Emporio Armani Stronger With You Amber

My signature scent for sure. My introduction to this fragrance was only recent, as I've only just recently gotten more involved in the perfume world, but personally while going around multiple malls and using the testers in Sephora/Douglas, this is the scent that caught my attention the most out of all the other designer fragrances. I haven't yet been tapped too much into niche fragrances so I can't say much about comparing it to that part of fragrances. Nonetheless, making the introduction that long is so I can clarify that when I say this is my favorite winter fragrance, that I have ever smelt, I mean it, without exaggeration. It's perfect, in my opinion, it makes me want to keep smelling my clothes, it's very addictive and alluring, and so far everyone around me that's commented on it has said that it smells amazing aswell, (especially women). Some comments say it's too sweet for them, or feminine (?). I don't get that at all, it's an amazingly elegant fragrance with a perfect balance between its notes. You will absolutely get complimented during winter for wearing this. Comparing it to the other SWY's, as I previously stated, this stood out the most to me, SWY and SWY Absolutely were just not it for me from the start, and Intensely was good, but this took it a step further for me. It's just a better Intensely in my opinion. My nose may not be as refined as the old men on here who have been collecting fragrances for decades, but if people tell you that you smell good, then you're doing something right. Must buy for winter. Sillage 9/10. Longevity 10/10. (especially on clothes) Scent 10/10.

Emporio Armani Stronger With You Amber represents a sophisticated and almost "niche" evolution of the famous Stronger With You line. Launched in 2023, this chapter moves away slightly from the extreme gourmand sweetness of its predecessors to embrace a warmer and more enveloping elegance. Despite belonging to the Oriental Fougère group, the real protagonist here is a rich and honeyed amber that gives the perfume a golden and luminous character. Opening: You can immediately perceive the DNA of the line (the lavender and that spicy touch), but it is immediately smoothed out by a very present amber note. Heart: Lavender provides an aromatic cleansing that keeps the fragrance from becoming too heavy or "sticky". Bottom: The dry-down is the strong point. Amber magically blends with Madagascar vanilla, creating a creamy, warm and slightly woody and enveloping trail that persists over time. Compared to Stronger With You Intensely or Absolutely, the Amber version is: More Mature: Less "chewing gum" and more resinous. Exclusive: It is part of the special editions that often have a more limited distribution, making it less common among the crowd. Balanced: The amber accord adds a "sunny" depth that perfectly balances the warm spices. Expert's opinion: If you love perfumes that smell like a "warm embrace" and are looking for something elegant for a dinner or a date in the cold months, this is probably the best variant of the line after the original. Although it is classified as unisex, many a perfect point of union between commercial and luxury Arab perfumery, thanks to the quality of the amber used.

Underrated and beautiful piece of work. It has the same lavender as SWY Parfum. It is not as mature as the Parfum version, but it is still very mature, more than any other SWY flankers. People usually compare this to SWY Intensely, yes the vanilla base is similar, but they are NOT the same. They are very different. Try to imagine SWY Parfum’s lavender and the mature nature of that perfume, mix it with the typical SWY DNA vanillin base, add a bit more floral and amp it up with smouldering amber. In my opinion this is the best SWY flanker, along with the Parfum version. Yes, better than Absolutely and Intensely imo. This is a great choice if you love the SWY DNA, and at the same time you want to stand out amongst the croud and your friend group. Longevity is great, easily 10+ hours. Projection is good, projects better than SWY Intensely surprisingly, on my skin of course. This is highly subjective on which SWY is your favorite, and which you should go for. Each has their own skin chemistry, but in my opinion this is the best SWY out right now. I will gatekeep this from my friends. Longevity: 10/10 Projection: 9.5/10 Scent profile: 9.5/10 Compliment factor: 9/10 Overall: 9.5/10.

My son loves the SWY series that this is my 2nd flanker aside from the OG. I know this has been redundant. You will only know differences if you compare them side by side. So far this has been my favorite among the three. Opening is sweet vanilla lavander with still that burnt caramel smell (for me) that is the signature of SWY. I preferred this among the three in that the sweetness is the most subdued. Not as "in your face" as the OG. At mid dry down you'll smell a little iris note retaining the vanilla scent then dries down powdery. If you have the other 2, save your money. If people are used to smellin you with the character of SWY or Khamrah, they won't know the difference. Of course compliments will be there but you are better off with just one SWY. Performance will make it worth the money at a conservative 7-8 hours but can go longer on clothes. Projection might be 2 arms length or more on respray. I guess I can say the same with Sillage. It won't be named as such if it will not perform. Once smelled, they will remember your name. 😊

SWYA is truly a stunning and easy to wear masculine forward (although very wearable for women) amber fragrance. SWYA is also a very safe blind buy if you enjoy sweet/semi-sweet Amber forward fragrances. SWYA doesn’t really deviate from the SWY scent lineage. Just image SWY (OG) or SWYI with a slight reduction in sweetness. However, with a nice infusion of Amber that lasts throughout the wearing life-cycle. This stuff is 🔥 The vanilla note in SWYA have been done so exquisitely that SWYA doesn’t have the typical cheap vanillic smell that many vanilla infused fragrances can typically have. Performance and scent quality is also top notch and I am experiencing 16+ hours of performance. I suspect most people will easily yield upwards of 10 hours of longevity. Depending upon an individual’s skin chemistry, et cetera. If you want to own SWYA. Don’t wait to long to get yourself a bottle as reseller prices will likely become highly inflated. 💯 Overall: 8.5/10

Stronger With You Amber by Giorgio Armani is an amber, spicy, and woody fragrance. As its name suggests, this fragrance is based on the amber note, following the DNA of the Stronger With You line. The scent is very pleasant, less sweet than others in the line, but still sweet, because the vanilla is evident, though better balanced, similar to how they created the sandalwood-based version. In fact, I think both Amber and Sandalwood are my favorites from the Stronger With You line. Like almost the entire line, this fragrance is best suited for autumn and winter, cool weather, evenings out, romantic outings, or dates with friends. Its longevity exceeded 12 hours on me, with good sillage. A beautiful fragrance and a beautiful bottle with that amber color. The scent is pleasing to both the wearer and those around them, so I encourage you to try it and decide whether or not to buy it.

Absolutely was too dark, intensely was too sweet. Amber has the perfect balance of a smooth slightly dark fragrance that leans masculine while still smelling soft and approachable. I can kinda see a women wearing this but personally find it masc. On my skin 5 sprays i am able to get unsolicited compliments from those nearby me, just a point below intensely in terms of projection but better than absolutely. Previously owned Jo malone Velvet rose and oud, some comments say this smells like a rose oud combo but im not really getting it. mainly vanilla amber blend and hints of lavender. If youre choosing between the diff flankers to purchaser and amber is simmilarly priced to the others id say get this! Projection 8/10 Sillage 8.5/10 Smell 9.5/10

This is a hidden gem. Intensely and a Absolutely get most of the hype, and it saddens me that it doesn't get nearly enough. It takes the harsh and cloying Amberwood and replaces it with a more balanced and powdery Amber Accord. This fragrance is no slouch at all when it comes to performance. I hiked to the summit of a mountain in Felougha at under 10 °C; my body was fighting hypothermia, and my nose was running, yet I could still catch whiffs of this scent many hours in, even in the worst conditions I could have been in. This has a special place in my heart!

I think that this perfume is quite overlooked because of it being in the stronger with you line which has some really great fragrances. But even if its in that line I would say that its one of the best stronger with you’s. The amber could maybe be a bit stronger but I think it blends really well with the rest which makes it a really good and delicate winter fragrance. Would highly recomend buying stronger with you amber but would recomend buying a sample or testing it before because you have to buy a hundred ml bottle if you arent buying it from a friend.

This is immediately my favorite from the line. It has that signature gourmand open but this really sets itself apart on the dry down. This is that beautiful fragrance I smell in the air the moment I walk into a mall in Dubai or Kuwait. I always thought it was probably the rose/Oud combo in the dry down but maybe Amber is the note I loved all along. I guess it’s the Oud Fragrance we all want minus the barnyard Oud. I know this doesn’t make much sense but take this for a test drive and read it’ll make sense lol

I love this fragrance! I just got it today and I can honestly say it's wonderful. People bag on it for being similar to Intensely, and while it is similar they are both special. They both smell like Christmas, the only difference being this is a slightly less sweet more inviting kind of christmas. It is also less popular and cheaper than Intensely so if you want something that less people have and won't break the bank, this is a wonderful choice. This fragrance is so elegant, super smooth.

Ignore the down-voting virgin army on this one. This slots comfortably in the middle of the line for me - better than the OG, Only, and Freeze, but not quite equal with Leather, Oud, and Absolutely. However this would undoubtedly be more suitable in an office environment. It is slightly more vanillic and has a bit of a powdery-caramel vibe going on. Slightly more unisex than the others in the line, but honestly not much. This is probably redundant to own unless you are a fan of the line.

I don't know if this is new for the US market, but I got a sample right from a retail bottle at Macy's. I love it. The vanilla and lavender does remind me of the ones in Valentino BIR Intense though. Obviously this is has the warm amber profile in it as well.... But it doesn't seem to last very long. It becomes a skin scent in about 2 hours. I will say, this is probably amazing for layering! I was testing this at one point with Dior Homme Intense and it was insane!

too much for the warmer weather of where I live but at night this thing is a beast. I love this thing though, it makes me feel a little more mature and confident which is the boost I need for those occasions. For other people though I always suggest Intensely or Absolutely because this might not be their cup of tea or not perform on their skin as I see in the other reviews. Also this thing sometimes gets u weird compliments, both types of weird lol.

I love ambers of all 'styles' for the most part. The fragrance would really have to be something poorly thought out for me not to like it. This one is great! Nice blend of the SWY base and the added amber just makes it warmer, and more rich. It is a profile that is already a bit sweet, but I feel as though the slightly bitter nature of the amber used here actually helps balance it out a bit. Longevity and sillage/projection are very good for me.

It really is what it says. Stronger With You DNA, with an amber twist. I think this smells really great honestly. It seems like they've decided to make it available here in France, so I'm glad I could try it. It's not a niche level amber, it doesn't have that sensual ambery backbone. But it smells like a very good designer amber with vanilla and an aromatic touch. Very comforting, perfect for the colder months. Performance is above average.

I was at the stores testing this perfume, it smells like christmas in a bottle initial spray and stays that way for about 4h. When I got home I smelled BR540, and thought it was my apartment smelling this way until I sniffed my arm (Which doesn’t dissapoint in any way, but surprised me). Anywho, this perfume certainly leans more masculine but is more feminine than the SWY intensly. I am definitly getting this for both me and my boyfriend.

Right off the bat, gentle and cozy lavender with hints of amber. As it dries down, more sweet vanilla and you get that familiar SWY DNA, but I don't think it is redundant - it's definitely different enough to the other SWY flankers to own this and Intensely, for example. I get great performance, around 10 hours longevity with strong projection. Would recommend for winter and is one of my favourite SWYs

Finally got my nose on this today; this is a delightfully warm amber-vanilla fragrance with a bit of powdery lavender that adds a noticeably fougere element to this fragrance. Perfect for autumn and winter months, works across any setting and projects wonderfully. I'd definitely buy a full bottle of this, the Stronger With You Line is consistently lovely.

My Xmas gift for myself. Blind bought it and went just on comments and notes, with that I say that this is simply one of the most underrated frags out there! I get about 8-10hrs on the skin and it projects very well. It’s sweet, it’s crazy addicting, perfect for the colder weather! Perfect for dates, church and for causal gatherings. 9/10 in my book! 💎

This is truly a masterful scent. It strikes the most incredible balance between a sweet formality and sheer versatility. I can't think of a single situation it wouldn't be perfect for; it just fits into any setting with ease. Edit: You can use it for layering, the ambery vanilla can play a supportive role with other fragrances you perfer.

Just how you expect it. Stronger with you intensely with a touch of amber, basically all it is. A designer type of amber, rich and slightly sweet. If you are interested in trying this one in the United States, Macys has been rolling it out. Projects slight better than intensely and projects the same. 8.5/10

By far the best from the line!! If you have SWY Intensely, or Absolutely, I still would highly recommend SWY Amber. SWY Amber is on its own, and stands out differently, in an amazing way. I also have the best projectivity and sillage from SWY Amber. Highly recommend everyone to try this beauty!!! 9.5/10

First 30 mins you can fill buildings with its projection and then it settles, wonderful smell and as a man from the middle east it fits perfectly to my taste and vibe. Main issue in lasting time... Usually holds like 3h, many compliments and very felt wherever i go, but 3-4h... 8/10 for me

Closely resembles Stronger with You Absolutely but without the chestnut 🌰 and rum. It's quite nice actually, even though it feels like a redundant flanker. I might like this better than SWY Absolutely. Update: I don't. I still feel it's heavily redundant. It's good though.

The same DNA as other SWY line but this one has prominent amber scent. Absolute banger. Great performance too on me. Although tbh I'd still prefer SWY absolutely for it's nutty scent. But both are the best from SWY line imo. Definitely worth to buy if you love amber frag.

Really good flanker of SWY, might not differ that much from Absolutely and Intensely but if you have none, would be a good choice. It feels like a stronger vanilla/amber than other SWY but with a huge blow at the first spray.

Wow! This scent is intoxicating. The amber and vanilla are so warm and inviting, with a hint of lavender that adds a fresh touch. It's definitely unisex, but I think it leans slightly masculine. Perfect for colder weather.

In my opinion this is the best flanker in the line. When i tried it at the store and went to a cafe, the cashier said "wow you smell amazing!" and definitely made my day. The fastest compliment getter.

Powerful and beautiful manly amber fougere. This is quite similar to PR 1 Million Privé in the air, but for me, both are really good and potent, and worth owning. 9/10 overall.

For me it is really good during autumn it has that SWY DNA but that lavender and amber just make me think of autumn. Pretty good, sad to hear its discontinued

Really warm and inviting, I find it similar to Intensely but a bit less sweet and a bit more smoky so for those who find intensely too sweet, this is a shout.

Not the best flanker to me the best is Absolutely. This is a banger though the amber is lovely. Also Great Performance! Highly recommend as a winter scent.

Nothing really surprising; it's just a warm vanilla with a touch of lavender, and that's about it. Its good for layering imo.
