Armani Eau de Nuit

I went to Beautysuccess store here in Casablanca, Morocco, the first thing that got my attention was the sober, simple yet classy and elegant design of the bottle. I'm a lover of the nocturnal/night/dark sensations and Eau de nuit delivers that mysterious&nocturnal vibes i'm looking for when i wear a fragrance, after all Eau de nuit stands for Water of the night. It's a very masculine perfume, and it's NOT A CLONE OF DHI, i have Dior Homme Intense, i can't praise enough how awesome DHI is, but Armani Eau de Nuit is nothing short of a different awesome perfume, think of Armani EDN and Dior Homme Intense as a Maserati Ghibli vs Jaguar XJ! Eau de nuit is floral, woodier and powdery, the drydown of EDN is an ambery and floral romantic dark smell that is just enchanting, alluring and seductive.The drydown of DHI gives off vanilla and amber. Armani EDN and DHI are both seductive, dark and rich, yet they are different from each other, different winners! i love DHI, and i love Armani EDN, EDN has a very different opening and drydown, some funny people think EDN is a copy because of the powdery Iris smell, but the similarities end here! Armani EDN is more than meets the nose! It's classy, distinct, expensive, manly and seductive. My next buy will surely be Armani Eau de nuit, and it will stand side by side with my DHI, it goes to show that they are different from each other yet both are the epitome of charm and sensuality, thus i plan to get my self Armani Eau de nuit, again think of it as a Maserati Ghibli(Armani) vs Jaguar XJ(DHI)!

Just got this one in today. I like it quite a bit, but it's definitely in need of a boost in performance! Not necessarily in longevity but that wouldn't hurt either. Projection and just the actual strength of the scent itself are where this one desperately needs some help. I would say that this is a fragrance that needs an Eau De Parfum version if there ever was one but then again it doesn't need to set any closer to the skin than it already does. The review below me has the scent described well, only it doesn't smell like those fragrances in their opening but when they get to the mid. If you take the mid of Luna Rosa Black, Spicebomb, Man in Black and Dior H'omme and not the intense version just the original eau de toilette then mixed them in equal parts at that stage then you will have what this smells like in the opening. And if you have those you know that they all soften up quite a bit in the mid and drydown and that's just how soft this one is in the opening. If this was more potent and had arms length projection it would possibly be my absolute favorite scent. However, as it is it's just one I will wear during more formal or semi- formal occasions where I need something nice and soft. I love powdery scents and this one is that, but it definitely is in dire need of a boost in concentration. The thing is I don't see anyone else saying that so maybe it's just me. And I doubt it sells well enough for them to come out with an EDP flanker of this one. Maybe I should have just gone with the oud version.

Por lo que me comentaron, tenía mucha similitud a la Dior Homme, y tengo que decir que sí, que se parece , pero no es igual. Es densa y consistente , pero nada pegajosa, afortunadamente no han seguido la tendencia de imitar hasta lo insaciable la One Million de Paco Rabanne. Tiene bastante parecido tanto en la salida como en el fondo con la clásica Dior Homme, incluso me atrevería a decir, que es más similar a la Dior Intense, pero vuelvo a insistir ... es parecido, pero no igual. Aunque soy adicto a Dior Homme para los días frios o lluviosos, tengo que sucumbir , y decir que, incluoso, esta Armani me gusta más. El cedro y el ambar están claramente presentes, aunque no consigo localizar bien la bergamota y el cardamomo. Puestos a comparar, dura manos que la Dior Homme No reformulada, pero igual que la que se vende actualmente. Es un perfume para la noche, o bien para días frios, y como tal, siempre me gusta mojar la ropa una vez puesto el perfume ==> Buenas noticias; no se enrancia al contacto con el agua, tampoco se degrada, aunque dura algo menos sobre las prendas mojadas que sobre ropa seca. Como curiosidad, el perfume es transparente, lo que da color es el frasco, un punto más a su favor, así por lo menos nos aseguramos de que no manche nuestra ropa.

I bought this yesterday and it will be my best of 2020 no matter what I smell, even though it's January. This is the scent I've been looking for; a touch of iris mixed with some spices to wear in the winter. This projects well even under 2 layers of clothes and has some great transitions through the experience. Cardamom, Nutmeg (background), and tonka are detectable immediately. At the beginning Iris floats on top and through the mid to the dry-down, it settles into the tonka-cardamom. Pepper and wood (Cedar?) mildly show through during the dry down to keep this from being too sweet. The blend is exquisite. Overall, this is amazing. It's everything I wanted Spicebomb, 1 Million, and Code to be. It may seem mature but it's not; it could battle it out with anything at a club, and be respectable at the offie. It is therefore versatile and to be worn in cooler months. It is a cologne that can replace many, it really has it all! If I compare it to others in my collection, it reminds me of someone taking my YSL La Nuit edt, pouring in a bunch of spicebomb, and then adding Iris petals and Pepper in (and maybe heliotrope). My lady loves it on me too... Final word: worth.every.penny Side note: I always regretted not purchasing a Cavalli Black... until now.

Absolutely phenomenal! This is a refined, elegant and proper men's scent that is all about sensuality. The tonka and amber combination is wonderful, not too sweet or gourmand-ish, but also not stale and musky; it's just the right balance of warmth and masculinity. It is for mine, simply the best amalgam of amber and tonka/nutmeg that I've gotten from any men's scent. The opening of these ingredients gets a bit more complex as the scent settles, and the cardamom and iris then come into play. But these also work so nicely with the opening notes that they all just blend perfectly to create an even warmer, more sensual version of themselves. There's not a fresh, sweet or citrus vibe from this scent, just depth and richness from quality and heady ingredients. The eventual drydown is a fantastic combination of the top and middle notes, and not a musk-filled mess; the amber lingers along with the iris and traces of tonka, just enough to remind you of the opening. Because of that, the longevity is also quite good, well over 5 hours as it becomes softer...ideal for garnering even greater attention from those who get close.

Part Spicebomb, part Dior Homme Intense, and part Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I get a lot of tonka, cardamom, amber, cedar, and pepper with the iris being prominent in the opening but fading as the fragrance develops. It's nothing like the amount of iris in the Dior Homme line. I also get the comparison to Guerlain L'homme Ideal. Aside from the likeness of smell, they are very similarly styled scents, and have the exact same uses. This stuff is heaven in a bottle. I have no idea how this isn't a mega hit in the midst of all the middling night time tonka scents on the market. This is utter class, sensuality, and maturity... Definitely for 25+ and the nicely dressed crowd. It's not beast mode, but for me it's longevity and sillage are perfect. It's subtle but noticeable, and my leather watch still smells like it the day after. This is the type of scent that will have people talking to themselves... "Where is that amazing smell coming from!?" To me it really feels similar to a fragrance made by Chanel. It's got that classy creamy sweetness hiding behind every whiff. Anyways, this fragrance is fantastic.

So today i tried it for the first time since this cannot be obtained in my country and i am abroad. This will be my first impression. So when i first smelled it i really liked it. I found the iris to be powdery lipsticky like a mix of DHI and Luna Rossa Black. I'm more familiar to DHI than LRB because i only own DHI. I have only tried LRB a few times. At first i thought it was close to DHI but when comparing them side by side there is a big difference. DHI is deeper and woodier, also i feel its a bit younger and the iris is more lipsticky and less powdery. Eau de Nuit felt like a watered down, more mature version of DHI. Then i remembered LRB, so i went back to the perfume store and sprayed side by side with LRB and i think thats the closest. Maybe LRB is a bit more powdery and more rough, while Eau de Nuit is more watery, a bit more mature and more classy, but they are very close. Performance is also worse than DHI and similar to LRB. So all in all, a really good fragrance but i believe you are better off with DHI if you want a lipsticky formal iris scent. Also performance is not that good.

The scent is lovely, I clearly pick up powderiness with cherry (guess this comes from heliotrope), not so much of an iris or cardamom - I feel like powdery fragrances grew on me during last year, and advanced from 'meh' to something I enjoy coming back to. This composition is very well rounded, full-bodied and adorable. Whooooaaa, but hold on a second. What's going on with longetivity and projection? During my perfume journey I tried some not-so-well performing fragrances, like CH 212 VIP, YSL Y EDP, YSL LNDL, but even these could stay on my skin for at least five hours with fair sillage during initial time period. Here, I can't even sniff anything off my wrist after 3 hours, and sillage disappears after 30 minutes. Spraying my clothes doesn't help that much. Bottle is legit, bought at valid store - does anyone else have THIS big performance issues? Batch is 38W701U, so 07/2022. I rated this as 'love' as the smell is perfect, although saying I'm disappointed with parameters is understatement.

Armani Eau de Nuit is a spicy, floral and powdery fragrance. The first minutes it is perceived as slightly fresh with some spices, but after a few minutes the aroma becomes amber/spicy and mainly powdery due to the floral accords of iris and heliotrope, giving an elegant sensation. The fragrance has no further changes in its development, it remains spicy, powdery and even a little creamy. This version of the Armani Eau line is a nocturnal version of the classic Eau Pour Homme, with which it only shares the name and the bottle, because in terms of their aroma they are not similar at all, except that both are elegant and classy. . It seems to me that its use scenarios would be in formal activities or nights out. As for longevity, it lasted between 6 and 7 hours. with a discreet sillage. I think this fragrance is in the same stair as fragrances like Luna Rossa Black, since it shares similar characteristics in terms of elegance, discretion and nocturnality, but the smell is not identycal.

Eau de Nuit didn't elicit an immediate 'wow' from me at first, despite being a very pleasing scent. It grew on me pretty quickly, though, and I've come to appreciate it more as the months pass. Eau de Nuit is completely inoffensive; a lovely tonka fragrance tempered with just the right complement of powder. I really enjoy powder in men's fragrance and this one executes it very well. Eau de Nuit is just pure designer class. It is soft and elegant, yet masculine. It's peppery but sweet; seductive, but subdued. It's one of those perfumes that radiates gently, more likely to be discovered than announced. In my opinion it's a completely safe blind buy and perfect for casuals and perfume geeks alike. I honestly think this can be worn year round, for any occasion. A solid dumb-reach for people who prefer a little spicy sweetness in their daily wear.

Somewhat original scent... It whispers to me nutmeg + pink Pepper, more than iris. Its not very sweet, but the tonkas are there, so is the quasi-code Armani DNA. In a nutshell, lets say Bvlgari MiB (or a lighter spicebomb) meets Dior Homme (doesn't smells *like* DH, though; that's only a reference). Thats what you would probably get. Performance-wise, its close to the skin. Does not last long, either. A very bad cost-effective offer from Armani on that point. Could may worth the price if it were (and cost like) another Armani Code flanker... easily could be called "code nuit nutmeg edition" for instance ;p Buy/pass: would buy if the price were the same of the code line. Good perfume, but will pass this one, there are many other great fragrances to aim at its price range. Overall: 7,5 out of 10.

Okay this fragrance is so great! I bought my bottle four or five months ago and the smell was so good but I found that it's performance was merely average so it would last me from early morning until my lunch break, then nobody would notice it, which isn't good because a winter fragrance like eau de nuit can smell awesome but something like code profumo, Dior homme intense or spicebomb extreme has better longevity and projection and are more widely appreciated but as a home evening, snowing outside Christmas eve fragrance yes please. To me this is like Christmas advent calendar you only use it for that one special month when you have family around and the fire is lit in the evening and you have just got back from town and you want to warm up with the best scent- eau de nuit is perfect.

I have an old 2013 batch of this. Smells great, the iris is very noticeable but not like something in the style of Dior Homme 2005 / Original. It is still powdery , but not as much as DH and it is very balanced with the tonka bean vanilla smell. Wonderful , masculine and modern. It is sweet but not overly so, definitely something great for nights out. Can mould itself to formal or casual wear easily, as most Armani fragrances do. Good longevity and projection but it is not a crazy performer. I think this is a good thing as this kind of scent works best in a personal bubble in my opinion. The Iris note is very similar to the one in Armani Code Parfum but they are distinct otherwise. Would recommend if you are a fan of Prada L'Homme, Armani Code Parfum and Dior Homme 2005.

I don't know about you, but this definatly has vetiver in the base. The dry down feels similar to the dry down of Lalique pour homme eques. It's a great scent for night clubbing, date, bar, restourants, formal, office and for fun. It's exactly for my age 30. I really feel and ejoy the cardamon, pink peper, iris and tonka. Amazing designer smell. Compliment atractive, noone will hate it or something. It's really apealing for the masses and regular people, but enthusiast will apreciate it as well. I was looking to feel a gap/niche of my colecction with something sweet, sexy and mass apealing for night time. Something with cardamom, iris and sweetness. I was wondering between YSL La Nuite de L'hommes intense, Valentino uommo and this and i think I chose wisely :)

Hm, there's no rum? I can feel it (oh, I see, pink pepper->rum to my nose), little bit reminds me of BLV Man in Black along with Dior homme intense, Armani code and Avantgarde:) Sweet dry powder bomb with a hint of rum, at least on my skin, very sensual, alluring and sexy composition. I really want a full bottle from this juice. Doesn't masculine nearly, unisex or fem scent:) Sillage is soft to moderate, dense, longevity is about 8 hours, very good. I recommend absolutely:) update: I bought a full bottle but I'm not satisfied at all, sillage is very low:( The smell is heavenly, I love it, on my skin smells like mature fresh lightish Avant garde with lot of powder... I tried in colder weather, I experienced bigger sillage, radiated better:)

I agree with MjrS. This is very similar to Guerlain L'Homme Ideal, combined with the iris note from Dior Homme. Similarly, this smells a lot like Halloween Man Shot, however this is stronger and smoother (less cardamom). Perfect projection, sillage, and longevity, and women really love this one. If you like Halloween Man Shot, Guerlain L'Homme Ideal, or the iris from Dior Homme, you'll LOVE this. I feel like I should be giving this a longer review, but I just can't find anything more to say about it other than this is a perfect fragrance. It's not my favorite scent, but it is my favorite within the genre of sweet/spicy scents. I'm also surprised to see so many complain about the longevity, because it lasts 9 hours for me, easily.

For the nth time that I visited a fragrance shop in Dxb and tested this bottle, it's also the same nth time that I highly appreciated the scent. I cannot believe how this scent closely belongs to the Spice Bomb family but with a Dior Homme flavor. With the numbers of perfumes being released weekly by both the mainstream and indie brands, I am not going to be the one to complain about the originality of every release. Yes, this is not original but I just simply love this scent. The feel of the bottle also is nice, it has a handy, solid plastic feel even if it is just a glass bottle. Very underrated scent. Smelled this today and just to say, I freaking love it! I can definintly smell the Iris flower, which gives it a strong powdery scent. A lot of people are saying that this does not smell like Dior Homme? I personally think it is very similar, except that this fragrance is a lot more sweeter and creamy because of the heavy Tonka note (which I love!) Where as Dior Homme is a lot more spicy. This is quickly being my favourite Armani aftershave, beating Attitude. This one has an edge and it also lasts for ever! I absolutley love this scent! Really tempted to buy a bottle off Amazon, but obviosuly because of the name, it is very expensive :(

Although I do enjoy the overall scent and blend of Eau de Nuit, my purchase of this fragrance along with Prada L'Homme Intense has confirmed my personal dislike of iris oriented colognes. The waxy, powdery, lipstick like accord just isn't for me; not certain why a dude would seek it out. But to each their own. At least for Armani Eau de Nuit, the rest of the accompanying ingredients save it and combine for an elegant, professional, evening scent. In fact I also like to pair this up with Serge Lutens Vetiver Oriental. It creates a sharp evening concoction that is really pleasant. Give it a whirl some time!

This doesn't smell like Dior homme. Sure it may share that iris note but how does that make it a clone?! Just like someone outlined earlier; Valentino Uomo would be a Dior Homme clone. Regardless, this fragrance is a really nice smelling scent and to me the dry down is reminiscent of YSL L'homme. Very sweet smelling fragrance. I really like the unique spicy note that is prominent in the beginning (might be the pepper). Like this fragrance quite a bit and there is just something really sexy about it. Total winter scent.

This is one of my favorites. I bought it from Kings Duty Free from Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok. I got myself a 50 Ml bottle. It's got a leathery smell to it which goes well with my leather jackets. You can also wear them with a blazer or suit coats. It's especially meant for evening or night wear when you go out on dates. I used to wear this when i went out on dates in the evening. However, it's almost finished. Wish i could get a brand new bottle. I love this smell. The bottle design is attractive too.

This is such a gorgeous scent, you have to love powdery scent to appreciate it. Opens up powdery iris with some spices in the back, dry down is powdery iris, tonka bean with some woods in the back. The powderiness and the iris are the main players throughout the life of the scent. If you like : Prada l'homme, Prada Luna Rossa Black - give this one a try. As the scent is powdery, I think its also suitable for women.

I absolutely loves this fragrance - it's top, very seductive - Tonka bean is very prominent maybe for some a bit too prominent if the fruity tones would be a bit more porminent you would get my absolute favourite fragrance ZARA Mineral Blue which has lots of tonka bean but also heavy fruity tones of green apple and mandarin. Unfortunately that one lacks longevity while Eau de Nuit lasts a lot longer

I've smell it first on my boyfriend, but I couldn't get over it and I was coming back on every possible occasion. So I got a bottle for myself, even though it's my first from the man section. But the fragrance is very unisex. I'm spraying it before going to sleep. It feels so relaxing, I definitely smell red pepper and a herbal ending but there is something more deep inside. One of my favorite.

I was able to snatch a backup bottle on notino for ~80$. Production date 05/2023, i wonder when they have stopped the production. Oh well, at least I can cherish this gorgeous scent for couple more years, and then hop on Gris Charnel which is at least 80% similar Edit: longevity of this bottle is 6-7h, close to the skin for the majority of time. Which is enough for the evening/date scent

The Iris here is the same musky Iris as Dior Homme and ignore the people saying its hardly noticeable, its noticeable but not the most prominent note. The opening is pink pepper with woods, half way through you get a cherry vibe kinda like Lhomme ideal from the heliotrope and the drydown is Iris. The scent is an 8/10 but man its weak asf, id rate it higher if i could smell it better 😂.

It looks like Dior homme intense, but not excessively so! this is more 'creamy', softer .. pink pepper gives her touch almost spicy .. if you wait 10-15 minutes, evolves so creamy and sweet .... Overall a good scent, elegant! About me hard (8-10) hours, the projection is moderate! Council for the winter. Sillage: 6.5/10 Longevity: 8/10 Scent: 8/10 Overall: 7.5/10

One of few purchases where I was not following any Youtuber and their top ten lists. As for comparisons, a hint of similarity with Prada Luna Rossa Black, and even more with Spiebomb EdT and Bvlgari Man in Black, although smoother than both. Perhaps even a hint of Dior Homme Intense, which I adore. This will get its uses in my rotation for sure.

This is on the way to being one of my new faves. So delectable. It reminds me a lot of nuit d'issey . Just this scent is seduction., Sweet but not light at all. Good use of Tonka bean here. A real masterclass. Performance wise, it's been good for six hours atm but I know Armani are notorious for bad batches

Today I bought Eau de Nuit into my life forever. Nice soft opening, then sweet, tonka , powdery, floral, warm. Everyday scent, not too loud, best for fall/winter. Long lasting is great. Sillage is not too big. Unusual and nice, 100% unisex. I bought it for my brother but I'm too selfish to give it to him!

just got me a last bottle at redsquare, man this smell super amazing , super gorgeous and i adore this one to the max and i heard it has been discontinued :( im so crushed please free Eau De Nuit Armani please because im definitely getting another bottle.

This really did surprise me. It's not getting attention it deserves. If you like powdery fragrances, this one will be one of the best. It's nothing special, just a quality fragrance with a decent projection and longevity. Rich smelling frag. 7.7/10

It's so sweet on my skin and all I can say is strong, smart and sexy. Personally if you like Attitude you may also like this one too. I went to department stores and they say Attitude discontinued so I have to buy this one and I love it so much.

I can smell Iris and Tonka-bean the most. It's a masculine daily use in any occasion.It has got spicy, sweet, powdery and woody scent which attract a lot of attention. Both longevity and projection are medium. Just have try. You won't regret!

It has that musky iris quality mixed with the freshness of pink peppercorn and bergamot. Similarities to the musky iris from DHI, the freshness from DHeau for men and the intoxicating depth of Valentino. Not the same as any that is for sure.

Once the pink pepper settles.. Man... I love this. It is really great from start to finish. Projection is average and longevity slightly above. I think I love iris combined with well blended woods sets this and Dior homme off. GREAT

Smells good, but not so unique, just a little bit similar to Dior, mostly the top note in 2 minutes, after more to Lanvin Avantgarde. Sweeter and bolder than Dior, I feel it cookie with iris/powder. Recommend for autumn or winter.

i have had this for about 6 months now, been wearing at work most of the time. it is very pleasant office sent if not applied too heavily. best part is when its settled and u start getting tonk a and iris. Ladies LOVE it !! :)

Stays close to my skin for the whole day and not to mention on clothes (weeks). The ladies love it too. This is a really strong fragrance just make sure you dont spray too much 2-3 sprays can last you the whole day. 9.5/10

i agreed with the copy of dior homme but its only in the opening notes..wait after half an hour or more u'll find its so sensual & aromatic...its so good & i think its better than eau pour homme which is so much citrusy.

How have I not tried this until now?? Super under the radar gem! Wow. The 'reminds me of' section here is very accurate and full of other frags that you hear about non stop. Glad I came across this beauty.

I'm really impressed with the fragrance. I've bought last bottle at my local shop a week ago. Batch is from 2023 and longevity is huge - I can still smell it even after 2 days!

The #1 of its character with more facets and depth. DH is better than DHI and this is better than both by a lot a lot.. in every way. Anyway, who is the nose behind this???

Smell: "Holy sexy fuck!" Performance: "You should stay a little longer." That's it. That's my review and honestly, all you need to know about this gem.

This deserves much more attention. Smelling it close can be a bit harsh but when you smell sillage it's very good, very pleasant and classy.

This is such a sexy perfume. It drives me crazy when my husband wears it. It's soooo good. But I'm also a big fan of iris.
