Si Eau de Parfum Intense

I just love this one. In a collection of almost 400 different scents, I've worn this one non-stop since I got it four days ago, and that's saying a lot. It just hits that fragrance sweet spot for me, as something I can put on anytime without needing to be "in the mood" to wear it. And as someone who was never a big fan of the OG, this was a pleasant surprise for me. The original was overpowering to my nose, and what others perceived as jammy or even boozy, came across as spoiled fruit to me. This one is much so much better. Although I do get that strong black current opening that can smell a bit like cat piss with this one, it settles very quickly into a lovely fruity/soft rose/vanilla scent that I just love. It's sweet, but not cloying. I do detect the tea note in this one which I think is what freshens it up slightly in a way that I really like. It projects exactly as I want my scents to do: people around me can smell it, but it doesn't fill an entire room to that point that I worry others will be bothered by it. And I can wear it in a car with other people without fear that I'm choking everybody else out. On my skin, this one lasts. I applied it after I showered last night, and this morning when I got out of bed I could still smell it. I can definitely smell it throughout the entire day during waking hours, but it's not so strong that it keeps me from sleeping if I wear it to bed. Is it ground-breaking? I don't think so. But since I wear scent primarily for my own enjoyment, I don't really care about that. I just want something that lifts my mood when I catch a whiff, and this definitely checks that box. I was so sad when Armani discontinued the Si Fiori flanker. Now I think I've found my new Si.

This is beautiful...The last time I tried Si Intense was maybe 7-8 years ago (black bottle) and I didn’t like it, the drydown was headache inducing, there was a sharp/scratchy note in it I couldn’t handle, it must be the woodsiness I didn’t like. I’ve never tried the 2nd formulation. This most recent reformulation seems much smoother than the old version but not lacking in intensity. Very sexy, elegant, and deeply feminine. It’s a sophisticated vanilla, and the blackcurrant opening is juicy, almost boozy, and just delicious. It’s very sweet certainly, but the sweetness is a mature, wine-like, rosy vanilla. The black tea note gives the scent a bitter-sweet freshness, and the rose here smells like the dark red kind you find in Middle Eastern fragrances but softer...the drydown reminds me of Mancera’s Roses Vanilla (which I’m not really a fan of), but here it’s more refined and romantic. It can get syrupy, so best not to overspray. The only con is I won’t be able to wear it until the weather is cooler, it is too much for the current weather where I live. An elevated, more feminine version of the original Si. To those saying it smells like La Belle, I actually like La Belle a lot, but this one smells more elegant imho, more mature and rosy. A more easy-going, less rosy version of this scent would be the Arabic perfume ‘Lamsat Harir’, which I have and love, it’s closer to the OG Si, but smoother. I’ll definitely be buying a bottle of Si Intense later this year.

This is a gorgeous, 9 out of 10, sophisticated, well- rounded fragrance. Si Intense is a modern fougere. This is NOT a gourmand/vanilla fragrance where you're only good enough to eat (maybe some people may like this, but I expect a lot more than a romp). It's definitely not a boring, linear, all rose encompassing fragrance! It starts straight up into a well-rounded, non-jarring, sweet, deep honey, lavender, cardamon, cashmeran, aldehyde, slight blackberry and Australian musk lolly fragrance. After a while, Si Intense loses about 90% of the honey note and smells more like Australian musk lolly, deep ambergris, lavender, tea rose/davana, cardamon, acacia blossom, gardenia with slight vanilla/tonka notes. Lastly, but not least, the back notes of Si Intense is ambergris, slight vetivert, cashmeran, tonka/vanilla/coumarin, slight tropical musk, tea rose/davana, oak moss, slight honey, all sitting on a bed of sandalwood incense. This is one of the only fragrances I have come across, that has been cleverly formulated to be able to keep a slight honey note in the back note, without being sickly tropical/gourmand. Ps: I am trying to figure out if there is a very slight Indonesian patchouli note - barely noticeable if there is!!

Got my free Macy’s sample box yesterday, decided to let the frags chill out before I tested them. Well, I’ve tried them all except for this new Si Intense, so it’s first in line. Right away, I definitely get the smell of BABY POWDER. 😷 It has a very low undercurrent of the Si scent profile, but for the most part it’s different than any of the entire Si family, like Passione (the red bottles), former Intense flankers, the EDT, Fiori (pink bottle), etc. It seems quite weak to be given the name “Eau de Parfum Intense” honestly I feel that this could have been a new Eau de Toilette if anything. After that blast of baby powder, give it 5-10 minutes, THEN the Si scent profile rises up. But with a powdery, just noticeably sweet vanilla layer. It’s not like straight-up blackcurrant juice here. Regardless, I feel more could have been done. The beginning is different but quickly morphs to a barely-altered Armani Si. I think that a moss note could have made this new Intense interesting, as well as actually leaning into the vanilla, black tea, and davana. In the end, this smells like Si EDP + a light airy sweet vanilla layered on top, worn after a long day. Maybe it’ll grow on me but for now, it don’t impress me much!

Armani Sì Intense is a beautifully crafted fragrance that exudes sophistication and femininity. Its longevity isn't that impressive (on my skin least), on fabrics can stay a little longer with a moderate sillage that makes a confident yet not overpowering statement. The bottle itself is exquisite, featuring a sleek design with Armani’s signature golden logo, embodying the essence of modern femininity. Overall, I like more this version from the original and I own both. Armani Sì Intense stands out for its distinct character, balancing fruity, floral, and ambery notes into a rich and sophisticated scent that appeals to confident, passionate women who appreciate elegance with a contemporary edge.

A few things out of the way first: I wish they would do something outside of this confusing and repetitive naming convention. The other Intense is pretty recent and does this mean it's being phased out? The way they do these flankers is confusing to follow. Secondly, the word "intense" has lost all meaning. Rarely have their "intense" flankers (for si and si passione) given me an intense vibe. Just another reason why I find the current naming convention confusing and unnecessary. All that being said, I actually really like this. I like it more than the original, and it has really nice projection and longevity on my skin. I might replace the original Si with this flanker in my rotation. I don't get the "boring and unoriginal" that I see people commenting on, but I think on me I appreciate it as a reliable and comforting scent. I have plenty other original and even challenging scents for days I want to be adventurous, but this is nice for regular use when you just need to quickly reach for something. It makes me feel polished and put together. But Armani please, please cool it on calling things "intense" for no reason! 😂

Ok I want to edit my review.. lol. 2 hours have passed by. It seems to be agreed upon (according to the internet) that after an hour has passed, you are in the drydown stage of a fragrance. This, THIS is where Si Eau de Parfum Intense shines. It gets away from all that blackcurrant and I keep getting wafts of a very sophisticated vanilla. Just sweet enough to never by cloying, just a bit fluffy to lend itself some maturity. It is a scent that has the deep, dark blackcurrant essence, but also the vanilla is airy. Still, I can’t say I detect the rose, davana, or black tea notes. But it’s fine for me, I like what I smell, only way I would change it is if the scent could be amped up. But, the truly sophisticated fragrances (as seen in the US) are the gentler types. So I think I can see where the Giorgio Armani team was leading this perfume towards. The ladies that wear a single spritz of Chanel or Dior. Perhaps this will be a new contender, worn by the sons and daughters of those ladies. Disregard my last review. Allow yourself to experience the drydown before posting a review, like I did. :)

Love by a complete accident as I got a free sample of this, while never really being drawn to the Si line so I would have never sought this out on my own. It is kind of a typical designer with nothing revolutionary going on, but frankly, I don't care. The composition in the base does something magical to my nose. There is some sirupiness from the black currant but it's more in the background and it's mainly about the vanilla with the other notes creating complexity around it. The vanilla feels slightly boozy and is done in such an addictive way, everytime I used the sample I've spent the entire evening smelling my wrists. It's not too gourmandy or too weird, it's simply done just right and it meshes so well with the other notes that give it extra depth. I also find this really long lasting. I can't compare it to its predecessors but I had this on my arms and the scent transferred from my arms to my sweater, and then back from my sweater to my arms the next day and it completely covered up another fragrance I was testing then. 😅 So I'd say it holds its own.

Bought this yesterday in the sales as my original si is almost finished. Its a new bottle, so I need to let it macerate . I sprayed this on last night, one spray and I could still smell it this morning! This morning I've put a few spritzes on... I love it! Lasts long, great silliage. The black current is so strong in the beginning, sweet. About 15 minutes and its gone. Rose is very subtle, which is good for me as I'm not a fan of rose, or maybe I am when its done right?? Next a very slight hint of vanilla, not overly sweet either, just the right amount, at first I didn't get the black tea, now I do, more of a sweet black tea, that would be from the other notes . I appreciate the patchouli, adds a touch of woodyness to the scent, which is needed otherwise I would find the scent too sweet. I think its a great mix and works well together. This however is not a blind buy, test on ypur skin before you decide.

It's interesting that this is the Intense version of Si, as I actually find it softer and more feminine. Original Si opens on me with this burst of rich, fruity blackcurrant before settling into red wine for a while and finally becoming a boozy vanilla. The opening of Intense on me is less rich, almost a touch soapy, and I can pick up the rose more than with original, which isn't especially floral on my skin. Where this shines for me is the vanilla, which comes in after about 20 minutes. It's warm and cosy and delicious, with a very very slight powder. Original Si makes me think of a vanilla liqueur, whereas Intense makes me think of white chocolate. I think this is more of a crowd-pleaser than the original. I find the performance between the two similar; both last decently well, and I've had compliments on both. I love this perfume and wear this most of the year, but it's too cloying for very warm days.

I love great vanilla scents, and this is fast becoming a favorite among many. When I’ve chosen it as my ‘scent for the day’, I’m always glad I did. Even in summer. There’s something about that davana note that adds a freshness to the composition that makes it so versatile. It does start off with a juicy dark berry note, and there is a pretty rose demurely hiding in the middle; but it’s strictly a vanilla scent on me. There’s a light smokiness along with an imagined cocoa note in the thick bourbon vanilla that doesn’t leave you for many hours. And it projects very well leaving a scent bubble that I really enjoy. An excellent performer. If you’re looking for a new vanilla to love, you might want to test this one. It really has very little to do with the original SI. And if you find you love it - the beautiful bottle is a bonus.

Love this! Tested it in store, it wasn't interesting at first spray. It felt weak compared to the other flankers, maybe even weaker than the original EDP. However, it started making a difference throughout the day. The green tea was coming out discretely, the rose turned out very syrupy (more than the blackcurrant for once in a Si flanker), the bourbon vanilla stood out, and though it's not my favorite vanilla, I don't know why I loved it here! The mixture of these became intoxicating, and I couldn't help but smelling my wrist every now and then! I even threw out all the other cartoons on which I tested other fragrances that day, because that one, only that one, blew my mind! I guess I'm buying one as soon as the flankers I have are empty. Plus: The bottle design is amazing!! 8.5/10

I don’t normally do fragrance reviews.. but after buying the new Si Intense I was completely hypnotised. A beautiful fragrance that isn’t too overpowering but not boring either.. the opening is like a boozy thick blackcurrant jam, then dries to a gorgeous sweet rose, then finishes with a kind of vanilla that is more sophisticated, not a sweet sugary candy like but more mature. I was a huge fan of Cacharel’s Amor Amor and blackberry/grape fragrances in general as I wanted something that was fruity, but a bit more interesting and captivating; not too out there and generic but still incredibly addictive. I will say the bottle is still gorgeous but not my favourite, although still worth it for the love and attachment I feel for this new version of Armani’s Si Intense.

Love her! Si is my favorite fragrance of all time and holds a very special place in my heart. Si Intense 2021 has been my go to Si since it released because it's just SO juicy and SO STRONG. Keeping in mind I'm only on my second full wear of this version and Summer has just started, but it doesn't seem to be super long lasting. It projects pretty well for about 30 minutes, and maybe after that others can smell it, but I only get whiffs. It creates a gorgeous scent bubble, but I reapply once I lose it. The scent: original Si but smoother, softer, and far more vanilla forward. This is so ethereal on me. I feel like an otherworldly beautiful angel with this on. Layered with Ralph Lauren Tender Romance? One of my favorite, most unreal combos EVER.

This is deliciously sweet and juicy blackcurrant, with a vanilla and jammy rose base. I absolutely love it! I prefer this one over the original Sì, it’s more elevated and the addition of the bourbon vanilla makes it feel kind of sexy. The vanilla notes in this are more deep and rich, not a synthetic vanilla. It also has a soft, skin-like powdery note in the dry down which compliments the vanilla perfectly. The black tea note is definitely there in the background alongside the davana, which gives it a very slight green aspect which I appreciate as it stops it from being too thick or sweet. In short: take the original Sì, make it a bit less woody, then amp up the vanilla and blackcurrant notes and you have this flanker. Gorgeous!

This perfume is very feminine and romantic, one of my favorites and a staple. I use it on sweet and innocent date nights, lasts easily 8-12h on my skin with moderate/strong sillage. That being said, if you love this one, do not make the mistake I did and don’t buy the Parfum version which is supposed to be more potent but has a leather note. Maybe it’s my skin chemistry but that one is horrendous and I can only smell the leather (like new car with leather seats) and it kind of ruined this one for me, because they both have the same DNA. And everytime I wear this I keep getting flashbacks from how awful the Parfum version is and my brain tricks me into thinking this one has leather too and it’s completely ruined.

I ran out of the original Si and I decided to try this one instead. It’s so stunning! It starts off with the blackcurrant before the vanilla bourbon comes through, it’s not a sickly sweet vanilla - very well balanced and it’s deeper than the vanilla note in the original Si. Then the rose and black tea are in the background. I’m obsessed. In the dry down it’s sweet and slightly powdery. The original has been a long-time favourite of mine, but this is truly so much better. This version feels more refined. The perfect day to day or dress it up for a night out type of fragrance. Gorgeous.

It is the middle of summer and I haven’t reached for this in months. I just sprayed this on and oh my. It is so good. Even on the hottest days. It’s delicious. The black current and vanilla. The dry down is so ethereal and pretty. It’s just so classy. Beautiful. I think the warmth of my skin is bringing out the fruitier notes more. It’s not too much for this season as I thought it would be. I mean I wouldn’t wear this to an outdoor event on super hot days but if you’re going to be in the air conditioning, sure. I’ve been really into vanilla fruity scents lately and this is it.

I already left a review on this as soon as I got it, and I have to admit I didn't like it. It was quite powdery for my nose! However, since it's not an intrusive scent I gave it a chance and started wearing it more often... After finishing the 8ml little bottle I got and receiving many compliments, I have realized I do enjoy it a lot! Just got a full bottle and couldn't be happier. This perfume in my opinion/for my lifestyle is suitable for any occasion, you can dress it up or down and also layer it to make it woodier for a more intense kick. love love love!

I love this, but similarity to jpg la belle with the same dna of the original si I would say this is better than La belle My only gripe with the whole si line is that they don’t seem to last more than 2-3 hours on me. I have the regular and a tiny tiny amount left of the discontinued fiore and now this one and while this is the strongest one, again, compared to other perfumes in my 175 bottle collection, this isn’t a strong performer, but it is a beautiful fragrance, strong for the first hour or so then dries down to a sweet powdery skin scent
