for age 50 and up? I'd consider this not limited to any age at all.

Great scent - simultaneously earthy and classy. I wish it were a bit stronger, but performance is decent for an EDT.

Nose Note #967 This smells straight out of the 90s. Yeah, somewhat like D&G Masculine which I own, except DG is much more about this beautifully bitter bergamot. Whereas Eau d'Aromes is much softer and watery. This is just a typical mens cologne from the 90s and early 00s. It gives you a good overall impression of this era when the perfumes started to become fresher and all. Many of them just smell like something that you cannot decypher. Something citrusy, a bit aromatic, and not sweet at all - this lack of sweetness is very characteristic, I think. Very hard to describe. It's just quite bland and there's not much to write home about. Pleasant, simple. Men only. Barely moderate, the performance is really quite bad. Almost no sillage. 6.4/10, something for the oldfags

I like the scent of this one, lots of orange and ginger with some vetiver. I don't seem to get much else. It's fresh, masculine and elegant like, but it does feel a bit lackluster....no punch. The performance is a tricky one just like AdG Absolu, it's faint, you think it's all but gone, yet you swear you get whiffs of it hours after. However, Absolu at least projects for the first bit, as Eau d'Aromes is relegated to a skin scent almost immediately. Overall, it's a nice scent that aimed to be a zesty fresh gentleman's frag but maybe came out a little too safe and unfortunately, forgettable.

It's like Tom Ford grey vetiver. The original Armani eau pour homme is my signature scent and while this has the same DNA and is quite enjoyable, it's longevity is mediocre at best, Armani EPH projects and lasts on me a good 6 hours while this is gone within 2 hours...not sure why considering it's a close flanker. Personally I'd stick with the original or spend that bit more and get Tom Ford which at least has good projection.

On my skin this gets very aquatic. ADG vibes all the way. First impression was eau sauvage with a twist.. This perfume doesn't have character

At first, it seemed like a citrus and was classified as a transitional link between Eau Sauvage and Acqua di Gio, where in all cases the citrus notes somehow blend with spices. However, it turned out that both Eau Sauvage and Aromas are a kind of spice ecstasy, with Sauvage leaning toward a spicy dominance in an aged interpretation, and Aromas, a strong dominance of pepper water. So, it’s an unnecessary scent.
