This is my most outrageous purchase to date, and I fully realize how insane it is to blindly buy $880 fragrance (after taxes and shipping from Harrods to US). But the quest of owning a limited edition Armani had to be completed. I adore Iris, and I love aldehydes - and this is a genuinely beautiful scent. Sheer, delicate, yet crisp, like the most exquisite silk organza held up to the light. For reason I can't quite explain, I suspect it will become even more beautiful in the bitter cold of January - there's something about its coolness that feels suited to frost rather than warmth. After wearing it for 12 hours, I have concluded that it needs a room to breathe, and is at its best outdoors - not because it's beast mode, not at all, but in a light breeze it casts the barest, most ethereal scent trail around you. Was it worth $880? Rationally, no. Emotionally, yes, 10/10, would do it again.

A very beautiful cool toned iris fragrance. I think it’s cool nature and use of high quality materials sets it apart from others in this category. The aldehydes are smooth and most present in the opening. The saffron adds an interesting texture to the fragrance that I personally enjoyed. The iris isn’t overly powdery and as a whole the fragrance is just a touch sweet, but mostly dry and cool and is very feminine leaning imo. Very clean and elegant smelling with a soft aura and moderate lasting power. It’s a great composed fragrance limited to only 2000 bottles but I didn’t see the need for it in my personal collection so I sold it to a friend whom I hope loves it.

A gauzy iris on a clean surface of milky musk .. the tinge of saffron and bergamot are very very softly appearing in the start but fade away by 10 minutes in , and the whole mix tends to be creamier as it sits down .. you can tell its made of high grade components but honestly nothing groundbreaking at all , just inoffensive , nice n light like smelling top of baby's head :) No perceived aldehyids here , they are extremely faint just slightly appear to support a clean facet , no strong resemblence

First impression: Armani joins the laundry detergent/ aldehydic floral musk and iris bandwagon. It’s undoubtedly an echo from Fleur de Peau, Musc K and Blanche chamber. Need side by side for nuances perhaps but for those who are already familiar with the genre, this would seem quite “done and dusted”. A good scent, just a little unnecessary especially with the “limited” trick and further increased price.

Oh my!!! I need to smell this. If the aldehydes are dialed in just right ....could be amazing! (It’s L.I. If anyone has gotten a chance to smell it please review...this line is WAAAYYY to $$$ for me to blind buy!) Please and thank you.
