Emporio Armani Diamonds

This is a pretty... a very classy, non offensive fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking, but sooo delicate. I know it's been around for a long time, but I did not get acquainted with this beauty until about 2 years ago. It was a blind buy next to another purchase online I made, as it was discounted heavily and as it is a creation of Thierry Wasser, who already made loads of pretty masterpieces. It reminds me a quite a bit of Versace Bright Crystal, which I own and already consumed 2 bottles on as it's great in summer, but.. better! Guess the patchouli and vanilla make it a little bit more heavy, where Bright Crystal is even less dense and more watery, but, it's still very much a lightweight fragrance compared to most I own. Great fragrance in hot weather as I wore this a lot in humid Sri Lanka, together with V&R Bloom. Most amazing trip of my life and therefor I will always keep this close, Great perfume for settings where you just want to smell REALLY nice. It is juicy, cause of the lychee which stays most of the experience, a little bit sweet on the flowers, but not too much and dries down in a beautiful soft clean vanilla scent. As said, I think it's classy while keeping it simple at the same time.

I tried this perfume, and, loving it, have gotten every flanker I could get my hands on, in addition to a new bottle after I emptied the first. Imagine my indignation when after my using half a bottle a friend turns up wearing this, determinded to buy it for herself, and then later commenting upon my wearing it :p Usually I can't stand rose, I get headaches, but this blend not only makes the cut, it's one of my most reached-for perfumes. Have a care not to apply this one too liberally, although that's pretty much the rule with any perfume. For me, two spritzs are usually enough. It starts out quite sharp, I suppose that'd be the raspberriy and litchi and a barely-there whiff of vanilla, which softens as it dries down to rose and a more prominent scent of vanilla. Of course there's more to it, but these are the notes I find dominate this perfume. While it might get too heavy for daytime wear in summer, I find it to be suitable for pretty much any occasion, whether I'm off to work, shopping or going out with friends.

Looked through a million reviews here before trying this and THE ONE REVIEW that said it smells like BANANA SWEETS is the one that stood out to me. You know what? Yes. Exactly. 💛🍌🤣 It smells of champagne, fresh lilies, banana, litchi. The sweet brightness of the scent with the sweet litchi makes it share some similarities with "Miracle". It's very green and almost aquatic. I get a touch of red apple and lemon here, along with a pretty strong iris note. These are not listed, so this is just an interpretation based on my perception of the scent. One chagrin for me is that it seems HELLA weak, so looks to have been through reformulations. I'm presuming it must have been longer lasting originally. It's soft in character but appears to have a short life as well. Still, looking forward to wearing this one. Feels sort of comforting to me in a familiar way, like Cacharel's NOA also does. Along with Miracle, Chloè, Idylle, this is another scent that reaffirms/confirms my love of lychee in perfumery.

Acquired this as a blind buy just solely basing on a magazine review when it was first released in my country. Funny as it was described to match a "PARTY"-phile's personality which is really far from mine.The BIGGEST surprise is how I fell in love with the scent so much right on the first sniff. It opens with a sparkling composition of fruits (litchi, raspberry) which is warmed by an earthy nuance that can only be distinguished on the heart as notes of patchouli and cedar. On me, it comes off very woody and a bit spicy with hints of the "edible" rose like the campaign claims. The raspberry, on the other hand, impishly comes and goes then settles until the dry down adding sweetness to a seductive yet warm blend of amber, vanilla, & vetiver. I can only describe it as POWERFUL yet BEAUTIFUL; SOPHISTICATED and ultra-feminine fragrance... Longevity is really good with 10+ hours staying power. Sillage is also decent at arms length.

Emporio Armani Diamonds for Women is linear, simple and... I love it. I'm truly glad that it doesn't have resemblance to Emporio Armani Diamonds for Men that I don't particularly dig... This sounds so stupid but when I smelled this, it was like I sniffed a fragrance for the very first time in my life and I was so blown away. It's sexy and so much more. Longevity on my skin: somewhere between weak and moderate. I wish it lasted longer. This is a signature scent worthy fragrance. I'm still testing but I can imagine this to be very versatile, any season, any situation. Wow. This is better than my other love, Versace Bright Crystal. I don't know if this sounds any sensible, but I think that Acqua Di Gio Profumo is the ultimate "for men" scent. This Diamonds could just be the ultimate "for women" scent! Thierry Wasser , from now on I will dive into your creations. This has truly impacted me in a good way.

I must live on another planet. Or my 'smeller' is broken. Or perhaps it's just different on my skin. I LOVE this fragrance, it's almost beast mode on me - VERY strong, lasts a long time, and it's a bit heavy IMHO. Sweet, complex, and very mature. As an oversprayer, I have to use with caution. The notes that seem to hit me most are NOT the litchi, raspberry and vanilla that I was hoping for, but mostly rose, florals, lily of the valley, patchouli and amber. Was gifted a bottle of this years ago, and of course, it was then discontinued. 🙄 Along with my #1 favorite-ever fragrance. 😭 💔 Ugh. The smell takes me back to the 2010s in Dallas, TX. Thankfully, there are still bottles to be had out there, but they'll be gone soon too. BTW does anyone know what layers/blends well with this scent???

I love Armani Diamonds. I would love for it to be my signature scent but even the EDP does not hold on my skin. I get compliments within the first few hours and love the whiffs I get but the it just fades. I thought the intense version would have more longevity which it does. However, the brightness and subtle flower sweetness of Diamonds is very different from the more spicy vanilla that I get with the intense. Diamonds is a lovely scent and very safe for the office as it does not overpower and perhaps on a different skin type It may have more longevity. My skin tends to be on the dry side especially in the winter. I would love to try it with a body lotion version but have been unable to find the lotion.

If you’re reading this review listen up! This perfume has such a character its all in one honestly and its so underrated i got this as a birthday gift three years ago and I instantly finished the perfume and ended up getting another one because i love it! What i mean by all in one is its such a clean smell you’ll smell like everything about you and your life is clean and good, its lowkey seductive too because of the vanilla and rose and thats what men love in women’s fragrances. Its a night day summer spring winter autumn smell the best of all worlds so basically its versatile! And also its for any age group everything about this perfume is just amazing and itll suit anyone for any event!

I used to have this in 2007-2008 when it came out, and I remember being all over the moon about it. Me and my mom. Armani Diamonds. All day long. I think it must have been my most worn perfume in my highschool years, together with Dior Pure Poison. Everyone else in my class wore Britney Spears Fantasy and "Eau the Fake Tan" and I just felt so classy, lol. But to the fragrance itself - More than just trigger the nostalgic memories, I still think it is a really good perfume to this day. To me this is the smell of a glass of champagne. This is the exact opposite to dark, smokey, woody "rum and whiskey" fragrances. Fresh, floral, and a bit of a dry juicyness - like a starchy grape.

This really is a beautiful unique scent, no other fragrance is similar to it. The scent is strong and powerful at first & then becomes more sweet and powdery. It is classy charming and ultra feminine. It makes me feel confident and upbeat whenever i wear it. I would reccomend it to anyone, life seems much more joyful & pleasurable when wearing it. It is such a happy perfume and gives off a positive vibe. All the notes work beautifully together it screams i am a free-spirited independent woman ! I get loads of compliments when i wear this, it always strikes and intrigues people, it is the one to wear if you are looking to leave your mark on someone through your fragrance!

OHHHH MY GOD! Diamonds was a surprise for me ... Smells like raspberry with vanilla in the right proportion, reminds me white chocolate .. I love it! When I use this perfume is felt throughout the room, and the lasting power is perfect: lasts all day!!! On all occasions that I use diamonds people asked me what fragance had used..No fails, all recognize your incredible presence! It's a scent for the whole year, and anytime ... Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. I got this as a Scent-box subscription and IMMEDIATELY threw it on my Christmas wish list and thanks to my darling sister I just opened it a few days ago. This is so elegant and so pretty! I truly don’t know exactly how to describe it. I don’t understand all the hate it’s getting in the reviews below...very odd to me. This is feminine and beautiful. Sprayed it on last night and my sister said she kept smelling it all night long and every time she did she’d say “man you smell so good!”. Will definitely re-buy and keep this beauty in my rotation.

it is not a cubic zirconia it is a diamond :) wonderful beautiful feminine fragrance sweet lychee and raspberry with flowers in the background I got it a few months and I use for a special occasion These perfumes are very versatile for me - a sort of "everyday elegance" and I I finally found "my precious". The longest stays on the hair (1-2 days) because from the skin disappears after 5 hours For me for the whole year, for every time of day or night - whenever I want to get a feel for the little bit of luxury Bottle marvelous, a real decoration of each dressing

I think this range has been discontinued but it is everywhere here in Australia. I tried it because I thought it would be bright classy smell. I wanted it to be a little like Jadore or 5th Avenue but there was so much sweet raspberries which I didn't expect because I had not reae the reviews on here. I do like it but it was not what I wanted and so I probably wouldn't bother with it. It is very expensive and I don't trust it to last more than 5 minutes. I already have Parissiene by Yves Saint Lauren so when I want something sweet but classy I can use that.

I used to wear this perfume in high school and remember I absolutely adored it. As I matured, I started to find this perfume too sweet, unsophisticated and way too mainstream. I can't say I hate it now, I like it when I smell it on someone else. But I think it doesn't have enough personality so that I will ever wear it. On the good side girls, all the guys that felt this perfume on me said they were hypnotised by the scent. I think it has something to do with the fact that if you smell like a cake, they subconsciously find you wife material.

Sitting here at work, at my desk...8 hours after first spraying Diamonds, and still getting plenty of wonderful wafts of it, it quite simply is gorgeous. Is one of my favourite perfumes, yes it is sweet, but it is a very grown up sweet and elegant fragrance. I feel very sophistiacted wearing this today, I am sitting here in tee shirt and jeans, but this fragrance would be equally as apropriate for wearing with a power suit, of a powerful lady. Elegant is the word for this perfume.

Beautiful perfume! Classy modern sexy, perfect combination :) Scent is almost intoxicating, vivid and sparkling every time I wear, you simply cannot be bored with Diamonds:) I love it especially because somehow it manages to be as fresh as sweet, so it can be perfect for day (even gym in my case ;) ) as night club, not so often in perfumery. The bottle is georgeus, simply but sophisticated, longevity is rather ok'eish, sillage is also good. Definetly gem for me :)

I bought this as a blind buy, as it was on sale and the notes sounded good to me when i spray it on at first its a really strong rosey floral scent to me which was a little intense for me but after 30 seconds or so as it dried down to my skin omg its beautiful, really get the Rasberry, cedar, and vanilla coming through with a hint of floral I love it. it's in my new faves collection! I've had it on for 4 hours now and I can still smell it so lovely

The 1st time i've tried it at the store, i was like "OMG OMG OMG, its smell so gorgeous !~~" And then for sure, i bought one home. Spend it for an year, go to store again and bough another one >"< The 1st parfum makes me want to buy again (i spent J'adore, Cool water, Eclat, Vanitas, Poison, Guess, Happy spirit) >"< It's fresh, sweet and fruity, i just cant stop smelling it >"< And i'll try all versions of this series, promise!

I was surprised to see 'raspberry' come up so often in the reviews. I loathe fruity perfume, especially with raspberry. Citrus is fine - berries, no way. This is not sweet on me, just very spicy and woody with a beautiful warm drydown and excellent sillage - up to 24 hours. I always receive compliments when I wear it. Makes me wonder, are other people smelling it the same way I am? When I'm wearing it, that is?

I think this perfume is a classic already, and if not, it should be!!! There are so many bad perfumes seen as classic and this wonderful scent is so underrated, I even got surprised to see some of the reviews...most of them talk bad about it. :( Is one of my most fav perfumes ever and yes is sweet, but is a grown up sweet and elegant, what a confident woman should wear!! For me is 10/10, no complaints.

I love this perfume and the bottle, but the atomiser is terrible to look at ( so masculine and sporty) awkward to press and the spray nozzle performs terribly. I get a straight out jet of liquid, no mist. (Banderas scents have the best atomisers!) Frustrating to use, delightful to smell. Reminds me of a sunny litchi version of Avon Tomorrow, which is a warm peach. Both share raspberry.

I got this as a present. As I tend to like gourmand scents, I welcomed the gift. It`s very sweet smelling. I sense a lot of lutchi and vanilla, just like in the description. I can`t sense it on my skin. Its sweetness is almost sickening but it works out well on a night out at the theatre.I cannot correlate the name with the scent though! Not my favourite but it`s very nice to have it!

I smelled this on a tester and it kinda reminds me of this elegant, sexy, and sophisticated woman in her 20's, dressed in a sparkly evening cocktail dress attending a party by the poolside. Very elegant, crisp, fruity and clean at the same time. The notes sometimes remind me of cheaper colognes though, but it's still worth it! Scent lasts long too, and the bottle's not to be missed :)

This fragrance has a warmth and slightly fruity sweetness, with a hint of vanilla. A very lovely sexy scent. On my skin, this is very much like the discontinued "Encounter" by Victoria's Secret, one of my all time faves that isn't listed in the database here. Diamonds is a bit more fruity, and the vanilla is more prevelent, but the reason I bought this is because of the similarity.

Purchased this perfume recently after I smelled it on a co-worker. I really like this perfume, it's sweet and fresh too. It's one of them scents that isn't overpowering or anything, just nice. Lasting power is okay, after a while I can't really smell it anymore, even though I still get compliments :) The bottle makes my collection look fancy. :D Haha. I wear this for everyday.

Would I call this a fruity scent? Not really. I think what compliments is with that 'fruity' or sweet hint is the lychee. Surprized to see the raspberry. It's no gourmand. I think the combination of the cedar and the lychee gives it its magic. The guy I met end of January 2009 gave it to me as a gift on my birthday February. A brilliant choice,my beautiful husband! :)

I love how versatile this perfume is. You can wear it during the day as a fresh, young & yummy scent, or during the night as a more sultry fragrance. My boyfriend absolutely adores this on me - most likely due to the vanilla! The strongest notes I get are raspberry, lychee & vanilla. I have the EDP and the longevity is quite impressive and dries down very very nicely.

Hubby says it smells like Turkish delight, must be the rose. This is very wearable, super fresh, sparkling, playful and feminine. The name and bottle are absolutely spot on. I like it from top notes to base which is quite an achievement for me, this will be my 2014 summer fragrance for sure. Lasting power and sillage are moderate, it lingers beautifully.

Extremely well blended and it does justice and honours its respected label. Soft floral, very elegant and well behaved, perfect scent for office, day events, holiday, classy meetings. Wore it at 40 degrees C and it performed exceptionally. I would say it is a must have in any collection and a lovely and safe present. Good value too.

Sexy, feminine and elegant scent, perfect for an everyday wear, safe for a blind-buy. Unfortunately underestimated and underrated. ❤️ I don't know where the people (in the down below comments) get the "aquatic" vibes from. This perfume is everything BUT aquatic. This an Oriental Floral scent, warm and seductive. 8,5/10

I have longed for a fragrance which lived up to it's claims of berry top notes because I love the scent of fresh berries. Raspberries are my favourite and the spices cutting through lend it an aura of sophistication and warmth. For me, this scent just cries out "joie de vivre" and lightness of spirit.

The reason why I bought in the first place was that the second I smelled it, it reminded me of Accenti by Gucci, which unfortunately is discontinued. This perfume is the best replacement I've found so far. Can anyone recommend another perfume with equal similarities, I would be thrilled ;O)

Love, love, love this fragrance that's all i can say, very long lasting, strong but not overpowering it's a 10 for me one of my favorites. I also have violet version, it's nice summery perfume i like it too but not as i love this one!!! 9/10

I've received a recent-ish bottle of this as a gift, it's much less peachy and it's got a lot more patchouli than my previous bottle from the past. Anybody got the good stuff and wanna trade for the current one?

I agree. It really smells like Turkish delight!! So delicious and sexy although I can't say it is a strong perfume. Very wearable. You can wear it both day and night and also in all seasons. Must have it!

I have tried a lot of perfumes and I keep going back to this for every day wear. It has a beautiful scent, lasts quite well and it gets compliments. This is a scent I will always keep in my bag.

I love this. Quickly finished this one and it is still a favourite. I can pick this every time I meet someone wearing it. Definitely a must for every woman to try once. It's suited to spring☺

I'm a guy and wear this. It's such a banger. Reminiscent of the oldschool citrus fougere's but with a slightly spicy take. Think of Cartier Declaration but with more citrus.

A bowl with cream and fruits! Fresh and sweet at the same time. It has great sillage and it is noticable without being heavy. Love it and so does everybody else around me.

My absolute favourite, used to wear it all the time when I was 18. The scent now brings me nostalgia. Everytime I've wore it, I would get complements.

A bright, sparkly day time perfume. You can detect the raspberry, but it does'nt shout, it just whispers class, unless you douse yourself in it.

This is beautiful. Perhaps it's the raspberry Rose, but it reminds of my Tresor midnight Rose. It's a very very nice fragrance. I Love it!
