Emporio Armani Diamonds Rose

I've got this beautiful Diamonds flanker courtesy of my beloved partner. The three notes I could detect instantly were bergamot, rose and musk/ambrette seeds. Diamonds Rose is a twin sister to Escada Especially - both have slightly tangy, yet refreshing opening which mellows down to a beautiful rose with a distinct musky echo. Diamonds Rose, no doubt, would appeal to rose lovers - it is a perfect juice for coming Spring and Summer. Delicate, yet noticeable. There are certain things that never go out of fashion, a little black dress, classy stilettos, pearls and...apparently roses :-) A must have for all ladies out there looking for a naturally smelling rose juice or a shy, gentle substitute of a Stella McCartney rose monster. To me - both thumbs up!

This is the very first "real" perfume I fell in love with. I bought it blind, looking for the smell of rose. I couldn't detect even a hint of rose (still can't). Instead, what I got was pure, high quality licorice candy. It's not that it smelled the way licorice smells (as I soon learned when I went out and bought Lolita lempicka) but it smells the way good licorice candy TASTES. Seriously, to this day, I still bury my nose in my wrists about 50 times a day to get a good wiff. It is gourmand in the best, freshest way to me. I will love it forever.

I love this stuff. To me, it smells exactly like how the original Diamonds used to smell, back in the day. It’s not a special or wow perfume, but it smells so good and it is unique, even though that seems to contradict what I wrote about it not being very special. I love it.

I love this one SO much! Imagine transcendent, radiant springtime. I think, this perfume is a definition of self-worth, self-care, self-love, everything. Wearing it is like sending a prayer to a man you love to feel for you.

Lovely fresh sparkling lemony sherberty rose scent. Beautiful. Wish I bought a bigger bottle. Perfect for work - not overpowering. Ideal for spring summer and sunny autumn days. Happiness in a bottle!

I had about five minutes to pick out a perfume as a present from my step-mother-in-law while visiting in the UK. It was a hot, rainy day in the summer and we were rushing about working up a sweat. I told the woman helping us that I wanted something light, not too sweet, not too fruity or floral. This is what I ended up getting and wearing every day for the rest of the summer. I’m not sure I would describe it as “sparkling,” as on me it’s a musky rose right from the beginning. I think the reason I like it despite not being massively into florals is its simplicity. I get raspberry and rose with a hint of pepper/patchouli. It stays the same from beginning to end and is perfect for when I want something uncomplicated.

My dad bought this fragrance for me when it first came out so it has a special place in my heart. Since its release, I’ve gone on to purchase the original a few times as well as the limited edition Black Diamond (which was THE BEST out of the Diamonds collection by the way!) and I just can’t be without this scent in my collection. It’s a light, delicate, rose scent. Doesn’t project a lot and doesn’t last too long since it is a EDT but it is such a pretty and pink feminine fragrance which does actually get you compliments and works beautifully as a signature scent even if you haven’t top up later on in the day. Great for layering with other sweet or rosy scents too.

I tried this fragrance on for the first time and I'm still wearing it now. The opening was a very fresh, bright and dewy rose scent. It smelled like an actual bouquet of fresh picked roses. The dry down is a little more powdery but still fresh and smells like I applied rose scented dusting powder to my skin rather than perfume. The projection is extremely close to the skin and I can't smell it on me unless I bring my nose close to the area of my skin I sprayed it on.

Slightly reminiscent of a high school changing room in its inoffensive and girlish floral notes. But thankfully much more restrained than the average teenage girl is with her body sprays after gym. Very minimal but not in a way that will disappoint. I think I'll be reaching for it almost daily once spring rolls around. Safe but refined, lovely for layering! I think I'll always keep some of this in rotation.

This smells exactly like the original one which I also have. If you’re looking for a rose perfume, don’t get this, I don’t even get rose in this but rather raspberry, black currant & other white florals. It’s nice though. It smells very similar to another Armani perfume, Because It’s You. If you like popular YSL mon paris, you’ll like this too because they’re very similar, raspberry florals.

This is much better than the original Diamonds! Light, feminine, inoffensive and modest. Mostly I sense rose and raspberry. It gets sweeter after some time. The raspberry note gets stronger. I think it's too ordinary for me to love it, but it's not bad either. It's a casual everyday scent, not a "big" signature scent.

This is a very nice modern rose scent. There is something classic and vintage about it as well but definitely not old fashioned. There's nothing abrasive or cheap about it. It's a lovely soft fresh rose scent with a touch of sweetness from the raspberry and the ambrette gives it modern smoothness. Very nice.

This perfume smells sooo good! I thought the original Diamonds by Armani was a little too strong and heavy. This is the perfect lighter and sweeter version of it. Just smells so light, fresh and clean when you spray it on. Not to mention the drydown... it's so creamy and delicious!

I just bought this for £25 at superdrugs online only not in store..today sept-11th 2014 for 50ml I really like the bottle and the scent is reminiscent of vera wang stlye (princess) but yes it is definetley a nice cool tipple ofpink champagne, on a warm Autumn day its lovely.

This was a bit of an impulse buy, however I do not regret it. It's a very light, girly scent - ideal for spring or summer daytime, and the drydown isn't a generic conglomeration of saccharine sweet scents. The bottle also looks nice on a dresser when it catches the light.

This is my go-to spring fragrance! It's so light and fresh, perfect for warmer days. The rose scent is really beautiful, not too overpowering. I get lots of compliments when I wear this.

It's a modern rose perfume, sweetened with raspberry and black currant. It wears light on me, and the longevity isn't that fantastic. It's a safe scent to have, and to gift!

fresh, warm and clean, very comforting. i love the smell but its too feminine for my taste to wear on its own. this is what i'd like my skincare to smell like.

It's like a warm, dewy Indian rose. A Musky, delicate, pink rose. It also has a note that is quite shampooey or like damp shampooed hair

rose scented soap with a dash of citrus. this was only released in 2013 yet to me it gives 2006-2010 vibes. it's cheap and cheerful, and would make a good gift to someone who wants to smell really clean but not just 'straight out of the shower' sort of clean. rose is not my thing at all unfortunately, so i wouldn't wear this, but there's nothing 'bad' about it. it's suuuuuper spring orientated though, even if i did like rose a lot, i couldn't see myself wearing it outside of that period.

Very light, soapy and synthetic rose scent. Inoffensive and would work well in an office setting. Not unpleasant but lacks depth.

Sweet in a very "rose cheap perfume". Someone said Indian rose, I can see that. Fried Jalebi and Rose.

Extremely artificial rose and patchouli 🥶

This one is so refined, beautiful soft, less sharp than the first scent (witch one I like), but always recoqnizable! Love the almost nude color of it, in the beginning I thought, there is no much different ́s of this one, and all the others, but then I discovered the differents of the note's, and i always buy this perfume's again, and again, when I have smelled the drydown! Powdery rose is what I smell, very soft. So and now I have the hole serie of the Diamonds collection, inclusief the Summer Edition, and Black Carat, i'm very glad about it! My favorite one is Diamonds Intense, but now its difficult to choose, between Intense, or Diamonds Rose. I think this one is more subtle, and easy to wear!

I really dislike it when companies think "hmm we need a new fragrance but can't think of anything original... let's do a rose version of something!" When I heard at work Armani were to bring out a rose formulation of Diamonds I groaned... However I was very pleasantly surprised! I expected a dull shift around of the original but what I was met with was a wonderful development. The rose is soft and compliments the other notes in this fragrance- anybody who liked the original Diamonds I urge you to give this a go and enter with an open mind!

Rose,musk, bergamot. I got this as a gift which I surprisingly liked, its a cool spring smell. Am not a fan of cool rose smells, i like warm candy but this one is actually quite nice. very subtle and feminine, very young. a recommendation for anyone who likes soapy clean smells, I cant understand why I like it honestly, but quite nice.

Fresh soapy smell with a hint of rose as the name suggests. Really clean smelling perfect for every day in the office, university etc. but the sillage isn't too good. Noone has ever noticed me wear it... I do love keeping it in my bag though to spritz throughout the day as the scent isn't cloying at all and gives a fresh feeling.

I wanted to try this one for so long ,now finally i have a sample edt,and well its to much sheer for me, almost translucent ,no great combination of patchuli and rose, at least on my skin. I wanted to get that. Still its pretty. Freesia, lily of the valey and raspberry makes a impression of champagne. Strawberry champagne.

Armani Diamonds Rose smells like a watered-down version of original diamonds. A little bit of rose, clean, bubblegum scent. There's nothing to describe, really. If you like Diamonds, you will like whis flanker too. I like it even better, as it's more delicate. Smells yummy and fresh, but not exactly how I expected :)

I had this perfume as a gift years ago! I would love to buy again to refresh my memory even more- but I remember loving it. It was my day scent. I see a big difference between day / night time smells and this one suited perfect for an every day perfume. Very pretty , refreshing smelling!

This is my happy perfume. When I wake up and happily brew myself some coffee, put my makeup, jewellery on, wear pink or white, something elegant, it is a wonderful weather outside, I slip into my daydream.... and smell Diamonds Rose :)

Nasty plastic-TOO synthetic-pale "rose" at the beginning, delicious patchouli & ambrette (very similar to the Intense version) dry down.

this is wonderful & for an eau de toilette it last 12+ hours on me. it is similar the original but you tell them apart

I want to try this, as a rose lover it seems interesting to me!
