This is an absolute masterpiece, probably the best winter frag imo. It starts out noticeably different than Intensely and Absolutely, with a creamy, woody element that is so good but yet it’s unique in a way. It also has the signature chestnut and vanilla notes of swy but they are enhanced by the spicy saffron. Nearly every other review notes something about how this fragrance is “creamy,” and I completely agree. This fragrance reminds me of having a full but not overly full belly and being by a fireplace with my loved ones when it’s very cold outside. It’s the essence of being comfortable and cozy. This fragrance is as if swy absolutely’s sweetness was toned way down and it had a baby with mm’s by the fireplace. That’s the best way I can describe it. It’s smoky, woody, nutty, with a hint of vanilla and spice. It just smells so good. This fragrance smells like a hug from someone you love. That sounds really corny and like I’m pr trained by Armani or something but I’m not. This fragrance is truly amazing. Imo, leans 80% male, but I could see how a woman could pull this off if her skin didn’t project the spiciness. Also, people complain that this is too similar to swy parfum, but I own both and they’re very noticeably different. Parfum ups the smokiness a lot and adds in leather and lavender, making it a bit darker but also sweeter. Parfum does not have the “feel good creamy” smell that sandalwood has. I would say they’re 65-70% similar to my nose. So yeah please don’t buy this because I want this to be my signature thanks 🥰 No just kidding I seriously recommend ts even at $140 on Jomashop.

This whole line is outstanding. I love them all. The fact that they are limited-release makes them less 'flankery' in my opinion. I mean, obviously, they're still flankers, just not in the traditional sense. Anyway, I love this one and find that some reviews here are confusing at best, and misleading at worst. You can absolutely pick up on a fantastic sandalwood throughout this fragrances entire evolution. It is there literally from the time the top burns off to the end of the deep dry down. The fact that they've dialed back the sweetness level is much appreciated. I find the regulars (Intensely and absolutely) to be far too sweet and in-your-face. This is dryer, and much smoother than those. I do see a lot of comparisons to the Parfum, specifically. I don't find this redundant AT ALL to the Parfum. They are distinctly different from one another. I feel that way about each and every iteration that has come from this line. Each brings its own flavor to the DNA, whilst keeping the base DNA lurking beneath the surface. The performance here is nothing short of astounding, in my personal experience. An easily repeatable 10-12 on skin that projects a nice scent bubble for a few hours with only a couple sprays. More than adequate. It is becoming harder to find, and there are a ton of fakes out there. Use caution unless you are obtaining it from a known and reputable source. (Avoid what I had to go through). I'm looking forward to the next limited edition (spices?) and at least I know now that I can blind-buy it without worry.

This is genuinely a perfect fall and winter fragrance for men. I’m so glad I got my hands on this when it was available on Jomashop, because now you’re lucky to find it anywhere reliable. The best way to describe this is SWY Parfum, but if you ripped out that sweet element and replaced it with a smooth, creamy, and smoky sandalwood note. THAT IS NOT TO SAY IT IS VERY SIMILAR TO SWY PARFUM. I own both, and they each have a different time and place to be worn; Sandalwood is a more versatile and unique fragrance for every day and signature scent, and Parfum leans more designer-y night out and dinner date, but it still great, just way sweeter. The sandalwood note is almost lactonic, but not in a very gourmand or sugary way. This is like a distant cousin in the SWY line. You can tell they’re related, but it’s vastly different from all the others that I’ve smelled at least. This smells like a niche fragrance, especially when compared to the other designer-smelling versions in the SWY line. It’s very unique, but still mass-appealing in an odd but addictive way. If you’re more into gourmand fragrances, you could like this, but just be warned that it is hardly sweet. Performance in my skin is about 7 hours performance and 10 hours skin scent. If you are the type of person that only loves party fragrances or fragrances that are basic and just attention-seeking, you probably shouldn’t try to buy this. But, for the people who enjoy elegant and smooth fragrances, this is a must have. Absolutely stunning.

They really managed to pull off a low-key fougère, I’m impressed! What you see is what you get, mainly sandalwood. Though the nuances are so well managed to lay down and appear throughout the dry-down. It starts with a saffron note so stark even an American who probably never cooked with it would understand, accompanied by a cozy nuttiness and a tiny bit of comforting lavender, somewhat justifying the SWY name. It’s not long however until the Sandalwood completely takes over, shoving the saffron out the spot light, not off stage. It becomes sweeter, almost lactonic which in turn kind of evokes feeling of a latte (this pairs exceptionally well with coffee notes!). It loses the juiciness in its final stages of dry-down, it reminds me a bit of a cake with the heart’s subtle sweetness lingering on, with some hints of vanilla, only contrasted by feelings of darker, balsamic woodiness they call “cedarwood”. Overall, really a creative flanker to the overwhelmingly gratingly sweet cinnamon bomb that is the original. Nailed it and unfortunate it’s become hard to acquire (thank you jérémy for providing me with one bottle:-))! PS: the people expecting a dry, woody fragrance haven’t read the self-description of the “sugar-coated chestnut accord” or just the name as a matter of fact. Stronger with you is one of the sweetest, most pungent designer fougères currently on the market. If you think they did something completely else here, you’re just setting yourself up for disappointment, sorry to say! 🤷🏼

Stronger With You Sandalwood – Easily My Favorite in the Line (More Mature, Less Sweet) Just wanted to drop a quick review of Stronger With You Sandalwood it might be the sleeper hit of the line for me. Right out the gate, you're hit with this beautiful burst of saffron completely different from the typical openings of the others in the SWY line. It's smooth, warm, and almost niche quality in how it's done. Not harsh or overpowering, just rich and really well blended. The sweetness that usually defines this line is toned way down here. You still get the core Stronger With You DNA, but with a more grown-up twist. There’s a soft roasted chestnut vibe hanging in the background, but what really carries this scent is the dry, masculine woods in the base sandalwood and cedar. Don’t expect that creamy sandalwood like in other designer releases; this one leans drier and woodier, with cedar coming through pretty prominently. The saffron actually lingers nicely throughout the wear, giving the whole thing a luxurious edge. Performance-wise, it projects well for the first couple hours almost beast mode but not quite and I’m getting a solid 8 hours of longevity on skin. To me, this is hands down the most mature and masculine take on the SWY DNA. Best suited for guys 25+ or anyone looking to move away from the overly sweet, juvenile stuff that’s been flooding the market lately. Definitely a keeper and my personal favorite from the line.

If you just want to know if this new flanker smells good - yeah, it smells amazing. An immediate compliment getter, though it still has that slight edge and uniqueness to it in a world full of sweet-tooth fragrances like Le Male Elixirs and it's older brother SWY Intensely. I now own both SWY Oud and SWY Sandalwood, and let me tell you - they are different, but not by a whole lot. I sprayed one on each arm, in the immediate opening SWY Oud just MIGHT have a touch more vanilla present whereas SWY Sandalwood goes just a wee bit more spicy due to the saffron note. After a few minutes they started to diverge from one another, SWY Oud stayed very strong, sweet yet masculine. SWY Sandalwood however calmed down somewhat, sitting closer to the skin, still evoking a sense of masculinity and authority but in a different way. If SWY Oud demands authority and respect to it's presence with a shout the moment it enters the lobby - SWY Sandalwood merely suggests it, as if it says: "Can I have a word with you for a moment?". With a quiet, calm and collected manner, almost intimate tone of request. To be honest - I don't really see a reason to own both. They feel like they were made for different people almost. The extrovert and the introvert. Personally I still love SWY Oud a bit more than this new flanker, but with SWY Oud being relegated to more winter type days, I find SWY Sandalwood more versatile and useable nearly all year round.

Stronger With You Sandalwood is a woody, spicy, and balsamic fragrance. Its opening echoes the DNA of the Stronger With You line, with the characteristic aroma of chestnut, slightly spicy, and a subtle hint of vanilla. After a few minutes, the sandalwood note begins to be noticed, but its transition to the foreground is somewhat slow, as the chestnut note is more prominent for a long time. However, after about two hours, the sandalwood note, along with some balsamic accords, become the protagonists until the end of its development. Sandalwood is a fragrance suitable for use in fall and winter, and on some cool spring days, from casual to formal wear, nights out, etc. Its longevity was very good for me, lasting about 10 hours, with a noticeable sillage between the first 2 and 3 hours, after which it recedes slightly. I like this fragrance more in its dry down phase than in its opening, when the sandalwood begins to stand out, the problem is that it takes a long time to reach that phase, also an advantage for my taste is that it does not have the sweetness that others in the line have, such as Intensely, although for those who enjoy those sweet versions, Sandalwood may be less attractive.

Maison Alhambra’s dupe of this, Your Touch Santal which isn’t on Fragrantica yet, is sooooo good. Practically a sandalwood solo-note with just enough chestnut to add some intrigue. They are 95% similar on a tester strip, so something to check out if you’re looking for a dupe. While I do invest in niche and indie perfumes, I don’t typically buy designer frags because I don’t find value in the typically low performance. Anyhow, strong creamy sandalwood that lasts forever and has noticeable but not heavy projection. It’s fairly linear, the cedar wood base gently appears about 4 hours in. The lavender and saffron are minimal, just enough to add a gentle glow. Same with the vanilla which adds creaminess but not sweetness. This will be my go-to when I’m craving just sandalwood - less sweet and more unisex than Kayali Wedding Silk Santal and less dry than DS&Durga Radio Bombay and much stronger and longer lasting than Tiki Tahiti Moorea Santal. 100% unisex. It’s a love for me.

The only good SWY, as all of them typically smell plasticky and unnatural. SWY Sandalwood pleasantly mixes that usually obnoxious Fisher-Price toy scent by blending it with this delicious, warm-smelling, soft chestnut. It smells like the inside of an oven after it was done baking some chestnut pastries. Since the sweetness is so underlying and easy on the nose, it actually allows that weird SWY DNA to flourish and meld with the scent rather than stick out like a sore thumb. Too bad the best SWY flanker is exclusive to one region of the world, so good luck getting your hands on it outside of said region. Zenith Santal is a pretty spot-on dupe for the most part, but if you can get your hands on this one somehow, I would say it's a great purchase. Also, since it's a sandalwood-oriented fragrance, be sure that's up your alley. It does smell exactly like a freshly carved and constructed wooden cabinet; if you don't like the sound of that, you will not like this at all.

Really special smell right here. The green bottle does it right, it definitely is a "green" type of fragrance. I heard people talking about it having a leather-ish smell in the beginning and I totally get that, but it is from the combination of the spicy saffron and the cedarwood. The sandalwood here might not seem like the "mascot", but it is the one note that gives the cursive creaminess of this fragrance. You can definitely feel the SWY DNA, that's offered by the chestnut note. It's not overpoweringly sweet like the rest of the line, Armani took a more mature take with this one. It has a niche-like feel to it, despite it being a designer fragrance. For me, the one note that is the most intense is the cedarwood, it literally takes me on a trip in a dark, rainy pine forest. Probably not blind buy safe, but I absolutely love the character and the uniqueness of this one.

I still remember the day I bought SWY Sandalwood. I was in class browsing fragrances on eBAy (side note - eBay has loads of scams so I recomend reaching out to the seller first and NEVER buying fragrances with stock photos) and I just had the urge to search it up. As I'm writing this I have no idea why I bought it - maybe I was just bored and wanted to gamble on something, but thank god I did! Got mine from a decent seller for about £150 which is about $200 for my american friends. Now for the smell, It opens and follows with a creamy middle easten sort of sandalwood which I'm in love with combined with saffron. Additionally, if you care a lot about compliments this is one to check out. Overall, an amazing fragrance for any guy out there looking to smell great and will probs remain as my signature scent for the next few years.

Owning every Stronger With You in the line except Leather and Oud (came to the party too late), this one is the best for me. It opens up with this lovely fresher and greener take on the DNA, and is the best opening for me by a lot! Right now, I can't find this in stock ANYWHERE, so I hope the complainers haven't caused Armani to discontinue this already. I'd be devastated if they have, and it would be a case of people not realising what's good until it's gone because I guarantee in 5-10 years from now, all those trashing on this fragrance will want it and have to pay 3-4-5 times more to get it! If you love the Stronger With You line but want a fresher take, this is a perfect option. If you haven't tried SWY before, this or the original is the easiest to get into before the stronger ones like Intensely or Tobacco.

Just picked up a new bottle of SWY sandalwood and easily my fave of the line. Opens with a harsh hit of saffron, honestly to the point of smelling like burning cigarettes. The smell you get when eneteribg a taxi drivers who’s been smoking all day in his cab. I know that might not s sound appealing but it has this nostalgic like quality to me which I love. That then dries down really quickly into a warm chestnut in the middle and finally finishing in a creamy sandalwood. The middle and base of this fragrance are 90%+ similar to JPG Scandal Absolu pour home, except scandal absolu opens with mirabelle. I love this fragrance, easily swy lines most unique. I don’t know if it’s a super safe blind buy just based on the first 15 minutes of the opening but it fires down beautifully 8/10

So I got my hands on a decant of this, and yeah this one screams SWY DNA, especially the middle eastern exclusive line. When I first sprayed this, it sounds weird but it smelled exactly like the opening on SWY Tobacco for the first couple of seconds that I almost thought they sent me the wrong decant, but it settles down quickly with a very green and woody scent that can almost pass as a summer/spring fragrance, actually this is only SWY flanker that I may choose to wear during summer. It is sweet but not "Intensely" sweet and I don't find it cloying at all even if I overspray. Also to me, the dry-down reminded me somehow of Le Beau Le Parfum. This is my favorite out of the exclusive line so far and top 3 for me after Absolutely & Intensely, 8.5/10.

Blind bought this and very glad I did. Probably the only SWY that I'll own. A very easy to love cedar and Sandalwood fragrance. I may want a back up bottle. 10/13/2025 update Such an enjoyable fragrance. I don't own any Azarro Wanted line, or SWY, I feel like they are all pretty close and plenty of other sweet fragrances out there that can compete in the same space. So glad I have waited to pull the trigger on an SWY Sandalwood, because this is exactly what I wanted. I love all of these kinds of fragrances in general, so eliminating redundancy is a slight goal. I may get Azzaro Elixir from the Wanted line. Looking very forward to wearing this a lot in the cooler seasons. Total blind buy win.

This might be the best one out of the Exclusive Editions that I own. This is by far the most grown up version that exists, as this is very woody, and not very sweet. It does have some sweetness, but it's dialed way down. I was reluctant to pick up this flanker because I have all the others, with the exception of Amber, which I have a 10ml decant of, and thought it was weak. This one though, is really good, and it is probably my second favorite behind the Tobacco flanker. I would say this could be a nice Spring/Fall/Winter office signature scent if you don't go wild on the trigger. Longevity and Sillage are very good, and you'll have nice scent bubble around you all day. 8 out of 10.

the sandalwood note in here is real and clear. it's a classy fragrance indeed, with lovely sweet, powdery, and woody identity. it's still recognizable as part of the SWY lineage, yet it feels genetically re-engineered so that saffron and sandalwood dominate, shifting it from aromatic fougere into oriental woody. the final impression does "intensely or powerfully" recall "Tom Ford Noir Extreme (black bottle)", which i have always prized for its beautiful powdery character and seductive whiffs of makeup. roughly, to my nose this one is 80% identical, and equally sensational with its lovely powderiness and lipsticky nuance.

As much as my wife and I are loving this one. I wouldn't get caught up in trying to get it because it seems rare. I dont think overhyped is the word, but I do think these fragrance houses know what they're doing when they pull this kind of marketing ploy. Then again, if they discontinue this (unlikely) you missed a good one, but definitely not worth going to Ebay or aftermarket shenanigans. Probably the only SWY I'll ever own, and I am very happy with it. Now that Intensely, Absolutely, and Parfum are in Sephora, you can definitely get an idea of where this one is in the line. Less sweet and creamy Sandalwood.

I have SWY, Intensely, Absoloutely and Parfum and the only one extra I could've gotten my hands on was this Sandalwood so I blind bought it... I'm from Bulgaria and after I heard that this is UAE exclusive I thought myself I have to buy it when it's still available to not cry after LOL Received it today and I have no regrets :) This one is less stronger than the others in terms of power, projection, sillage etc. IMO Maybe it needs to stay for a while to macerate and unleash it's cappabilities ?!?! Yes it has the same DNA as the other flankers that I have but appears more freshy to me than the others...

Rating: 4.5/5 Saffron opens with a bittersweet warmth that immediately sets a different tone from the rest of the SWY lineup. No big candy sweetness here — just lavender, chestnut, and a genuinely velvety sandalwood base that sits close to skin and lasts 8-10 hours easily. More refined than Intensely, less powdery than Absolutely. Projection is moderate which is my only real gripe — this deserves more reach than it gets. Discontinued UAE exclusive that never made it to the West officially. I run Scent Syndicate (scentsyndicate.com) and we carry authentic stock for anyone hunting it down.

Pros: Nice vanilla-sweet, woody, thick smell; the bottle looks so good on my shelf; easily the best-looking bottle I have. Its performance is great, but its silage is not as good as SWY intenselys. Cons: A little too expensive; opening smell is also not that great especially for the price. Middle notes are great however, but by the last few hours it smells identical to intensely. Not much reason to get this and not intensely. Edit: i actually like this more than intensely now loooool. too bad its limited edition so i will never use it very often.

Amazingly strong and pure sandalwood, Somebody at Armani clearly just wanted to make an ultra pungent pure sandalwood fragrance but was told it had to somehow go in the Stronger With You line--and they did exactly that. While this fragrance bears the name of the line it doesn't really smell anything like the rest of the flankers in said line. No, this is a pure straight up sandalwood bomb, and very little else. But that's what makes it so good in my opinion.

Even though I’ve never had an opportunity to test Oud and Leather from this line, from all the rest this is my favourite. Not that sweet, smoother, creamy and overall the composition seems to be better blended. I’m getting Pasha de Cartier Parfum vibes, similar sandalwood note used here for sure. I actually likes this one more than Pasha. Overall very nice fall/winter fragrance with great performance and finally a SWY fragrance I will be wearing.

Its opening is strong and spicy, but the dry down becomes this amazing creamy but still sweet vanilla and soft wood scent. I kept getting wafts throughout the day so thats good, i didnt get nose blind, maybe thats because i dont wear or have many vanilla fragrances. This is my first stronger with you, i tried intensely and others but they felt more generic, this one feels like it has more than 2 notes and just smells really good.

I sampled Stronger With You Sandalwood at Sephora yesterday, and it's definitely a refined take on the original SWY DNA. The prominent sandalwood note gives it a unique, almost Eastern-inspired depth. Its lack of citrus makes it ideal for cooler weather and evening wear. While I'm leaning towards a purchase, I'll need another test to add it to.my collection . It's definitely worth checking out

Best SWY, I mean the best by miles and it’s not close. The toned down sweetness helps emphasize the creaminess and nuttiness of the sandalwood and chestnut. Super woody take on stronger with you DNA, the wood here is very natural smelling When you think of fragrances like swy absolutely you think of warm creamy ingredients, like a sweet vanilla, chestnut, ambery smell. Think of this as a “dry” version of that. It still holds onto those aspects, but also adds in this very dry woody accord

Tried this today and for the first 10 minutes it smells like the usual SWY fragrance. After this the Sandalwood starts projecting in a subtle way. It’s not overpowering. On the dry down a very woody fragrance as expected. I will get a bottle but not at full retail. I would wear this autumn/fall and winter and early Spring. 7.5/10

The best out of the whole line! SWY Intensely is really overhyped and I prefered Absolutely until I bought this out of couriostiy. This blew me away and gets me lots of comliments. One of my favourites for winter daily use, so elegant and profined yet somehow bright and uplifting. Got it for 70 euros, absolute banker!

I don't really give any attention to those who think this is trash. In my opinion this one of the best stronger with you in its series. Once i got my nose on this, i knew this was the one to buy. I do really recommend this if you're looking for a stronger with you fragrance.

Still keeps the original DNA of SWY line, but most of the "basic" notes are toned down. U can still feel some lavender and vanilla and for some reason I get a tiny hunch of chestnut. Most of the fragrance is a beautiful (somewhat powdery) woody sandalwood note.

This is the first time i bought a sweet fragrance. Very unique balsamic and vanilla mix. Definitely unisex. Very longlasting. First 30 minutes can be overwhelming. On my first day I sprayed 5 times and at first people were coughing, then I received compliments

Wow this is the best smelling from the line no joke, it’s so sexy, just amazing and the performance was pretty good too. The swy line has become way too overused so if you dont wanna smell like everyone else but still enjoy it then definitely get this one.

I imagine this will end up getting re-released, at least for another limited run. It’s an absolutely incredible creamy lavender barbershop profile with a modern warm sweetness running through it. Fantastic daily wear and such an easy reach.

Out of the line of SWY fragrances, this is along with SWY Tobacco is my favourite. Keeps it's identity, but brings a nice woody but less sweet scent profile, that imo could be worn all season (cool Summer nights Only)

Wow! This is a surprisingly good sandalwood fragrance. Frankly, I was prepared to be disappointed. This is what I wanted Atelier's Santal Carmin to be. Loving this fragrance. The best of the SWY lineup, by far.

I like this. Bought my bottle a few days ago here in Doha, Qatar. It's a greener/fresher take with the SWY DNA. Reminds me a lot of the Amber edition but smoother and more wearable.

This amalgam of sandalwood and SWY DNA is fantastic. A more mature take on the OG. Thought it might be too sweet based on other reviews, but it's actually very well balanced.

Smells good, but the dry down is soo woody. Also I discovered: 1 Spray Avon Gentelman absolute + 1 Spray Your touch Amber maison alhambra = 95% identical to SWY sandalwood .

one of the best non private line creations of armani it opens up with a sweet and woody saffron and dries down into a beautiful chocolatey vanilla chestnut 10/10 hands down

Very nice and pleasant sandlewood fragrance with the hint of that SWY DNA, prob the best in that line up very. Very overpriced tho 50mil for 200$ is just absurd

Jazz Club-y but smoother, not dry like JC, and more nicely balanced. Layering this with Tumi Continuum should be outstanding.
