Figuier Eden

Worth every penny. I’m not a fig obsessive, but I own both this and Acqua di Parma’s Fico di Amalfi, and love them both. It is unmistakably similar to Fico di Amalfi, but there are some important differences. I won’t bother trying to assess which one is “better”, (again, I love them both) but Figuier Eden is certainly more sophisticated, complex, and office-friendly. It’s less juicy than Fico, and it doesn’t have that big apricot note in it either, but it’s more green (although, not too green), somewhat spicy, and almost aquatic without smelling like a freshie. Because of an excellent blending of notes, Figuier Eden smells both care-free and opulent - it’s flexible enough to be casual *and* elegant. The bergamot, pepper, and fig are all clearly present from the moment Figuier is sprayed, and like all of the other Privé eaux I own, Figuier Eden projects well and has stunning longevity for an EDT (as do the AdP Blu Mediterraneo line, if we’re continuing the comparison). As many other reviewers have pointed out, the fig in this fragrance is designed with harmony in mind, despite maintaining the feature role its namesake denotes. I’m not sure I’ve encountered that before, and I really like it (I’ve never tried Philosykos or Noble Fig). I haven’t found the iris in Figuier yet, but I do get the slight bitterness of tea, and the amber lays a nice foundation for all of the other notes without overpowering them and turning this into an amber-forward scent. To my nose, the real payoff comes after an hour or so, when a perfectly ripe (and not overpowering) orange rind comes forward to round out the overall scent and to help it gently radiate. The orange note comes on beautifully without crowding out or taking away any of the other notes, and although I’m neither a chemist nor an expert on fragrances, I can imagine that this is not an easy feat to accomplish, and it’s impressive. I see Figuier Eden as perfectly unisex and seasonally versatile. It can work comfortably for every season, although it would be a less-than-obvious choice for winter. I think this is a fantastic scent that is clearly worthy of all the high marks it receives.

"Figuier Eden" opens with a scent which is full of opportunity and optimism. Bergamot, mandarin and pink pepper imbue a sweet citrus blending with a faint hint of piquant spice. A strong scent of luscious fig comes rushing forth soon after. It is a pulpy, juicy, and succulent with a honeyed sweetness. Faint nuances of milky coconut facets are noticeable, evoking the creamy sap from the fig tree's stems. A verdant green quality dances in and out of focus via notes of green tea and fresh grass which to me perfectly capture the serpiginous bordered fig leaf. Beautiful Moroccan iris with its grey and powdery tonalities help to balance out the fruity sweetness of the fig. Its addition was masterful to me as without it I feel the fragrance would have fallen into the realm of too sickly sweet for most. The base is composed of amber and woods. Overall the scent seems well fitted to the summer months, but I could see the scent also being worn in spring and autumn. Slightly more feminine than masculine due to the fruity, sweet notes of the fig, however it can easily be worn by either sex. As with the rest of the Armani / Privé "Les Eaux" collection, sillage and projection are moderate to light while longevity seems to be somewhat above average. At least to my nose, Figuier Eden absolutely lives up to its ambitious name: it's fig-scented heaven in a bottle. Fig is my favourite note and I've tried and loved many quite diverse interpretations of it over the last few years, but this one must be among the very best. It's very high quality, very smooth - there's really nothing sharp about it at all, not a single moment when a note or accord seems out of place. The first few times I tried it, the combination of fig, tea and pink pepper reminded me of Bvlgari's Eau Parfumée Au Thé Rouge, which I also love, but that resemblance is there only very briefly in the early heart. Thé rouge is dryer and spicier with its red tea, and a lot less smooth than this one. Here, the the fig itself is more prominent, with its sweetness wonderfully enhanced and balanced by the green notes. The pink pepper is noticeable, but it doesn't jump out to make the scent spicy at all, it just adds a bit of depth, making the whole thing even more addictive. The only slight negative is that it doesn't project very well on my skin, but that can be remedied with a couple of extra sprays, and it does last all day. My wishlist is already overburdened, but I'm moving Figuier Eden directly to the top of it...I'm looking forward to spending the warmer months with it.

I will emphasize "On my skin..." because I am reading the reviews and don't understand whether we smelled the same fragrance. - on my skin there is no green grass nor tea (or a teeny tiny bit) - and it is not soft, fresh, fruity garden. But instead it is very sexy- in a shameless way, bodily, long lasting, spicy Madame Fig. Fig that is interpreted in a way Mugler did his Womanity, minus the salt and plus musk or ambergris. I was sure there was tons of ambergris, later I saw it is amber. Nonetheless, this amber is one hell of an amber. Here is the description from the official site: "Opening with vibrant top notes of citrus zest and pink pepper, Figuier Eden expresses a velvety green fig accord that softens into powdery Moroccan Iris notes punctuated by spicy mineral accents, finishing with warm notes of wood and amber." => I sense some citrus in the opening, pink peper, Fig, iris, spice (a lot), wood, amber. How that green grass and tea came here, don't know. Anyways, the notes are not important. What is important is how this juice behaves on my skin, how naughty, unique and brilliant it is. Instant love. High on my Wish list <3

I don't know what it is about me a fig based scents but we seem to be drawn to each other like some sort of fatal attraction. Strange really despite the usual feminine association. Interesting that the review below compares this to Fico di amalfi and naturally who wouldn't make the connection. However as somebody who has the ADP and loves it I must admit Figuier Eden is better. Not that I see this as 'high end' compared to the Fico in truth most of the Armani Prive line are pretty lackluster for the price. The opening of this scent is really good, fresh, juicy and bursting out of the bottle, with the addition of iris which to me really makes the fig pop! Fico is a little watery and subdued in comparison, to me more suited to summer, where as I see the Armani as being a little more versatile. The drydown of Figuier is more powdery and you definitely get the iris contributing to a longer lasting scent on the skin. The verdict is good...very good if you like figs you could do a lot worse than this but arguably better too.

I am a perfume enthousiast with currently 25 bottles. 183cm/6foot muscular. My nose is not trained to identify notes but what I love is oud, encens, leather and sandalwood. Dark, rough, on your face. From the same collection I have oud royal and I love it so much that I had to put my nose on every other scent of the collection. This is so against my usual tastes but when I smelled this for the first time, the time stopped. I am so in love with it. On my skin the pink pepper projects a lot, giving a nice spicy body to the sweetness of the fig. I get so many compliments when I wear this. It draws people in, they get a whiff, and come closer to burry their nose in my neck... It isn't a power house fragrance, it is light and summery, so I don't expect it to last 8 hours. I get 4 hours with it but it doesn't bother me. Get a refillable pocket spray to reapply. Worth every euro! Heaven in a bottle..

Fig done right! If you ever smelled Noble Fig by Ferrari, you could say this is the luxury version done to perfection. I am not a big fan of fig but this is blended so well and just smells so expensive that I could not resist. Fig note is a synthetic one, so the challenge is always to make it strong enough to last and yet not too strong to avoid getting cloying. This does just that! Good projection and longevity for EDT. Fig and Iris play major roles in this one. There are green notes on the background (but not tart, bitter fig leave green like in Phylosykos), very smooth and most likable out of all fig fragrances I know. Overall very safe choice for summer scent, unisex, can dress it up and down. The fig note here is very refined and exquisite, so if you don't like fig frags, still give this one a try: most likely, like me, you'll end up buying it :)

Beautiful fig based scent! Really!!! The blend is out of this world! I have had them all and this one is the most versatile, best performing and wearable yet complex. Love the accompanying green notes here (tea and aromatic leaves), love the combination of fig and iris (that pair will remind you of the Ferrari's Noble Fig a bit). Great use of pink pepper in the opening, not to spicy but gives it a little more aromatic qualities. This smells classy, expensive and can be worn day/night, business/casual, year round (though winter is not the best season for it, I guess). Overall, this is the best there is. Try it and give it a few wearings, the devil in in details here!!! If you find Fico de Amalfi too casual and a bit simplistic, Philosykos a bit too artistic and not performing well, this is your bet!!!

A powdery fresh green fig. Probably the best fig scent on the market (over Gris Charnel & Fico di Amalfi). It’s so heavenly as the name suggests. Ingredients are well integrated, none stand out too much. It’s a really impressive smell for how good it is ! I’m a male and it’s one of my favorite perfume I ever smelled. 10/10 Btw, I'm sorry for tr_bg but i don't think it's discontinued. It's written "final sale" on Armani's US website, but also for every Les Eaux perfumes, including for Iris Bleu which is only 6 month old as for now. Thus Figuier is available everywhere in Europe.

It is a beautiful perfume but too light and fleeting. I've tried moisturising my skin, spraying on clothes, hair etc... Doesn't work. Trying layering with JHAG Not a Perfume and also Criminal elements blackwater thistle but they just overpower this. My clothes smell like creamy sandalwood. Hair smells like green freshness and sandalwood. The fig is always there but it's not an in your face fruity presence. If this was an extrait, I would highly recommend. I will finish this one very quickly. Will probably get Gris charnel after that.

To me, gris charnel is a cozy, almost melancholic fig fragrance, and I picture rainy days when I smell this. It is creamy and warm, and it gives a 'cool girl' aura when I see girls wearing it. But Figuier eden is the opposite--it's a sophisticated, uplifting fig scent, it is happy and serene. its not as sparkling as un jardin en mediteranee, its calmer and as the person below put it, more 'muted'. Yes it is not complex and quite linear, but it is a high quality, very smooth and exceptional fragrance.

I love fig base fragrances and I have quite a few of them. This one is cery similar to Ferrari Noble Fig with much better longevity and overal better performance. Quite nice, dry fig leaf note wirh a slightly sweet undertone and woody base. It’s linear scent but lasts forever on my skin. (That’s very rare). I sprayed it on to my hand around 18:00 PM, now it is 15:00 PM and I can still smell it easily. I washed my hands several times in the mean time. It’s a suprisingly great performer on my skin.

The comparisons are true... Smells almost exactly like my beloved Ferrari Noble Fig. Which means it smells amazing. Citrus opening with fig and green. I could swear this has clary sage even though it isn't listed. I do think Figuier Eden has more longevity and projection, which is interesting given these are both EDT. However, given that Noble Fig is currently under 1/4 the price of this, I'll go with the Noble Fig.

This is simply amazing. Fig is hard to do well, but Armani has nailed it. The scent is masterfully blended, hyper-realistically reminiscent of when I was a child, I smelt the green, woody, creaminess from a fig freshly plucked, the ends of the stems spurting white sap. Fico Di Amalfi comes close but it's not as "freshly picked" or vivid or earthy. Philosykos is too dewy and a bit acidic. Armani Prive's is the best.

Pink Pepper= Odor profile: Although technically a pepper berry, it doesn't smell spicy, but rosy. A very popular modern accent piece in fragrances that provides a contemporary rosy note without veering into powdery or retro. Mollifies woodies and synthetic ambers and is featured often in fruity florals. ~Fragrantica~ Pink Pepper is not spicy.....

I love this, it's a gorgeous green fig. Beautiful. Fresh and gentle, lovely and sweet - it's such a realistic fig. And the green grass and tea are so calming and soothing, and refreshing. It's really gorgeous. And it lasts well on me - 10 hours.....more actually, and I get lots of compliments too, especially from men. I love it! It's so feminine!

Creamy, fresh, uplifting bouquet in the top with notes of fig and bergamot. The fig note persists throughout the progression of this scent, supported by iris and amber gently in the dry down. It is a comfort scent.... perfect for when one is in the mood to mull on life, or just soaking up the sun's rays on a cool spring morning. Perfectly unisex!

Lately I've found myself straying away from fig accords, but Figuier Eden is still one of my favorite fig fragrances around. It's so light and airy. My main qualm with fig is I find it sometimes to be very astringent, but I don't get that here. There's something so comforting occurring here. So clean and calming. Def worth a sniff.

I looooved this when it first went on. Fresh and bright fig. As it dries down it becomes a softer, more delicate fig. It's beautiful, but it feels like a less complex Debaser by D.S. & Durga. That being said, this is perhaps a bit fresher and not so heady, and therefore more accessible. Beautiful for a summer scent in particular.

Just a normal day in Eden. Everyone is minding their own business. The fig tree is thriving, the grass is warm, even the snake has decided to take the day off. Loved the scent, it's not too sweet and milky like other fig fragrance. Worn to interview and got the offer. So sad that it's discontinued.

This is a beautiful fragrance as are many of the Prive range but you know what? I wish Armani would just put this kind of effort into the main fragrance line instead of churning out a parade of soulless flankers of Code and Acqua di Gioia. This actually beats Fico di Amalfi in my humble opinion.

Absolutely Gorgeous. The fig is somewhat bitter but the touch powdery vibe from the iris helps carry it through so smoothly. It has a very nice leafy and green feel to it. I still find philosykos to be more "leafy" smelling but I have and enjoy them both. Two thumbs way up from me for Fig Eden!

I’m in LOVE with this fragrance. It so yummy , fresh, fruity, herbal, cozy and sweet at the same time. It is a happy scent. It projects so well and lasts forever on my skin. I see myself wearing this every season, bc it can be easily a signature scent.

I came to smell the Yulong, ended up loving this too it. I want both. Pretty pricey, but if I can splurge on Philosykos, I’m sure I can save up for them. By the way, this is a very feminine scent to my nose. Super green, fresh, and summery.

Throughout the years this became my favorite fragrance. I found out it's discontinued recently so I have four bottles now, should be enough. Hopefully it comes back at some point as an edp or extrait. Huge compliment magnet, I am male btw.

Sweet and green, Figuier Eden cuts through heat and humidity like a knife through butter. This is the perfume equivalent of gulping down a big glass of citrus and fig infused iced tea after cutting the grass on a sweltering Sunday.

Amazing fragrance for spring and summer. The juicy fig blends perfectly with a subtle iris note which gives it a more elegant tone than the usual playful fruit. If you like fig fragrances you should definitely check this one out!

Even though it’s a bit linear and one dimensional I find it very enjoyable and smooth for a relaxing summer day,it’s a perfect wear for going the beach. A bit like VIW without the sour green lime.

I really like this. It's fruity and green, but not too sharp. It's got just enough sweetness and depth to make it nicely balanced. It isn't challenging, so it's suitable to wear anywhere.

I found this super cheap fig edc in Marshall’s about 6/12 months ago called salted green fig, and it smells similar to this. Very, sweet. Armani is nice but not *holy grail* for me.

just tried in Rinascente Milano, very nice, it reminds me to Acqua di Parma Blu Mediterraneo Fico di Amalfi, my favourite fragrance, even if a little bit more complex an less fresh.

I have already Armani Prive Ambre Soie and love it. Now this one's must have 4 me, sounds interesting and absolutely love the bottle.

Classy and delicate fig scent . Definitely towards green with a hint of amber and violet . Summer will be the best to wear it 😻

One of the best fragrances i' ve ever smelled (together with Vetiver Babylone). It transforms to a 'crazy' drydown. Must smell!

A nice fig scent. One of the most wearable fragrances from the Prive line. For some reasons reminds me of Chloé Cedrus.

Figuier Eden to me is magical, pure and heavenly! The SA at the Armani counter was wearing this when she guided me around, and I simply couldn't stop sniffing her. On her this fragrance was ultra feminine and light, and after a few more times of sampling it, I knew it had to be mine. Wearing this scent makes me feel like I'm wandering through the Garden of Eden, which means that Armani did a great job as that was the intention with this frag. My God! I haven't smelt anything quite like this before. It's a bit expensive (compared to others) but I think it's totally worth it for a scent of this quality. I am so lucky to have it in my collection. I'll wear it anytime all year, but I instantly think of Summer or Spring in flowy dresses and romantic evenings. It lasts ALL day on my skin too! Beautiful! PS! I made 3 of my friends smell this on me yesterday and they all loved it! One of them thought it was Diptyque by Philosykos, but that's not available in Norway so I have not been able to test to compare. UPDATE: Figuier Eden is similar to Philosykos, but without the coconut creamyness, and FE has more of a green, fresh fig feel to it imo. I can see Figuier Eden being worn by both women and men, but I since my first encounter with it was smelling it on a beautiful female SA, I guess it has influenced my impression of it being more on the feminine side. Worth to try out if you're into airy, green and beautifully soft scents that will stick with you the whole day!

Sadly, this follows the trend of 'signature-worthy fig perfumes are hard to find'! Most fig perfumes suffer either from minimal performance, or they've got so much other stuff chucked in there that they're basically not fig anymore. This one is the former. Good (and interesting) scent, weak performance. Almost immediately becomes a skin scent (at least in summer weather, but...you wouldn't walk around smelling like a fig tree at Christmas, would you?). Lasts a few hours at this skin-scent level. The scent itself is greener and more naturalistic than most fig perfumes. It's quite similar to Philosykos, but less 'creamy' and more...dry-smelling. If Philosykos is the fig tree after the rain, FE is the fig tree smack down in the middle of scorching Mediterranean summer - intensely green but dry, the air around it almost shimmering from the heat. It's so green it almost flirts with herbal here and there. Overall I wouldn't buy - especially for that price. So Pearl by Mancera is still the only TRULY good fig frag - as we were! (I don't count Womanity as it's basically not fig, spectacular as it is) EDIT: I can't believe people are voting 'YES' for Fico di Amalfi but 'NO' for Philosykos! It's exactly the other way around - it smells nothing like FDA and quite a bit like Philosykos' drier, even more bitter/green cousin.

This is a feminine and delicate fig. Fresh and soapy from the bergamot, and dewy and green from the fig and tea. This smells very exclusive, it’s calm and mellow, like quiet luxury. And just like that it is very addictive. At times I have considered selling my bottle, but every time I wear it again, I fall in love with just how effortless it is. A great springtime all-rounder. When it dries down it gets slightly sweeter and fruitier, but it’s still sparkly and balanced. No notes are taking more space than others even though the fig is the most prominent. I struggle a bit with the longevity on this one because it really changes with the weather. In colder weather it really disappears, but in warmer weather it penetrates my skin and stay with me as a close companion. In the AI-generated pros and cons you’ll see that the reviews are very contrasted on the topic of longevity. And I can understand why, based on my own experiences. I still find it to be sophisticated as stated, and neither too spicy nor too amber-y.

Figuier Eden is not a coconut-y fig fragrance, like you'd encounter in Marc Jacobs for man. It is not really a green fig like Diptyque Philosykos either. Figuier Eden is alluring, sexy and 100% unisex. The fragrance is well composed and is deliciously intriguing. It opens with an airy burst of figs and bamboo-ish note. As the fragrance mingles with the warmth and saltiness of skin, it gets more intense and smokey. I can almost smell incense, but not at all powdery or nose twitching. Finally it settles into the skin with a velvety iris wrapped around you. I absolutely love this new take on figs. Instead of making fig note front and centre, here it sings in harmony with spice and smells of the nature. I would recommend to anyone who loves fig scents or looking for a new summer perfume.

Figuer Eden is a lovely soft peppery green scent. I get a lot of the pepper to start off with and some woods. After a while I start to smell a bit of fig but it is not prominent on my skin say as Philosykos. The opening reminds me more of Diptyque's Eau de Lierre which I also love. The fig note seems dry and woody (very similar to Acqua d Parma's, Fico di Amalfi which I also love) but I love Figuer Eden as it is very refreshing and I am really enjoying collecting different variations of fig scents. Easily a unisex fragrance and I'm very happy to have this in my collection. Also, I have to say it did last a long time on my skin, I could still get some whiffs if it the following morning. This is a must try especially if you like fig perfumes!

This is a great "designer style" scent. Perfect for dressing up. Mostly i get a minty sweetness. A little peppery, almost sparkling. Sometimes i get sweet figs. Other times the fresh and sweet minty effect it creates. Performance is great, no complaints. The only thing i have with it is everytime i wear this, i do enjoy it but after a while i,ve got enough of it. It,s like making a commitment with this scent for a looong day because it just keeps going. I could not wear this everyday. But then, another day and occasion in the future is waiting, where i shall pick up this bottle and enjoy it again. Special occasion scent. Great scent

On skin it opened with a fig tea combo. Unfortunately it turned all to quickly to iris, a note I don’t altogether enjoy. On clothing it opened with sharp citrus which receded into soft tea scent. After a short while fig appeared with iris, hand in hand. Overall a not too bad fig scent. Soft but way too light to project. One really need to over spay this for realistic usage. The skin sample was gone under four hrs. Clothing still projecting after seven hours. And at twelve hrs it was still skin scent on my sleeves. This is totally the opposite of Philosykos which is too in your face with its greenness.

Off the bat reminds me of Floraiku AO, very similar strange and sweet fig but with a soothing herbal tea and grass and a slight powder from iris, it’s smooth, clean and airy leaving a trail wherever you go but struggle to enjoy it on myself and question the projection to it still, maybe I’m nose blind but I wish it was just a bit denser as it begins to feel very minimal after a while. Still really enjoyed this and am starting to grow on fig surprisingly close to be being bottle worthy, it’s simple but serene.

This is NOTHING like Fico Di Amalfi lol... This is a much softer, more elegant and completely different smell. FDA is poppy, pungent like toilet products (I own it, loved the smell in the shop but as I'm finding with all ADP frags, they tire very quickly and I keep wanting to sell them) Try this Armani fig - if you're like me, you'll remember it's uniqueness and keep coming back for another smell. Then you'll buy it. I don't wear it often as it's quite light but... it's a beautiful composition.

Figuier Eden - this has quickly become a huge like of mine. This could also be a signature scent. FE has all the facets of a stunning fig fragrance. First the opening is sparkling pepper and very green. It is incredibly smokey on my skin for the first few minutes. The tea and fig combination follow almost immediately after. It’s a milky fig with a beautifully delicate iris note. There is also a creamy sandalwood to this. This is like Gris Charnel’s younger and more fresher cousin

A light, green, aquatic, refreshing fig fragrance! Out of all the fig perfumes I've tried, Diptyque's Philosykos would be #1, Jo Malone Fig & Lotus #2, and this comes third. These are all on the green and pleasingly refreshing side. Philosykos is sweeter, as it captures more of the ripe fruit, green leaves, and creamy sap. Armani's fig is a bit more aquatic, and not as sweet (hence not as real). It's still very likely and wearable for spring/summer.
