Ikat Bleu

I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately it is merely nice. My first reaction is that Ikat blue is poorly blended - vanilla, pepper, wood, and incense are all clawing at each other to be the star of the show, making for one of the least cohesive scents I’ve tried in a while. This being said, the vanilla is truly one of the most luxurious smelling ones out there - Armani privé executes this note perfectly. While being odd, it’s in my opinion an easy wear for night festivities. It is sexy, and unisex. Worth a try.

On skin, vanilla mixed with slight peppery scent throughout. On clothing, bergamot made cameo appearance then incense with slight vanilla, pepper took over. Nothing really made this a worthwhile purchase at all. At least the Ikat Rouge was more interesting with the sweet woody dry down. Silage is about 2m radius initially but becomes skin scent all too soon. Both should be a night perfume since the notes wouldn’t survive the daily activities.

Blast of pink pepper that quickly settles into a powdery and smooth vanilla. Touches of incense and pepper lurk in the backdrop for the life of the fragrance that add an interesting edge. Would be a great seller if the price wasn't so prohibitive

I don’t get any bergamot or freshness. It is very woody vanilla. It is not sweet. I would describe it as an incense fragrance. It’s first smokey then vanillic. But overall it is weird and boring.

Heavily overpriced for what it is.

I really love this, I just wish they'd amped something up..like maybe amped up the vanilla or incense to give it oomph. I will probably still get it, but my favourite one from this line remains Bleu Turquoise, which has a similar vibe, they both contain the same kind of incense and vanilla, but that one is made special by a salty accord.

I really love prive line of the armani thay are so much better quality than .any niche brands. I hope this comes soon to try. I know this will come and 2 or 3 years layer the users of fragrantica says look that times other say "wish it come sooner" . How much time goes by fast.

Dear Armani, Kindly reintroduce the rare scent you created to the market, as we wish to purchase and savor it. who has this masterpiece? Send me a message and I will buy it. 10/10 no regret at all.

2 spray A. P. Bleu Turquose+1 Spray Lune Feline= Ikat Bleu, I like both of them, so I like this perfume too.

Dry incensey vanilla, smells nice but not very interesting for the price level.

I can't wait. I'm a huge fan on Armani prive. #ladylovesperfumes
