Armani Privé Charm'

Cute little candied violet/woody iris scent. Very nice, subtly sweet and just a tad on the femme side of unisex. Like Nacre, this is a good (not great) very modern and easy to wear perfume that should be priced much lower than it is. The presentation and price of these annual “limited edition” releases suggests a new perfume of extraordinary luxury and artistic statement. In light of this, these decent and otherwise desirable scents begin to look like all pomp and packaging. Like the business end was decided, followed by the package design and name and then one formula out of a few was chosen lightly to fulfill the launch deadline.

I have just became the happy owner of the bottle number 775/1000. I believe that the juice can be used both by men and women. Besides, the dark bottle is very elegant in choose of colors. The smell is sophisticated - perfect balance between flowers and tea and the notes of the tree. Armani did it again!

I was one of the first clients to smell this fragrance, it is currently exlcusive to Harrods (in the U.K.) It opens with a very rich and powdery iris note that reminded me of crushed parma violets. A burst of guaiac wood shortly followed, giving the scent an intoxicating depth that was unexpected, given its seemingly simple opening. Overall, this is a beautiful woody-floral fragrance with outstanding projection and longevity (on my skin). The packaging is très chic!

It smells like an old lady. Floral note smells stale and really concentrated. I'm male but if this had a floral note like "you or someone like you" I think I could of pulled this off. Anyways I bought this for the bottle it's a work of art.
