Rose Milano

On the one hand, the rose here is fresh, sweet, pink, and dainty, while on the other hand it's also green and subtly earthy. Like Princess Aurora on a solitary walk, delicate and lovely and perfectly at ease in the shadowy woods alone. If you're looking for a pretty, classy rose fragrance that's suitable for all ages and most occasions, then this is a definite must-try. It's all of those things par excellence. Not a stunner IMO, but it has a nonconfrontational, polite loveliness to it. English Pear & Freesia is similar, but more honied and less crisp. La Colle Noir leans slightly more warm and syrupy, less fresh and breezy. Meanwhile, Gris Dior is a lot more earthy and tangy to me, and the rose is a lot less forward in the mix than it is here.

Super juicy rose. I don't find it light and delicate like others find it. To me it's quite bright and punchy and attention grabbing, while still being smooth and sweet. It's a little heady and rich from the jasmine. I find it a very feminine and a classically beautiful fruity floral scent. It reminds me a lot of the early to mid 00s when many perfumes were this type of sweet fruity floral. You could have had me blind sniff this and tell me it was a Juicy Couture or celebrity perfume and I would have believed you and also been impressed by the quality. I don't detect any patchouli which is unfortunate as I love patch. Overall it's gorgeous but just a little too sweet for me to say I love it/would buy it, but it's definitely worth sampling if you like fruity rose fragrances.

Very delicate. Not for the femme fatales out there, unless they are trying to go incognito. Starts with a lemony light pink rose. The dry down remains similar but less lemon, more rose. It seems a little peppery as well, though that note isn’t listed. This keeps it from being completely bland. I detect absolutely no patchouli . A little bit of moss anchors it so it doesn’t completely float away, but after about 3-4 hours it does and it’s gone. Very pretty, inoffensive and light. Perfect for any situation where a heavier perfume wouldn’t suit. To my nose leans feminine but I think this would be very sexy on a man.

Opens up with a fresh Bulgarian rose which i find nauseating, but then subtly transforms into a more creamier rose that is actually nice and bearable. Pretty linear afterwards. Nice to wear, easy, feminine and quite shy. It’s gone in 1-2h, but i can still sense it for half a second when the wind blows into my hair or when i do some moves. I think it is the ultimate office scent ☺️ I find it similar to pretty much every rosy perfume out there, but it most reminds me of Guccy Guilty intense. Worth the money? Not really. Nice to have? Yes.

Rosa Milano is a wonderful fresh rosy scent on a weak classic chypre base. Although it's pretty, it's just not strong enough to warrant the price. Of course, if chypre notes don't work on your skin, then maybe you'd think this is a strong perfume. However, chypre scents tend to disappear into my skin and radiate a soft, gentle and sweet glow. Hopefully my review will help those of you who know what base notes work well on your skin.

It’s a very pleasant scent that’s not going to offend anyone. Opens up with a nice pear smell, not an overly sweet pear but a light and juicy pear. It then quickly dries down into a nice powdery rose scent. I do get hints of jasmine, but the rose is more dominant. I imagine a young female wearing this on her holiday in Europe. This is one of those scent that’s not groundbreaking, but just nice. Overall: 7,6/10

This is a very nice and pleasant, inoffensive and non-unique rose perfume. I picked up a sample primarily for the pear notes, but I am not feeling it strongly. It remind me of more generic rose perfumes, like the one by Diptyque and the one by Tom Ford (called Rose Prick). I decided not to buy the Armani release, as I already have a sizeable rose collection with similar impressions.

Very soft and gentle rose mixed with greeness of pear, oakmoss and patchouli, sort of in between A la rose and Rose of No Man Land. Mine is Soie de Nacre version but from my previous experience, the nacre did nothing to change the scent.

This is the rose perfume I've been looking for. I had a very similar perfume when I was much younger but can't remember the name. This isn't unique by any means, but still very lovely. Fresh rose, very feminine and pleasant.

The silage on this is so incredible. I personally really enjoy this fragrance. It smells very natural, flowery, fresh, almost grounded. I’d recommend giving this a try, and I’m definitely thinking about purchasing this one

I really wanted to love it because anything rose and patchouli usually has my attention. But it’s just not....giving lol it smells very generic. I don’t pick up any patchouli. For me it lacks depth. Someone commented that it reminds them of 00’s perfumes and I couldn’t agree more. For being a prive collection scent I am disappointed. I’d think this was a Brittney spears or Paris Hilton scent(no offense because I love Brittney and Paris lol) but for a prive I’m going to pass. It’s not horrible, just not good..... for me lol.

I tried the tester and got addicted to it. Kept spraying it every visit however when I finally bought this I was disappointed, clearly not the same one. Anyone who wants this can message me and I’m happy to sell this. UK area only.

powdery sweet rose opening dries down to a chinese medicine-like smell. maybe it’s just my skin but sillage and longevity all meh...

Initially, Rose watery... soapy in the dry down. Smells clean and versatile... tame and weak performance

Dry powdery very light rose scent. Pleasant and unoffensive but not worth the price tag imo.

This was a recent blind purchase and I must say that's it's turned out to be a pleasant surprise! I tried the Rose Alexandrie which didn't go well on me at all so i was quite apprehensive about this one. it starts out a bit metallic on me, most rose fragrances start out like that on me. but it turns into a soft floral after a few minutes. it's powdery rose, very soft, doesn't get too fruity, which i like. doesn't project much, but i do get whiffs throughout the day. others can't smell it on me unless they come very close. I do have to touch it up mid day, it's not really necessary but i prefer to. i do have to spray quite a lot to make it strong.wish it would project more. overall it's very pleasant, feminine, wearable, romantic, inoffensive rose fragrance. can be used everyday, great for work. more of a day time fragrance.

It's a NO for me! So this is a true rose, I can say that. Not too much going on, not too sweet or too tampered with, and as rose is my favorite note in fragrance - that's exactly why I chose to purchase this...w/o sampling. As a consumer, this well-priced fragrance is so barely there, or light as some may call it, that it left me humbled. I know EDTs are by definition lighter than EDPs, but this particular EDT is both: "lighter" and(+) pricier than others I'm used to equaling(=) a humbling experience for me. I suggest trying a sample before purchasing a full bottle.

Sniffing a rose after rain... Calm, collected, expensive. Very sophisticated high-end, refined and authentic rose paired with soft pear without sliding into the gourmand category. Powdery, but fresh with a contemporary modern twist - no vintage vibes. Like delicate silk rather than heavy velvet. I don't get a whole lot of citrus, because the top notes are fleeting and won't stay around for long. It's airy and dainty, but also grounded due to the moss and patchouli at the base. It doesn't project, it stays polished and intimate, bur longevity is decent.

this is my second season with this fragrance and i have to say that I still love it. it's a simple, cool, green, powdery rose. very elegantly done. for someone who's shy, doesn't like loud, beast-mode fragrances, but something that's elegant, green, powdery, feminine and simply lovely! the pears adds some juiciness and dimension but doesn't turn it into a super fruity sweet perfume but just adds some depth. very modern, well blended fragrance. not sure why this isn't getting much talked about!

If y you like rose oud scents,but find them a little heavy for warm weather, this is for you. It's a lighter rose oud. I sampled a few lighter rose citrus scents,but they were just too light airy and just needed a little something, was going to add Molecules 01,but found this, I really don't enjoy layering scts,so this is already there.

Rose Milano, by Armani, from the Armani/Privé line, smells like a beautiful and delicate fresh rose. The princess of the garden, the centered rose, is accompanied by breezes of jasmine, pear and bergamot, which are there only to emphasize the freshness of the rose.

This is the perfect choice if you want something elegant, feminine, soft but memorable at the same time. It smells classy and expensive. A beautiful rose scent, smooth and clean, not overly sweet. A shame that it is so expensive =/

i cant say i’m a fan. i typically love rose scents but this just.. doesn’t smell like rose? it reeks of coffee and patchouli. wish it was more rosy cause patchouli and rose are so beautiful together
