Armani Privé Bleu Turquoise

I don't know how anyone could say this doesn't smell like Tom Ford Oud Minerale. It's especially apparent at first spray. Bleu Turquoise is much more wearable, however. I think that's because it doesn't have oud in it, which is a good thing because it makes it more easily worn since oud can turn a fragrance offensive to a lot of people--or at least in my experience. The saltiness about it is very, very similar. This has more of an underlying vanilla that sticks through out its life and keeps it from smelling so niche (AKA stinky) that it could easily grab the attention of mainstream appeal. It definitely smells like a bonfire at the end of Summer, and it really takes you there--but not how a candle would, which is good because I want a fragrance and not a candle. It's woody aquatic without being bright, but it's not quite dark either--just neutral. It's best worn in late Summer/Fall, but would be great at the beach all Spring/Summer. However, I've just worn it year-round, but not much because I usually prefer the rest of my relatively large collection. It's unisex, but I think it leans a lot more masculine. I bought a full tester bottle for well over half off. I have the whole collection this is a part of. Of them all, I'd place this one last, honestly. That's not to say that this is bad, but it's just not as good as the others. I don't regret purchasing it, but I wouldn't at its full price. The bottle is gorgeous, though, as are all of its siblings in its collection. While you'd probably be safe to blind buy, I'm glad that I had samples first. If I didn't have the other 3 from the collection first, I probably wouldn't have gotten a full size. A 10 mL decant probably would've been enough for me. I'm glad I got it because it's very unique; I don't have anything like it in my collection, and I can't name anything like it. I recommend at least trying it. 8/10 scent, 9.5/10 longevity, 10/10 sillage. Unique, interesting scent with personality.

Its too early to review it as I've only sampled it on my skin twice, but I just couldn't contain the excitement. Its the most unusual offering from Armani Prive line and is likely forging a new trend. I'd say simply, its the best salty skinscent I've tried. But takes it up 10 notches. There is no shyness, as it is aquatic only at the top, gradually turning more spicy-savoury-sweet-smokey-woody, and really making a statement. The play with crisp salt, creamy sweet ylang-ylang, incense and sandalwood is majestic, stunning, edible, relaxed, slightly shocking and naturally sexy. Its the scent that stops people on its track, wondering: what...what was that? Its certainly unisex. But ladies, don't let yourself to be fooled a bit masculine aquatic opening. It plays so beautifully on my skin that has a natural tendency to turn scents sweeter. This one is just spot on, the vanilla will not suffocate the other players like usually when I wear a gourmand, but it adds a seductive accent here. The review below by @slpfrsly is spot on. I also get the picture of sleek tanned bodies after a long hot sweaty day at the beach party smoking weed, having sex and dips into the ocean from a luxury yacht at night. Bringing on a very physical experience, this scent is full of joie de vivre yet elegant, genderless, and has fresh, yet lived-in hedonistic vibe. Looks like FB for summer. EDIT June/2021: It is a FB for this summer, and very happy for this purchase. I use it on the skin rather than clothes to get the best development out of this salty creamy vanillia incense. Works beautifully, and is a real compliment-getter.

I wrote a review soon I've acquired this, long ago now, but as often happens things changed. Today, I revisited this number and here are my perceptions: it's definitely unisex in the literal sense of it, although it requires someone emotionally mature. This won't suit anyone in their 20s or 30s - though some may like it of course ;) This scent is depicting someone who went through many a situations in life, and knows better than to judge a book by its cover. Someone who handled already tough ... cookies *herhum* and is not fazed by the unexpected. Not someone who merely thinks that they can overcome it, when they never had to yet. Bleue Turquoise says "I know who I am", not "I can be whoever and whatever I want". It's not juvenile delusion, but emotionally mature assertion of oneself. Salty vanilla - what's so complex here to understand? Well! Let me tell you... it's not just about that. There's wood, a backbone of it so exquisitely refined that it really needs reflection upon its nature. A smoky, light and yet present shadow of it on all things ongoing. Mysterious woods, as if you found yourself in some otherworldly forest. Alone with your wit and thoughts. Magical! And the vanilla/salt combo here is spellbinding. Enrapturement, is the only word that comes to mind when I smell it. I kept returning to it, still feeling the smokiness is just a tad too much for my personal taste. But there's absolutely NOTHING like this. So I work it with citrus-y layering. This is winter bliss people, get your hands on it if you can! And seriously, this is not even close to Reveal CK!!! It's a universe aside!!!

I definitely get the TF Oud Minerale similarity but I would say that Bleu Turquoise isn’t as linear, less steely/stone-like and doesn’t quite have the ridiculous longevity of the TF..... ie: 2 days on my skin! I get a decent 6-8 hours depending on heat & humidity from this. I definitely get the salt and the vanilla, which thankfully isn’t too sickly & sweet and the incense is a nice accord, although for my tastes, I wish it was just that touch heavier. The jasmine floats around in the middle very nicely indeed and I’m also getting some citruses and possibly sage popping up lightly after about 10-15 minutes but by no means are they sharp. The pepper note comes across more like a slightly floral pink pepper rather than the harsher, spicier black pepper as listed. All in all, a very nice Mediterranean summer fragrance; very Italian & certainly more wearable and more interesting than TF Oud Minerale but I can’t help thinking that it’s a bit like an amalgamation of a few of the AdP Blu Mediterraneo line mashed together but higher quality & less synthetic obviously. A very wearable summer holiday scent, slightly more feminine leaning I’d say but I’d be more than happy to wear it myself, no question. Oud Minerale and I have a rather fractious relationship but I reckon I’d reach for this more in summer: it’s just has more evolution and interest for me. It’s not particularly sexy or inviting but great for summer days lounging around your pool on the Amalfi coast, being brought lovely cold drinks with little umbrellas in them. Nice!

I am loving this sexy, salty, smoky, sultry vanilla. Bleu Turquoise packs a punch and a little goes a long way. I love it in the summer as it warms up on your skin. Smells like a long day at the beach, when you are in and out of the water...salt and sand. Ademas, it wears well in all seasons. Shines in colder months as well. I love the scent bubble...you can smell it all day long...again thinking of those long summer days where the sun sets after 9 pm. This wears to me as totally unisex, smelling equally sexy on a woman or a man. It lasts more than 8 hours and I can smell it on my clothes for days. I love a smoky vanilla and I have others (BabyCat, Andalusian Soul and Lune Feline), and they all smell different. This is not a safe blind buy. My suggestion, find it at the perfume counter, spray it on your wrists - and walk around, shop, run errands and go home....it will carry you throughout the day. You will either love it or want to scrub it off. The only downside in my opinion is the size and the price - even on fragrance.net with the discount 100ML (only size available in the US) close to $300. I now have too many perfumes and I don't want to buy anything but travel sizes or decants. I purchase 9 ML from Scent split, perfect for me. If you can't take a beach holiday, spray this on and pretend that you did :)

I went looking today for a year round fragrance. Recently, with the beginning of our autumn bringing the cooler weather, I've been buying cold day perfumes. Which is fine until I remember that winter here lasts for about 8 weeks and it is hot and humid for at least 6 months of the year. With that in mind, I started sniffing the Armani Prive EDT testers: Thé Yulong, Gardénia Antigua, Figuer Eden, etc. The SA suggested I try Bleu Turquoise and Bleu Lazuli. After she sprayed the test strips, I knew I had to try them on skin. I left the store to let them settle and returned an hour later to buy them both. There is enough spice to wear this on a sunny winter's day here but enough lightness to carry me through a steamy summer afternoon too. I get much more salt than I do incense and florals underpinned by a more earthy vanilla (presumably the moss?). I would wear this to lunch on the coast in summer or for a fancy Japanese dinner date in cooler weather. It's not warm and comforting like it's brother Lazuli, but rather cool, sophisticated and uplifting on my skin. Truly the Armani Prive Parfums are something special. Complex and layered with excellent longevity and decent sillage, but not so niche focused as to be offensive or unwearable. I'll go back for Rose d'Arabie eventually too.

Bleu Turquoise feels intensely refreshing due to the contrasts in its notes. It has a wonderful, interesting dichotomy of rough, salty, spicy and dry notes on the one side and sweet, velvety vanilla and tropical florals on the other. It starts out very salty, peppery and even a little scratchy. The incense feels cool and mineralic on the skin, like the stone walls of an old church. Cypriol amps up the earthy, dark side of the scent. But just before it becomes too much, the lovely warm vanilla unfolds and softens everything. I imagine this as the olfactory impression of a stormy, grey day at the beach slowly clearing up, until it becomes all warm and sunny with a saltwater breeze in the air. I really don't think this smells all that much like CK Reveal. Sure, they have some things in common, mainly the intense salt and pepper notes, but Reveal's creamy cashmeran base is very different from Bleu Turquoise's deep, rich vanilla. Also Reveal feels more woodsy and skin-like, while BT is more mineralic. If anything, Alien Mirage reminds the most of this, but that one is way lighter and softer. I love all 3 of those, but in my opinion, Bleu Turquoise is the most multilayered and intense of them all, so the higher price tag feels warranted.

Funny how we are akin to associate anything blue, or bleu in this case, to an aquatic with such relative ease when it comes to fragrances. I’m guilty of doing it, too. Armani says it’s their interpretation of what the stone smells like combined with a memory of India. Well, ok then, it’s about the stone. Either way, I don’t even care. I find myself grabbing this by default most days because I start to miss it after a day or so. The salted incense and vanilla lying comfortably on a pile of moss and jasmine is incredible. It’s my favorite bleu/blue period. Performance wise, this lasts a good 12 hours, even in warm temps outdoors. Projection is a good 4-6 feet for at least 4 hours based on the comments of others. It is totally inoffensive and suitable for any occasion, including the elitist activity of mucking stalls. Totally unisex. I own Oud Minerale and they are nothing alike, nor do I think that this is remotely close to Sel Marin. Those are both great aquatics, but Bleu Turquoise is not even related to them. I highly recommend walking right past a perfumania and stepping inside a Neiman Marcus and grabbing this perfect work of art.

Bleu Turquoise is weird and wonderful - 9/10 The smokey and salty vanilla/citrus blend is unique and strange, but extremely pleasant and relaxing The average beachy oceanic perfumes are usually the kind I find most boring But not this one, no sir. It's refreshing and original The best designer Private collections are very creative, and Bleu Turquoise stands out among them Very artisinal, it's up there with Megamare as one of three beach perfumes I love (parfums d'elmar Yaringa is the other one but it's impossible to find) Projection and sillage aren't overpowering which is critical for summer perfumes like this Longevity is great - at least 8 hours on my skin Very wearable by any gender, but it does lean masculine While the bottle is nice, it's definitely not the most beautiful Armani Prive As with literally every perfume ever, it's not a safe blind buy Make sure you wear it on skin for a full day to judge whether you like it It probably won't be for everyone, But I absolutely love this stuff and will be buying a bottle of it as soon as I can find one for a decent price $335 is a bit gross for smelly water

I FINALLY managed to buy a full bottle of this and I love it as much as I did when I first smelled this, if not even more. This is the greatest thing I have ever smelled. Fragrantica needs to add an 'adore' button because saying I love this perfume doesn't even come close to the way I actually feel about it. Comparisons of Bleu Turquoise to a simple spa don't do this baby justice. This is an open ocean. The longevity, the projection and how masterfully all the notes are blended are insane and worth every praise. Nothing will ever compare to or come even close to Bleu Turquoise. It's truly heart shattering and mind boggling that this masterpiece might actually be getting discontinued because I barely managed to find it available in stores. We don't need the same type of gorumands repackaged every single month in form of a flanker or a new 'groundbreaking' fragrance. We need more unique, niche quality scents that evoke emotions and memories like this one. Bleu Turquoise definitely deserves more praise and attention and it's sad to see it fading away.

There is no denying the big disconnect between the name, the bottle and the actual fragrance. The bottle and name evokes a fresh, blue, Mediterranean inspired scent, but instead you get an slightly spiced, salty, everso incensey perfume with a touch of vanilla. All that aside, the fragrance itself is stunning. A sublime balancing act between salt, incense and oakmoss - a mix that could quite easily fail, but is saved by the sweet warmth of vanilla. There is a marine element to it (most likely from the salt accord and oakmoss) and I can't help but think that this is exactly what Tom Ford was going for with Oud Minerale, but failed. This marine aspect is fleeting, quickly taken over by the incense and vanilla. After about an hour you are left with a warm, woody, incensey vanilla (as I said above, not what you'd really expect from the name or the bottle). You would wear this when you want something that smells inoffensive, expensive, warm, masculine and unique. Strength is very good, sillage is excellent. I've had many compliments when wearing this.

Definitely more masculine than feminine, with a distinct shaving foam note and somewhat a tad medicinal background which is rather pleasant. I can detect immediately the pepper, but no sandalwood or floral notes at all. This is all about smoky vanilla with a pinch of salt. A winter, evening number, would erupt like a volcano in the heat. Use sparingly - this could easily make stomachs churn if overdone, and so I would not recommend wearing it at dinners. Suggested layering: try Bottega Veneta the original, with its suavely dusty patchouli to mitigate the smokiness, or best, for a fresher take, A girl in Capri because the lemon note rocks with vanilla smoke. I suppose also D&G Light Blue would work (not the intense, which can kill that combo). For me, it's a bit too smoky, but I like that is lightly salted. Edit: in the past two days I kept reaching for it. Still too smoky for my taste, but the vanilla is so lovely in drydown. Pity that it takes forever to get there, I just wish the opening was actually the drydown! Pleasant nonetheless.

I just bought this perfume after having tried it yesterday in the mall, and what can I say - the perfume is an absolute dream. I was hesitating at first between Bleu Lazuli and Bleu Turquoise, but after dry down and once it settled on the skin there was no doubt. Bleu Lazuli has also wonderful smell, though it is sweeter and a bit stronger then Turquoise, however Bleu Turquoise has an indescribable quality that makes you reach again and again for you arm or place where you sprayed it. It has a soft, powdery, salty vanilla scent with a dash of incense hiding in between. Even though it is a soft perfume, it has immense longevity and sillage. Another thing I'd like to point out with Armani Privé perfumes is that they are on the top of the game in the field - I own several oud and niche/couture perfumes, and I am not sure what brand comes close to Armani Privé - starting from packaging to the bottle design. It feels like you bought a piece of jewellery and the bottle is a piece of art. Love Privé collection!

When I sprayed this on the first time, my reaction was "meh", until it finished dry down and became this beautiful soft salty sweet smokey vanilla scent, I couldn't stop smelling my wrists. My wife loves it on me, my daughter says it's my best scent, and it's a real compliment getter. Definitely unisex leaning masculine. I have the Bleu Lazuli too but it's nowhere in the same class as Bleu Turquoise. I feel Lazuli is a technically good fragrance but the Bleu Turquoise evokes genuine emotions of the calmness of the ocean, soft sea breeze and tranquility. I think after a long long search I have finally found my signature scent, it is truly unique. The problem was getting a full bottle, it was out of stock everywhere and there were rumours of a discontinuation. But was pleasantly surprised after speaking with three Armani reps (in person, Facebook and website) and all confirmed it isn't discontinued and they let me backorder a 100ml bottle which should be back in stock in a week's time ❤ Edit: it arrived ☺️

I’ve been holding off on reviewing this and Oud Extrait de parfum by Francis Kurkdjian because they are the two fragrances I’m most impressed with out of everything I’ve tried so far. They aren’t very masculine and def not as masculine as I like my fragrances to be. That’s not to say I like overly masculine fragrances either. I just prefer them to be laced with some kind of florals or sweet to balance them out and be interesting enough for me to want to wear them. I like a good contradiction. Not too much of any one thing. That being said, I don’t think a lot of guys would want to rock either of the two. Simply because they aren’t very masculine. I’ll leave the note profiling and explanations to the experts here. I can say without a doubt this is so unique and beautiful. It reminds me of being at the beach. It does have some sunblock vibes. But in the best way imaginable. I get salt and vanilla. Sun and waves. It’s crazy good.

A salty vanilla with sea air you can smell and feel on your skin. The salt is very baltic and smokey due to the incense and pepper. Not sure how I feel about this one yet EDIT: starting to warm up to it. It’s more salty, in your face and incensey when you first spray it. Then a vanilla comes in. But the vanilla isn’t vanilla extract. It’s the beachy vanilla. The salt then comes to a balance with a hint of vanilla, smoke and salty sea air. EDIT: 2: I love this now. It’s a perfect salty vanilla. Unlike Olympea, this is rich, deep and ambery. This however still manages to have a light and airy feel. As much as a summer scent this seems to be, I think even in winter you could wear this. Because of the depth and the incense, smokiness and animalic feel to the fragrance. Super similar to Squid by Zoologist. Minus the vanilla

To me this is exactly turquoise blue salty sea water and salty sea breeze in the warm, golden sunshine! I love it! It reminds me of Rem by Reminiscence eau de toilette (I have it and I compared them side by side), but much more refined, elevated and intense. In the dry down the sandalwood reminds me of another Guichard's creation which I absolutely love, Santal Austral by his own brand Matiere Premiere. Of course this will be amazing in the summer, day and night, but, thanks to its warm base, I believe one can wear it all year round. The bottle is stunning as well. The only downside is its price, of course, as for all the other fragrances of the Armani Privè line. Luckily, I managed to find it at a great discount, but if you do not want to spend so much money, I believe Rem can be a pretty decent alternative.

This is the MOST UNIQUE fragrance I have ever smelled... There is just nothing like it! that is enough reason to buy this masterpiece. At first It smells straight up Like the beach/sea/holiday... very aquatic and salty but the vanilla makes it gorgeous and a tad sweet. The ylang ylang is gorgeously blended in although the aquatic note takes the overhand. First time trying it on my hand and i could smell it literary alllllll day! The longer it sat on my skin, the sweeter and warmer and more addicting it became.. I absolutely hate any smoke and to me this does not contain any smoke at all!! Beautiful fragrance for the summer night on a holiday. TIP: layer this on the vert malachite and you will get the most perfect combination ever!! Huge fan of all the Armani Prive collection, absolutely worth every cent!

I got a sample of this as a bit of a curve ball to fill my basket. At first sniff I didn’t like it. Was a no. Kept sniffing my arm though and a few hours later I was sitting on the fence with my opinion, starting to fall for it. Went back for more the next day. Then I found myself spraying one spray to conserve my sample. It’s now on my full bottle to purchase list! It’s a definite grower. It’s also very different to my usual taste, but I like that. The name is just bang on - as others say, it’s a salty marine, beach trip. When you can smell the ocean in the air. And this ocean smells awesome. It’s a posh stylish bar down by the marina. Your dressed up casual, but smart, sipping a champagne, watching the boats moor up with the sun setting in the background. Different, and that’s why I love it.

I was afraid it would become redundant to own this and Squid since they’re supposed to be so similar but they’re really not. Squid is dark and filled with sweet sweet myrrh and salty ambergris, Bleu Turquoise is more of a cool, salty vanilla and has a light frankincense smoke, they sound similar on paper but go completely different directions. The opening is very cool almost minty to me with airy florals and sweet vanilla, Bleu Turquoise feels like embracing a cool sea breeze, revealing a brined vanilla at the core, performance isn’t insane but is enough to go through a day. This is one of the only bottles ever that I wanted to blind buy just for the bottle but I’m happy to say the juice backs up as well especially if you want something subtly sweet and marine

OK -> Like -> LOVE; After few wearing, I have formulated my opinion finally to write about this interesting fragrance. This on my skin is very salty, peppery and creamy vanilla with decent performance. I don't think it's a safe blind buy considering the prices, and not so mass appealing "money note" - it's something you warm up to. I have not yet to smell other 'reminds me of" fragrances, but the dry down is within the realm of Versace Eros/Eros Flame, without apple/mint in the former, and citrus in the latter [and I think Eros Flame may be closer than Eros]. That being said, this is slightly leaning towards masculine on my skin although I could see a confident woman pulling this off very well. Edit: This has grown on me. This is lovely.

I'm a gourmand and floral- gourmand lover. Think like Printemps Blanc, Baciami and Holy Berry. This perfume isa delightful blind buy. I wore it on my usual Saturday errand run on a warm day in NC and I found myself looking forward to getting whiffs of it. It opens slightly sweet with vanilla and salt with a bit of white flowers on a bed is salted vanilla. This is a feminine- leaning to unisex fragrance. I tend to overn spray - like 8 spritzes or so. This is not a beast-mode perfume, it's light an airy. It reminds me a bit of Datura Blanche. The pefume lasts about five hours or so. This perfume is not heavy enough to cut through cold weather. All in all, lovely perfume and I'm happy with this purchase.

Definitely get the incense and ylang-ylang right away, with a bit of salty air. Smells like I should be dressed to the nines on a yacht. I would say it runs a little masculine but anyone could wear this. Very sophisticated and well-blended. Vanilla and sandalwood ground the scent so it doesn't dissipate quickly, while moss keeps it from becoming too dense or warm. The incense is beautiful and not overpowering. Teriffic balance of notes. Reminds me a bit of the ocean, despite none of the notes aside from salt really lending themselves to that. I love this, and I hear it is being discontinued so I am strongly considering dropping the cash on this, but the Prive editions are all expensive AF.

This is the first Aquatic scent that I AND my nose enjoys. This is my natural skin scent but turned up to 20! It has a saltiness to it that I love and a creamy buttery-vanilla with an edge of musk(I work out ALOT). That is literally my natural body odor after doing a post workout tshirt test. If you want to smell like quintessential summer, this is one of the scents I recommend. Marine, watery, and seaweed Fragrances don't work on my skin(looking at you Dolce and Gabanna Light Blue line, YSL Y line, and Acqua di Gio Line). If you want a summer goodie and your like me where marine scents such as those above don't work for you, this or a Citrus gormand are your best bets. 10/10!

Wow I thought this would be much more liked than it actually is. The moment I tested this for the first time I couldn't get it out of my head for years. Now that I came across it again at a perfumery I got instantly reminded of the calmness and the soft spoken beauty I saw in this the first time I met this gem. This is what my childhood at the seaside smelled like: longing for the peace within the waves and quiet walks around the beach at night. There is no one else but you and you are enveloped by the smell of salty air, your vanilla body spray and the aquatic ambience. At last you are one with the sea. So yes, currently trying to save up money for this diamond:)

The perfect vanilla salt combo for all year around. Because of the salt and the freshness it has in it, you can definetly wear it in summertie. The sandalwood and incense that accompany the main note of the warm vanilla gives it a richness and fullness and make it also irresistible to wear in winter ! Its one of the fragrances that are no easy to find dupes . Quite unique in the market, surely you are going to make a statment. Its great frag although kinda overpriced that can please both genders and worn by both male and fem too. Don't hesitate to blind buy it. Its lovely. Longevity around 6hrs on my skin and projection after an hour not that much strong.

This is definitely niche quality, smells unique and strong. The opening you get this blast of smokiness and pepper with a touch of citrus on the background. Not gonna lie, I don't really like the opening. But after 5 minutes, the floral starts to overtake the top notes and it smells 10x better than the opening. And after 15 minutes, this fragrance become a creamy woody floral fragrance with a touch of smokiness on the background. The drydown is the best part of the fragrance imo. The performance isn't as beastly as other people experiencing, I get 7-8 hours of longevity with a somewhat strong of projection. Price aside, this smells unique and nice.

This is a lighter, more feminine, easier to wear and somewhat floral version of Acqua di Sale by Profumum Roma. I don't smell salted carmell, but a sea breeze with a bit of seaweed and white flowers. The scent has good longevity and sillage. The wearer will not smell like everyone else, that's for sure. Edit after owning it for over a year: I'd like to add, that on some days I get more of the sweet vanilla and sometimes it's quite a bit spicy. My husband who is very critical of anything that smells vanillic liked this one. But he has a special nose. One day he said in the air it reminded him of a honey melon. Take his opinion with a grain of salt.

One of the most special perfumes out there, the definition of a niche perfume. It's got many facets and layers; and can change from hour to hour. On my skin today, it's a beachy scent—mostly just beautiful, elegant salty vanilla with a tiny dose of pepper. Other times, it's more woody, and incense is more prominent. At times, it's lighter and salty-sweet; other times, it can be quite sharp and deep. Perhaps even medicinal or herbal, I guess because of the cypriol oil. Yet, it always remains wearable. I don't wear it often- it's too precious and I don't want to become almost indifferent to it when I spray it. I want it to keep surprising me.

After a year of owning this I still can't put together proper sentences about this perfume. It is elusive. It relies on weather and temperature a lot - to the point that sometimes I don't like it very much. But when I do, I get an imagery of wearing an antique blue linnen dress, standing on the shore of a turquoise sea, waiting for a greek half god king lover to kidnap me on his ship and explore and conquer the Mediterranean world. Making love in a marble shrine, running through olive grove and then dying tragically and dramatically in trojan war. Yet somehow it does not have this effect on my skin in summer, why.

At first spray this fragrance accosted me. Why I get so many unsolicited compliments on this fragrance is a wonder. It’s complicated & it’s very unique. Someone wrote that it was transgender....I absolutely agree! It’s completely indescribable. It is upfront & confrontational but stunning. I’m almost appalled at the fact people compliment me on this fragrance because i wear it for me not for anyone. It preforms beautifully in hot humid weather. My daughter states it smells like Chai tea. Longevity is a full day for my dead dry skin. The scent is simply confusing but magnificent & that is all I can say.

I had to rewrite my review after smelling this for another day. There aren’t many scents I’ve wanted to buy straight away after the first sniff, this is one of them (yes, already ordered it online). It’s also true the pepper note makes it kind of aftershavey for the first hour and I’m not a huge fan of it. But I can live with it, because afterwards the vanilla and sandalwood combination is heavenly. It’s very simple but soooo good. And it lasts for a long time. I love many of Aurelien Guichard’s creations so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised this is his handiwork. It’s divine.

This fragrance has quickly become one of my favourites in my rotation. The incredible salt note reminds me of finding a secret, hidden beach surrounded by trees and taking a dip in the sea. The craftsmanship used to create this fragrance is truly impressive i must say; the vanilla on the dry-down suits the other notes perfectly well. I have only gotten compliments from it. To me, it smells a bit like when you take a swim in the ocean right after applying a very fancy sunscreen. 10/10 smell, around 8 hours of longevity and 3-4 hours of strong projection (around 5-6-7 sprays)

I love salty scents, so Bleu Turquoise felt like a bit of a no brainer. It's salty but slightly sweet- in simple terms, salty vanilla. This fragrance has a lot of dichotomies in it- woody, soft, sweet, salty + slightly spicy- it's stunning really. The florals are there in a subtle way to round out the prominent notes. I mainly get salt, vanilla, black pepper and some sandalwood. It's totally unisex, slightly beachy while not being too on-the-nose, and all around a lovely scent. This and Rouge Malachite are the best of the Armani Privé line, imo

Among all the so called “island vibe” “beach vibe” wanna be perfumes THIS is the most realistic beachy like perfume omg this is amazing❤️❤️ Think this is a master piece from this line the other three smells familiar to my nose... but this perfume really takes me back to the carefree and pre-covid days when I used to travel all the time, it takes me back to Vietnam da nang sitting on the beach waiting for sunset chilling reading my book with my earphone on Must try from this line this is so so so unique there’s nothing like this in the market

This wouldnt usually be in the line of perfumes i would go for but i absolutely love this fragrance, I usually go for clean citrus-florals or velvety type scents. Something about its uniqueness drew me in and landed itself as one of my signature scents. The drydown is my favorite part with the aquatic salty vanilla that I just couldnt find anywhere else. 9/10 love for this perfume the only “bad” thing about it is the black pepper in the opening which fades away after a few minutes into a creamy salty vanilla sea type fragrance.

This is stunning. I get natural sage, vanilla and salt; and a couple hours in I start to get some incense mixed in as well. In my opinion this can be worn year round, it's robust enough to hold up in colder weather and in summer it gives off chill beachy elegant evening vibes. Sillage is generous, blend is smooth, compliments are guaranteed, and longevity is +8 hrs. This is honestly a gem of a fragrance. For anybody who is looking to delve into Armani Privé, please do so, try and smell it all, the quality is fantastic.

Omg this is absolutely gorgeous! I sprayed this and knew I had to have it! It’s unlike anything in my collection. Salty vanilla with a woody dry down. Reminds me of being on a beach with the smell of sea breeze, and salty skin as you emerge from the ocean. This is what you want to smell like. Definitely unisex but I’m female and I think it’s feminine enough to wear. Definitely recommend! Excited to have another great spring/summer fragrance in my collection. This one is kind of hard to find but definitely worth it.

I discovered this fragrance via Max Forti. Bleu Turquoise is a beauty. Such a unique blend of creamy sandalwood, light florals and salty vanilla with a hint of aquatic citrus (not listed). This is perfect for summer days at the beach. I get some similarities with Oud Minerale, but this smells better and is so much easier to wear. It's like a fresh summer breeze. Performance is stellar and the bottle is beautiful. Another love! Scent: 9.5/10 Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 9/10 Price/Performance Ratio: 6/10

A beautiful salt water scent, but it falls just a touch too far on the masculine register for me, very woody, now my brain is registering amboxan, rather strident, muscular, very unforgivingly ‘salty’ ( I still haven’t figured out how to smell salt.) I know the divine Acqua de Sale by Profumum is supposedly unisex but I find it more wearable personally, in fact I find that one to be a work of art. Yes. I’d recommend this beauty to the male, even though there is a woody vanilla softening the register.

Stunning. Love at first spray. I love all of the notes in this bottle. The opening is marine- fresh and a bit green. It's a welcomed, long-lasting opening that later transforms into a "beachy gourmand". At initial spray it feels like you're on a cliff feeling the sea breeze & ocean spray! The drydown is a salty vanilla and I absolutely love it. The salt and vanilla notes rise to the top which makes me think of a sunsoaked day at the beach. Easy to wear year round. Very different and well-made.

The vibe I get with this is being at a luxury resort spa. Oceanside getting a massage under a cabana. There is incense burning and a breeze is making the salty ocean air kiss your face. You are getting massaged with sandalwood and vanilla scented oil. It’s a luxurious and calming experience. It’s a beautiful fragrance but one I pull for on summer night outs and don’t overspray. It can get cloying if oversprayed. It’s a unique vanilla in my collection and I enjoy the imagery it brings to me.

The moon is full & low, the water ́s edge is almost invisible, it ́s dark & cold, salty breeze brushes your skin, you can smell wet sand & driftwood, seaweed, something smoky in the air /maybe it ́s a beach bonfire/, fresh cut grass, sea foam & /God knows what ́s wrong with you/ absinthe with its typical bittersweet & herbal aroma. Try it if you like MiN NY Dune Road & James Heeley Sel Marin.

Armani Bleu Turquoise is a scent in between commerical and niche. The smell is unique and distinctive, but the wearability is high at the same time. For the top note, I smell the menthol, mineral and incense, follow with the middle note of Ylang, Lily, cypriol and sweet vanilla, last with the bottom note of wood and musk. Overall the tone is light, texture is rough but airy, I can imagine walking along a windy beach, Spray it sparsely with a distance to have a better result.

Bought this just to complete my collection, not expecting anything after learning its an aquatic salty theme. BUT after wearing it, I love it. It’s NOT aquatic like JML Woodsage and Sea Salt or MCD Edenroc. This has the same DNA as the rest of this line, soft powdery very wearable sweet DNA. This is a very nice blend of aquatic note, salt, jasmine and vanilla. Totally wonderfully unexpected. Edit. Still projecting at 10+ hrs. At 12+hrs still can be smelled off clothing.

This reminds me of sitting around a fire at night after a long day of swimming and lying out at the beach. We might be in Hawaii at an outdoor bar, smelling the salty ocean air mixing with the wood and smoke from the fire. The humidity captures the smells of booze and blossoms as the tiki lamps flicker. That’s a lot to get from a fragrance and I don’t even have a full spray bottle yet but yeah it stirs up memories of happy times so I have this on my wish list!

This is a beautiful fragrance. This is what I expected YSL Babycat to smell like with the vanilla and the incense, but it didn't. I just ordered a FB after getting a sample. With the sample, the longevity was not that great, but I'm hoping its different with the real deal, as this has happened to me before. I do have Rouge Malachite as well, and I believe these two are the best in that line.

An absolute masterpiece. It's unique, it's complexed, it has a presence only a few other fragrances hold. Think of sitting in a hot spring under a clear night's sky, surrounded by minerals and volcanic soil. One sniff will be smoky, one will be salty, and another sniff spicy - completed by a gentle smoothing touch of vanilla and ylang ylang that sooths it all to the most desirable level.

This is gorgeous but I would prefer less vanilla. I fully agree with the Eros comparison. I totally disagree with the Oud Minérale and Sel Marin comparisons, they are not similar at all. Longevity and projection are incredible! I left the paper strip at my office, when I came back 24h later, the smell was filling the room.

Absolutely amazing, as there is nothing close to it to my nose. It's salty, fresh, herbal, musky but it can be completely divisive. I can't explain it. I love to go to it to remind myself what it smells like and this stuff is strong. It's definitely not like anything else and is a special one off type of fragrance.
